Not only missing fog but also particle effects, fire, water, etc ......... and then there's assorted stability issues causing crashes, not to mention the vertex explosions. Even though the development has been amazing there's still quite a ways to go before it's perfected.

I wonder if its their new version of optical hardware that they use to use to push a new console. Instead of hardware like dvd bluray etc, its now most wanted IPs remade to sell new consoles. What reason would anyone have had to purchase a ps5 if it wasnt for Demon Souls remake? Eveyrything else was already on ps4/pro
From what I heard, it's because at the time when they released, horizon sold 24million copies, and Bloodborne 7million. So from an economical point of view, it's smarter to keep releasing horizon content, instead of bloodborne, so they can capitalize on what's more popular. What they don't seem to realize, is that Elden ring's success created so many new fans of souls-likes that are flocking in and wanting to try out the older fromsoft titles, so making a Bloodborne port/remaster at this moment would be a good move, but they seem to be blind that.....

We should be aware of modding specifically. But if you fear that the emulators can be taken down, dont worry, emulators are legal. They did this magnificent work with lots of investigation and using a method similar but not equal to Ps4 architecture ,so Sony can´t take it down, unless it happens something like Yuzu, which is very unlikely because Ps4 is already past generation. What they can do, though, is to try eliminate roms and all that sh/t, but good luck with that; BB rom can be very easily obtained, specially now.

First because the emulator isn´t paywalled and second, the emulator is "meant" for players to put their PS4 copy of BB to run on PC, which is why you wont find the rom on their page. All of this is legal, they aren´t inflicting any copyright infrigement. The worst Sony can do is to try to take down the roms and some mods, but for the emulator, he can very well cry about it.
Minimum System Requirements Any CPU with at least 8 Threads and AVX512 is a Must !!!!! Don't even ask for troubleshooting if your CPU don't have AVX512. 16GB RAM with at least 4096MB Shader Cache size allocation. GTX 1070 or newer, Radeon RX 590 or newer.
You should have definitely included some of the later parts of the game and definitely include the massive issues like areas not loading assests correctly and vertex explosions Textures bugging out etc, so that in the future an updated video can show the same problem area with massive improvements! Definitely do another video like this just pure Bloodborne!

This is only a decent emulation video but BonfiresVN's style was well done as always, Showcased here is only the good stuff but the reality is stability and accurately isn't nearly acceptable yet which the video fails to show at all. This video could have done a lot more! Spoiler should be expected, (just include warnings for spoilers sections of course.) but for an emulation video showing just early areas fails setup future videos(Emulation Improvements overtime) and the state of bb on PC. Bloodborne on PC is very exciting but it's really only for Bloodborne players at the moment, new players will have a terrible experience plus how will they setup The emulator and obtain a copy of the game from a jailbroken ps4 and know how to repackage it? New players thinking about playing BB on PC should just forget about it(at least for a couple years)

The emulation still has many visual bugs, glitches and crashes. Its still in early development but can't wait for it to be fully functional and playable!
Wow man, i would rather buy a gaming laptop than a PS5 Pro, just so i can play this emulated version. It's a damn shame Sony is letting Bloodborne rot in their vault, instead of remastering it and or doing a official PC port of it. The best part of the PC version is that you can finally disable that stupid and horrible chromatic aberration effect. It serves no good purpose but to ruin the image clarity.
Its really hard for devs to sue emulators cuz the emulator doesn't come with the game, there are exception like Yuzu the switch emulator got nuked but that because they (stupidly) tried launching it on Steam which crossed a line PS3 emulation has been around for years, Sony cant do a thing about it I imagine this will be similar...hopefully
I believe the Nintendo lawsuit was more about the circumventing of drm and the required use of keys for the games. Because emulation is legal (even if it's on steam) I think Nintendo went this route with the complaint because of a lack of a set standard and the teams clear involvement in using those illegal decrypted keys while developing the tears of the kingdom branches of yuzu. Despite the emulator itself seemingly not giving out anything illegal I guess the lack of a standard scared yuzu enough especially after looking "amongously sussy" with the whole day one compatibility thing with Zelda.
There is still some work to be done, majorly with the clipping issues, shadows, smoothness…overall it’s great to see how it looks so far, keep it up Hunter, after all, a Hoonter must Emulate
This looks great, that being said I'm really worried about what Sony might do to this project once it's complete, right now there's just too much hype surrounding it.
The wavey on-screen effect when you kill the enemy with a riposte isn't there on PC. I hope they fix that. Also, the fog effect/particle effect would be nice. 4:38 this scene is too yellow compared to the PS5 version showed a few seconds ago. That requires a fix too. Overall, it is sooo much closer to completion that I think it will be done by Christmas!
Im sure it will continue to improve but im more than willing to ignore some visual differences just to be able to play it at 60 fps on my preferred platform tbh

By the time Sony gets their act together, fans will have Bloodborne running at 4K on PC, made all new Sly Cooper games, ported Shadow of the Colossus, and released a PS5 emulator before the PS6 is even out.
Some particle effects, fog, haze and some highlights are missing, but you can finally remove the chromatic aberration and remove the motion blur, a few more months and it will surely be well finished.
I’m so down bad I’m playing it at 360 p at 30 frames with a butt ton of mods but it does not look ugly (besides low res) and it’s a stable 30 I am about to fight gascoin but I got through the cleric beast and sewers just fine

@@Boss_Fight_Index_muki we'll see by the time of release. People underestimate how terrible the specs of the ps4 and xbone actually were. Obviously you're going to need better hardware to emulate it but I feel like the 1080 or 1070ti range will be more likely
And all this for free (maybe donations idk) and in their spare time. Imagine if a dedicated paid workforce with actual workplace management (which, sadly, a LOT of devs seem to lacking) was set up to do this with similar quality being the end goal. Not a proper remake, just a basic port/remaster with 60 fps. It can't possibly cost THAT much.

