Makes it sound like an upgraded turbo with the res delete. That turbo sounds so good in the cabin!
Res delete didn’t do much for turbo noise, mostly the downpipe and intake!

Did you ever run your AA DP without the res delete? I'm getting my M240i in a couple weeks and the DP will be my 1st mod with a Stage 2 tune. I'm looking for a quieter comfort mode and a roaring sport mode. Also, I'm in MA too! Maybe an M240i meet this summer?
I did the dual resonator delete first so I never had just the downpipe on. Even with the DP and resonator delete the car is nearly silent in comfort mode with the windows up if you’re just cruising normally. I can confirm I passed inspection last year with the downpipe on here in MA, however I wasn’t tuned yet. I’ll probably just flash back to stock for a week pre-inspection to get everything ready. Totally down for a 2 series meet though! You’ll find me in all the B58 or 2 series forums on FB so hit me up there and maybe we can organize one lol
@@mevans8646 I was able to pass inspection OBD sensor in illinois on stage 1 tune MHD tune no problem. 2017 M240i here.

Question for you bro . What muffler did you have on the car ? Is it the stock valved muffler or something else
Stock muffler, which is technically valved but it makes little difference open or closed.

hey man what rpm do you have the the burble tune set at? also do your prefer OEM over soft?
I have them set to anything above 2000 will burble just so it’s not popping constantly in traffic. And yes I prefer the OEM burbles vs the soft setting with this particular setup. Even soft was too much for my taste.

Im new to the car scene how does one self tune the MHD AND XHP? I love this setup and want it on mine but I am not sure how to “tune” the car or make changes to it like that
You have to buy an MHD OBD2 adapter to plug into the car, and download the MHD and/or XHP apps and install from there. It’s a pretty simple process, plenty of TH-cam videos on the subject if you search for how-to’s. Only takes a few minutes once you’re connected.

I tend to be very sensitive to drone and there really isn’t any with this setup.
Do you have ASD on or off??
I run with ASD off, but during the in-car footage the mic is taped near the exhaust lol
@@mevans8646 AHH fair, so tempted to do a double Res delete on mine, just wondering how loud it is inside without ASD.
@@okthen515 even with this setup, with ASD off and the windows up it’s basically silent when you’re not on it. Still super tame inside for daily driving like I do. With only a dual res delete (I have a few videos on my channel on that) it sounds nearly stock with the windows up. With ASD off because it bothered my ears, it was wayyy to quiet for me which is why I added the downpipe. Adding the intake also really improved noise inside, more than the exhaust mods did tbh.
