I actually seem to prefer these over their orchestral libraries (which are still awesome) because I love this kind of in your face, intimate kinda sound. I kind of have a thing for hearing every single nuance of the instrument played extremely closed to the mic (those fat trombones are insane). With the orchestral libraries it seems you can never quite get rid of that room sound. Great for orchestral compositions, but not exactly versatile when it comes to other genres. Which really is just a convoluted way of saying I gotta get myself these too..... If only these too had a performance legato patch I would get them in a heartbeat.
Well they kind of do have a performance Lagoto because you can stack articulations…
I think i'll start saving up for a bundle (if there's going to be one) with studio woods.

Sounds awesome but troublesome with Logic Pro X...!! I guess it's especially if you go further than Monterey and/or have an M1 chip. Komplete Kontrol (Native Instruments). I've also noticed that Abbey Road One is non functional...
I bought it and I find when you max out DYNAMICS of the trombones and some other brass patches the sound gets thin and nasal and a bit strident . Considering the price I guess we shouldn't expect a 1000 $ LIBRARY for 200 but I'm a little disappointed . I might mention that I played trombone .
Lovely library... The one thing I wish Spitfire had was like a SINE player like the Orchestral Tools Series libraries. It would be nice to jump quicker to the articulations..

It's surposed to be dry? It's recorded in a studio space (not a hall).
Thomas Andersen I guess so. I’m only now starting to appreciate brass.
Its a high contrast to the Symphonic Brass for sure ;) Which is super wet.
You can always add reverb to a dry track. You can't subtract it if it's part of the sample...
I miss there an option for a breath- or wind-controller.
