I can imagine a scenario where the engineer talking on the phenex. Engineer 1: you know, adding nitro system on the ntd system is kinda dangerous and reckless. Engineer 2: yeah and besides, the nitro system make the ms set on flames on space, isn't that dangerous like its gonna cooked the pilot from the inside? Engineer 3: nah, what could possibly go wrong? Atleast we are getting paid lol. -Phenex starts killing everyone-
It would be cool if the Banshee lets a bloodcurdling scream when it activates it's psychoframe like the spirit from Irish folklore it's been named after.
If you listen closely the Unicorn, Banshee, and Phenex have their own signature "screeches." Banshee screeches a few times, sounding more aggressive than the "whistling" noises the Unicorn makes.
This is the best explanation of all the mobile suit mechanics and abilities I’ve seen spanning Gundam Unicorn. It’s an achievement considering that UC history in unicorn is a little mismatched and hard to understand. These videos always are super helpful because I personally feel that most shows don’t dumb down the story enough.

I LOVED Gundam Unicorn. Every time I watch it from start to finish, I just become overwhelmed with joy and hope, so much so that I can't stop smiling. Also, I thought that the Unicorn was being held onto by the Mineva Faction in case it was needed again. I mean, I heard Gundam Unicorn was getting at second season at some point. I’m actually a bit confused about some of the Luminous Crystal abilities; the time manipulation and matter control are pretty self-evident from the anime, but the other abilities I haven’t seen anywhere else, whether it be manga, games, novels, etc (unless these things have been confirmed very recently). Ironically, I haven’t seen something that says the Unicorn can create a new dimension, but the interview excerpt Zeth shows at 7:46 has Fukui saying the Unicorn can destroy a dimension.

another fun fact, Unicorn is the first MS who applied Funnel Missile as battle data leading to the creation of Xi and Penelope greatest weapons (in OVA ver.) also Unicorn's frame is like the most robust MS frame in UC time (Unicorn ripping the hell out Sinanju Neo Zeong and Banshee MMA a bunch of Jegan and ReZel) since in RC, G-Phenex easily ripped out G-Arcane
Ahh what beautiful units these are. I honestly love the unicorn line and while it is true that there are ALOT of gunpla for them I dont mind and want to experience more of it since it feels like a culmination of many project from the UC timeline, from the hades to the physic communicators to the gundams themselves

As magic as it is, I can't stop admiring how wonderful the Unicorns are. Things became a bit too super robot-y in NT for my taste, but the designs are still super cool. The full psycoframe Nu could've been my favorite Gundam ever, but unfortunately it is like a model and that's it. It would be amazing to see it animated

I don't get people who complain about NewType or Psychofield "space magic". In most series I would hate these addition because it's "convenient", because it's "deus ex machina". However Gundam UC century took their sweet time (40 years! Both in stories and in real life) to gradually build up more and more "NT magic" into the epic resolution in Unicorn and Narrative. They aslo introduce more sci-fi rules along with it as it gets more powerful, so "NT magic" is not unlike Minovsky techs. Ain't nothing "convenient" about it. It's just scifi. No other series deserve these epic moments like Gundam does. Those criticism calling"cheap" or BS are quite silly.
Psyco frame is a interface to machine, more like keyboard. The question is can 2 very good keyboards make your computer become bulletproof, fly, run without power and shoot laser to destroy things?

@@PakornThaipituk A much better way to understand psycho frame is think of it like nanobots in a nanosuit. It is simultaneously interface and hardware itself, and it scales. It's like in Crysis 2 where the guy is getting the alien version of the nanosuit, being able to command it to do a lot of things without knowing what it really is. Hell he even turn into the suit just like Phenex. The whole gimmck of the RX0 line is that they are entirely made with psycho frame so it shares no similarity to a keyboard.
Very nice episode! Summarizes everything we know about the unicorn units in great detail. Feels shame that the only time we see from them again was during g reco, feel there was a missed opportunity there to have phenex return rather than just have a sham recreation, but ofc g reco came out before narrative did. This was probably the most intimidating Gundam to have ever existed... Wait wait wait about creating a new dimension where have we seen unicorn create a new dimension or something that can considered a new dimension. Its more like it can travel inbetween dimensions. Something we definitely know from nu gundam as it disappeared along with char. A physical thing disappeared from the dimension of UC. And in a short lalah showed amuro other gundam dimensions and turn A gundam destroying. And luminous crystal form is when pilits soul merges with the psychoframe and it can trancend death. As we saw banager leaving his body and unicorn to see his father then return to his own body upon his decision. Which cancelled the luminous body state.

