    Many ornamental flowers and cut flowers are TOXIC. ALWAYS do your own research and take responsibility for the plants that you introduce around your kids, pets, and everyone else. Use common sense when handling plant materials: wear gloves, always wash hands, avoid contact with face, etc. NEVER consume any plant which has not been positively identified with complete certainty to be safe and edible. Before planting anything, research to determine whether specific flowers are considered invasive where you live or if there are laws that apply to their planting in your area.

    Girlllllll! I had no idea these varieties existed. Firstly thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful garden with us. I loved fantasy and Alexis. I love big unusual flowers. Now you have me giving my basic mums in my garden the side eye. I will definitely be planting some of these mum’s next season. I just finished ordering alot of the dahlias that I saw from your garden tour now you show me these beautiful mum’s. Bad girl. Wink. Wink lol

    Love Alexis, River City, Bill Holden, Seatons Jadore' and Kokka Bunni. They all are beautiful. So many different things can affect color, especially soil. I love your videos. The one on Dahlias was a gem also. Thanks for the name of your supplier for small starters. Keep up the good work. 👍❤️

    I’m impressed with the River City ! I love them all it’s so inspirational. I didn’t realize chrysanthemums could flow in the garden so beautifully , the ones I see at the garden store look so stiff . The Bill Holden soft pink is lovely too !

    I’m a bit late to comment, been saving gardening vids to binge during the coolish weather we call winter here in zone 9b. Not a fan of the garden variety mum, but these are stunning! Especially that River City which is in my wheel house of peachy, apricot, pink, yellow colors. Gorgeous!

    Oh dear, I just never thought about growing mums - been primarily a vegetable grower for many years but now I'm going more towards flowers due to a few issues. Look what you've done, lol. I've been haunting the Kings website for at least an hour now! Thank you for the great video!

    Season’s J’adore’ is my favorite if you could do it with Cafe au late, Queen of Sweden roses and Eucalyptus, white orlaya, viburnum Berries, and light blue salvia farinacea. I think that would make a beautiful bouquet if you had all of them available at the same time.

    Gillette’s my favorite for sure! In your research to grow them even better next year, let us know if you see anything about forcing them earlier, or getting them to hold off a bit. That’s a lot of blooms all at once and if you have multiples of the same variety, it could be useful to space them out. I know I have heard it mentioned before “ if you want your mums blooming at thanksgiving do ______ now,” but I’m drawing a blank.

      Since my yard is pretty small, I usually just buy one or two of each type I want and then take cuttings in spring. Thanks for watching! 🌱🌱🌱

    White cut flowers seem so hard to grow outdoors... It's like you have to either pick them earlier than you would like or get stuck with dealing with damage, burning, or some other discoloring.. I just avoid them altogether. Lol
    And it's interesting that you had a number of plants come out different from what you were expecting.. I would be curious to know if other people had issues with those types as well.

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers
      @TONYAwiththeflowers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's so true! The white mums were cute, but I don't think I'd plant them again. 🌱🌱🌱 Thanks for watching! 🌷🌷🌷

    Thanks for the tour. I've been intrigued with trying them. I have a beautiful white one that I bought. Now, it's sort of sitting inside like a house plant. I repotted it. I wonder what will happen if I just leave it like this. Maybe I should try some cuttings? Any suggestions at this point in the winter?

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers
      @TONYAwiththeflowers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have another video about chrysanthemum after care that might be helpful. I think I would go ahead and take some cuttings, just in case something happens. Different chrysanthemums seems like they have different hardiness to cold. I usually just leave my plants outdoors to let them go dormant. Hope that helps! Good luck! :)

    Have you done a soil test? I'm curious if your soil has become a bit acidic because you mentioned a lot of your plants have bloomed with unexpected colors. Like your hydrangea in a different video and some of your dahlias in another.

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers
      @TONYAwiththeflowers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My soil has definitely changed, but only in certain places, like near my fence. I'm thinking it may be because my neighbor sprays a lot of round up and uses a lot of chemical grass fertilizers.
