I'm definitely no expert but I always appreciate having one of these on my team, Beam Magnum is a pretty scary ult and his gun + shield funnels can hold down a choke pretty well
It's damage is actually mediocre compared to most. It's main benefit is the sustained fire and group armor buff. A crit headshot with this is almost the same damage as pale rider's body shot damage, and has a lower crit multiplier. It has flimsy HP and is massive as well, notice how they are looking down on their enemies in the video.
