How to adjust the phone holder cradle on a VW Volkswagen Up!/Skoda Citigo/SEAT Mii

Having nearly torn the phone holder out of the car and lobbed it out of the window, I thought I'd give a clear demonstration of how to adjust the phone holder in a Volkswagen Up!
Also works for the Skoda Citigo and SEAT Mii.
Some questions I've had:-
Q: Where can I find this part?
A: Search part number '1S0 051 435 E'. They occasionally come up on Ebay, but check the image of the part you're buying matches the cradle in the video.
Q: Does a X inch screen fit the holder?
A: Not sure, a Google Pixel 6 and iPhone 13 fit comfortably though.

So my problem is that the Map won't show in Landscape, and the phone cradle won't mount the phone in profile! Yes, I can use a Force Rotation App, but then 2/3 of the map is obliterated by the banner info across the bottom. Current solution is use Google maps, which does automatically rotate.
