Just had mine done by Dr. Gross on Friday. The best experience of excellence and accuracy! The staff was beyond amazing and informative.
Had mine done by Prof Meek, Glasgow on the NHS! Brilliant, after 2.5 years I have continued to run up to 60 miles per week and have returned to racing at the age of 66! I required 2 days in hospital to recover. Not a one day/night recovery procedure in my opinion!
Hi jim, may I ask if the implants were chrome cobalt, I'm a young 63 and one consultant recommended total hip replacement andvthe it her said my bones were too far gone.
Also im told both only last some 15 years which is not good.

I was visiting that doctor around 2 years ago and I had my right hip problem since I was 4 years and now I am 42 and I saw many many doctors in my life from diffident countries and this doctor one of the best he treats me like a Father…I am from Lancaster PA I works with Amish people and if I saw anybody with hip problem I tell them go to see doctor Thomas Gross. I did not yet have resurfacing i waiting when ceramic resurfacing will be available here in the USA and I wish my surger be doctor Thomas Gross … he is just has gift from God. Don’t believe me just visit him one and you will understand me what i am talking!)
Dr. Gross, and all other surgeons, are results of education, science, professionalism, and skill. You’re belittling the profession saying he’s a gift from a god.

Dr. Gross, Lee and staff are awesome! I had a left hip resurface in 2014 and it is doing great! In fact, I am probably going to need a consult, as my right hip will need a resurface in the future.
He is the best !
I'm 60 years old and very active, with longevity in my family on both sides reaching the 90's. I REALLY want a re-surfacing rather than a total hip replacement, but I'm not sure if I'll find a phsyician in my area to do a re-surfacing. But I'm going to try!

Is the MoM something to be concerned about?
Does resurfacing use cross-linked polyethilene plastics? Dr.Yun says research shows cross linked type lasts 5x longer than regular ones.