NTD Unicorn can do V2's 20G acceleration (but ded pilot tho if not perfected Newtyoe) one little detail is that Kshatriya Psychoframe cockpit glow is purple but when Unicorn hacked it, it turns to red meaning Unicorn can also control other Psychoframe MS if the pilot don't have high Newtype affinities (just like Rozen Zulu got controlled by Unicorn) also it doesn't have to be luminous crystal body (in novel it just became a new entity just like ELS QanT but still retain the MS form) to have those move, it can also destroy physical dimension or universe if there is a misstep on using perfected Unicorn, non canon wise even Turn A's MLB got psycho jacked by Nu Gundam Also Shield can used as another Psychofield enhancer (which basically blocks beam and ballistic weapons)
By now i believe uc is going to do some shit like universal traveling meaning unicorn and banagher can defo go to other gundam series or go back. I mean they did make an animation of him going back in time going through all the uc shows so its not far from reality

O MY GOD. I always thought Phenex was the spelling of the name but the pronunciation was Phoenix and I thought it was inspire by the mythological fire bird. But I was so wrong I never knew it was actually a demon name. Fun fact: I read the wiki and Phenex is one of the 72 demons of King Solomon. So probably there is in the Iron Blooded Orphans universe a Gundam frame name Phenex out there. I wonder how it will look like during the calamity war and after?
Didn't know there was no special explanation for why the Osychoframes emit different colors. Before I saw both Unicorn OVAs, Narrative Movie and the G-Phenex and Unicorn Perfectability. I thought it was just rule of cool and the red doesn't clash on Phenex's NTD. After seeing them I thought it had to do with the output of the NTD in relation to the dangers it has. Red is the normal NTD configuration it offers the most balanced power to risk ratio. Allowing the pilot to get ised to the system so that inevitably the pilot could slowly get used and adapt to the system. Hopefully managing to grow enough to access the Awakened NTD. Yellow/Orange has higher output and power than Red at the cost of higher risk. Heightening the pilot's negative aspects. Mental Instability, Aggression/Rage/Anger, Loosing Control, etc. Blue is the strongest non Awakened/Green mode but also the most dangerous. It allows the NTD to access abilities that normally requires the unit to be in Awakened state like the ability to revert tech or weapons into parts. It however disregard the pilot's safety, putting so much strain into their Minds. Enough to kill the pilot and cause the unit to go berserk at the same time. Green/Awakened is when the system and the Newtype/Cyber Newtype becomes fully in sync. Allowing the full potential of the system. Allows longer operational time(it os what it looks to me). Also offering the least risk to the pilot's mental well being and being the most stable. Crystalized is when the system and pilot fully becomes one. To the point of the pilot losing his physical body. To the point of ascending into a Newtype Ghost.
Actually I know this might sound crazy but it would be cool if you ever covered the TR series for instance the Hazel custom or the kaheer 2 but I know those things are complicated but an idea for the future:)
I would also like to point out that Unicorn is fully operational after being crystalized because Unicorn used time manipulation crap to revert 01 back to it's NOT CRYSTALIZED state

