Bought two of these 300s and a 230. Sold all three of these turds within a couple months. Absolute junk on the trail. Now we have the TPI KTM 300 XCW, 250 XCW and Husqvarna TE250i. Also had the TE300i for a while. Never will I own a Japanese bike again. The 2-stroke enduro bikes are phenomenal on the trails. They do everything effortlessly compared to those heavy boat anchor 4 strokes and they just won’t stall or flame out. And they are so enjoyable to ride and go through technical stuff. Now we have sooooo much fun riding. When we ride in groups all of the 4-stoke Japanese bikes and the heavy 450s just struggle.
Nice ride. You said it came with a skid plate? I just bought 2 of the 300s and a 230 for my daughter. None of them had a skid plate?? Also, have you noticed it takes a couple minutes to start after laying it down?
It's not a full actual skid plate. I should have clarified. It does have a skid plate protecting the engine cases. If you look under you can see it between the frame. And no I havent noticed I havent laid mine down yet. Sorry
How much throttle are you using to pop wheelies? Cause I got one last June and have been getting better and am used to the Weight now so I’m trying to learn to wheelie, I can pop wheelies in first and ride it for a second but I can’t seem to get it up in second or third. And how much throttle % do you recommend using to at least pop it up Cause I’m still learning
Hey nick how tall are you and how much do you weigh, i know little personal i got a 250 kx and am tired of kickstarting on trail's is that bike easy to throw around, anything else info wise would be awesome im about 5'8 230 yes big little guy lol
@@jroc9840 if you like riding dirtbikes enough to purchase a new one, get this one. If a 250two stroke kicks your ass you will love the klx. Even if you only kind of enjoy riding your 250, you will love riding the klx. I have been a racer for years and this bike made me remember why I rode in the first place. It's not to get your ass kicked. It's to have fun!
Hey nick, just wanted to let you know i bought one today because of your vids. Thanks for the inspiration!
Dude that's awesome. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you

Thanks for the vids! Think I'm going to pick this thing up and sell the old trusty 2001 XR400 beast. any plans on making this street legal?
No the Last thing I want to do is add even more weight to this.
Are you able to adjust the shifter height? Awesome video
Thank you. You mean the foot lever for shifting? If so yes you can.
Nick406 thanks Nick. My 125 you can’t do that and I have bad ankles so I can barely shift a full gear.
Does your bike have the emissions bs on the engine?
I have made zero modifications to this but it is not the California model
Hey Nick you ride like a sheila!!
I don't know what that means but if it means slow I would agree with you

This bike will easily do wheelies in 4th gear. It's all about body position, throttle and clutch. Just keep practicing
Hey Nick,
Super riding skills. What place/park/trail is it?
Montana.
Thank you.

Have you bought the bike already or are you just thinking about it?
@@Nick-fs8vg thinking of it i have a kx250 that kick my butt cause the suspension is set up for motor cross and no electric start
