    The title should read " How to REMOVE a STOCK RADIO - STEREO.............With One Hand"!!! Very impressive. Looking forward to part 2.

    Very impressive and will certainly prevent broken parts for new installers. Wish other publishers had the knowledge & took this much care with delicate plastic components.

    great video! what shift knob is that? I like it! does it shortens the throw any?

    • @Jim19053ElectronicsDude
      @Jim19053ElectronicsDude  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheUnicornblood It is a Hurst knob and shifter. The throw is slightly shorter and it has a better feel - less clunky if you know what I mean.

      +Jim19053 Thanks jim. Where can I buy one? I am not allowed to use any kind of short shifter kit due to SCCA rules. So I need JUST the shifter. Will Hurst sell me just the shift knob? will it mount up to the oem tthread?

    any idea on how much the stock radio weighs? looking to delete it all together and just curious to the weight

      +slowvette slowvette Just the head unit or the entire system? It was light enough that I could throw it pretty far! LoL!

    can't figure out how to remove the active.habdling part. one of the plugs won't come out

      +themensview Sometimes a very small screwdriver can be used to pry it apart. Be careful not to short the wires or crack the plastic. Our old Vettes parts are starting to get brittle- kind of like me!! LoL!
