I just ordered one of these today. I hope it doesn't disappoint me. Looks like it's been five years since yours was made. A lot can change from a manufacturing standpoint. Have you tried broaching on it? I was wondering if it would do a 1/4 inch keyway. I have like a 30 day lead time. Thanks for the vid. I think you still have the only one that isn't a restoration vid. Perhaps I can do a broaching video with it once it arrives.

Great press, you might want to move the press back on the table that way the end with the opening is supported and less chance of possibly cracking!

I bought the exact arbor press used in amazing condition for 1/3 of the stupid money for a brand new one. Yes, I got lucky, but if you're a weekend warrior on a budget, get on FB marketplace, Craigslist, and eBay and find a used Dake, Famco, or Greenard and restore one for less than 1/2 price of new.

I hear ya on the price of a new Dake arbor press, its crazy! I would not have bought it if it were not for a 25% off coupon I had from Zoro.

Hey, what's the height from the top of the handle to the base of the press? Im thinking of getting one of these but im limited on head space, thanks.