I'm genuinely surprised that Sony isn't putting a Cease & Desist on this. Not because of the emulation part since emulation _is_ legal (Sony isn't Nintendo, fuck Nintendo and their shitty practices towards emulators), but because people are effectively remastering their own IP. I said it before elsewhere and I'll say it again: since Sony isn't taking down all these videos on the Bloodborne emulation, that really tells us they don't care that it's being done and they have no plans to actually do anything with Bloodborne themselves.

Fog Missing seems to be one of the biggest visual differences so far. Can't believe how fast this has progressed. Only a few months ago PS4 Emulation was celebrating reaching the main menu in some games.

Funny how the rush to emulate the PS3 was largely driven by Demon's Souls. Now the push for PS4 emulation is driven by Bloodborne.

Because emulation is legal (even if it's on steam) I think Nintendo went this route with the complaint because of a lack of a set standard and the teams clear involvement in using those illegal decrypted keys while developing the tears of the kingdom branches of yuzu. Despite the emulator itself seemingly not giving out anything illegal I guess the lack of a standard scared yuzu enough especially after looking "amongously sussy" with the whole day one compatibility thing with Zelda.

The wavey on-screen effect when you kill the enemy with a riposte isn't there on PC. I hope they fix that. Also, the fog effect/particle effect would be nice. 4:38 this scene is too yellow compared to the PS5 version showed a few seconds ago. That requires a fix too. Overall, it is sooo much closer to completion that I think it will be done by Christmas!
Im sure it will continue to improve but im more than willing to ignore some visual differences just to be able to play it at 60 fps on my preferred platform tbh

I, a BB veteran, am happy than never before that Sony can't do shit with this. Even when they did remaster on PS5 it's already useless. Now only a remake can save upcoming Bloodborne sales. And oh God, fear the old DEI

By the time Sony gets their act together, fans will have Bloodborne running at 4K on PC, made all new Sly Cooper games, ported Shadow of the Colossus, and released a PS5 emulator before the PS6 is even out.
Some particle effects, fog, haze and some highlights are missing, but you can finally remove the chromatic aberration and remove the motion blur, a few more months and it will surely be well finished.
I’m so down bad I’m playing it at 360 p at 30 frames with a butt ton of mods but it does not look ugly (besides low res) and it’s a stable 30 I am about to fight gascoin but I got through the cleric beast and sewers just fine

@@Boss_Fight_Index_muki we'll see by the time of release. People underestimate how terrible the specs of the ps4 and xbone actually were. Obviously you're going to need better hardware to emulate it but I feel like the 1080 or 1070ti range will be more likely
And all this for free (maybe donations idk) and in their spare time. Imagine if a dedicated paid workforce with actual workplace management (which, sadly, a LOT of devs seem to lacking) was set up to do this with similar quality being the end goal. Not a proper remake, just a basic port/remaster with 60 fps. It can't possibly cost THAT much.
What are the system requirements for Bloodborne on shadps4? I'm running a ryzen 5 3600 and a 1080ti, do you guys think it would be decent enough to run it at 30+ fps?
This game is for PS4 and not PS5. It only runs on PS5 for backwards compatibility.
Only reason why i don't play bloodborne is because the 30 fps 720p graphics on the ps4. So Finally, 1440p 60fps pure bliss.

I'm genuinely surprised that Sony isn't putting a Cease & Desist on this. Not because of the emulation part since emulation _is_ legal (Sony isn't Nintendo, fuck Nintendo and their shitty practices towards emulators), but because people are effectively remastering their own IP. I said it before elsewhere and I'll say it again: since Sony isn't taking down all these videos on the Bloodborne emulation, that really tells us they don't care that it's being done and they have no plans to actually do anything with Bloodborne themselves.
OFC the year i broke down and bought a used ps4 and Bloodborne copy this happens. Still so happy thought it would take way longer. Hope more people can enjoy the best game of all time. 😌

Fog Missing seems to be one of the biggest visual differences so far. Can't believe how fast this has progressed. Only a few months ago PS4 Emulation was celebrating reaching the main menu in some games.

tbh I like the lack of fog, for the next update I'd like to see a Watchdog of the Old Lords fight cause god damn does fire drop all the frames on PS4 and not having that issue would be incredible

I'm very happy for the pc gamers that never played the game, it's almost time for the Bloodborne community to grow and that can only be a good thing
instead of everybody blaming the brand name sony. why not find out who owns sony, the c.e.o, their name or names and face or faces and get at them. who is behind the brand, controlling it and calling the shots and giving the okay and no. saying the brand name will only help them hide and be away from accountability. doing this instead of saying the brand names, will have much better results. same for the game developers. we should do this for all companies.