In my school vr game goalius is the first unit that has all armed armour weapons and abilities like vn bs xc de and the hj ( the hj was used by him in a dual against gundam kimaris vidar and left it and it was picked up by kimaris vidar) and during the battle against the revolutionary members to rescue beal and ryuko maktoi he activities destroyer mode and ntd and used the xc to try and break ryuko maktoi from MCgalise fareed control these ended with goalius unlocked destroyer unchained mode and destroying the tallgeese 4 and melted half of the eepion gundam cockpit exposing zechs marches and escaped with de and in the second battle fyi it was neo zeon fault for sending 45 kids to the hospital and a fatui harbinger but that's not all the asw g 64 gundam flaurios was destroyed by goalius armed armour vn ripping the suit like wet paper and zeon accidentally supercharged goalius with 7 new types entering the battle and during the battle goalius activities destroyer unchained mode and created fake ultra wormholes and 2 more fake overlords of the vortex's And escaped yet again and finally he showed up ultra space and unlocked luminous crystal body mode after killing the cursed phenex a replacement of the warmth light of phenix and during that battle he absolutely demolished it and killed mask and then was stopped by ryuko maktoi after ARIANHROD FLEET found out that he was enraged by MCgalise fareed forcing iok kujan to kiss ryuko maktoi and gave goalius a video of them married but it was all a lie and fyi all of reality was at risk because goalius was going reset all of existence with his new type powers which he gained after he was overhauled with the phenex gundam and Rita burmen soul and that is it the battle ended with goalius attacked and heavily damaged by the barbatos lupas rex and gundam gusion rebake full city and it massive pair of scissors

Just asking because in Buster and Blitz videos you added MS that share similarities with them. To clarify: One unchained mode and Awakened mode isn't the same thing, as unchained means that the 5 minute suddenly no longer exists as the machine now treats them as nothing more than a fleshy CPU for its true purpose, destroy all Newtypes. Awakened mode is when the pilot is awakened he or she's newtype capabilities and fully control the system. The unchained is just a last effort to make sure that all Newtypes were gone. Awakened mode on the other hand, allows the pilots to have the full benefits of piloting the Unicorn Gundams without the drawbacks and even enhance he or she's Newtype capabilities.
I think it should be mentioned that Unicorn is shown to go beyond the time two times: in Gundam: Beyond and in Gundam UC Testament, where it shows other gundam universes too

Unicorn Confirmed to have infinite power, absolute commandment, time manipulation (including time travel to eradicate any war, thus creating new alternate timeline), prediction and basically can destroy dimension if needed (Banagher and Mineva is considered immortal already since Unicorn gives eternal life) Fukui states that "If" Banagher chose to assimilate with Unicorn, UC will end at that time (no Turns needed) And there's 3 of them (4 if you count the copy paste G Phenex but it doesn't have original cockpit) Edit: Banshee is also confirmed to be intact and sealed in the events of Gundam NT, because for some reason it can't be destroyed
@@zethythonix The infinite power and prediction capabilities are described from the UC novels, at same point in time the Unicorn is in its Luminous Crystal phase; by prediction, this encapsulates being able to see as far as millennia into the future and also simultaneously reading the minds of every person on Earth/in the colonies surrounding (therefore, if it were to be attacked, the Unicorn would know before hand).
He will probably do the other gn gundams before he does 00 qan[t] so that won’t be in a very long with how much information needed to research also it his choice which mobile suit he does as much as I do like these videos he try’s and make it as comprehensible as possible and when going into UC psycho stuff hurts so he most likely taking a break for a while if I have to guess

@@PakornThaipituk A much better way to understand psycho frame is think of it like nanobots in a nanosuit. It is simultaneously interface and hardware itself, and it scales. It's like in Crysis 2 where the guy is getting the alien version of the nanosuit, being able to command it to do a lot of things without knowing what it really is. Hell he even turn into the suit just like Phenex.
The whole gimmck of the RX0 line is that they are entirely made with psycho frame so it shares no similarity to a keyboard.
I respect the opinion, but the presentation of UC leads to me dislike the magical feeling

Wait wait wait about creating a new dimension where have we seen unicorn create a new dimension or something that can considered a new dimension. Its more like it can travel inbetween dimensions. Something we definitely know from nu gundam as it disappeared along with char. A physical thing disappeared from the dimension of UC. And in a short lalah showed amuro other gundam dimensions and turn A gundam destroying. And luminous crystal form is when pilits soul merges with the psychoframe and it can trancend death. As we saw banager leaving his body and unicorn to see his father then return to his own body upon his decision. Which cancelled the luminous body state.

one little detail is that Kshatriya Psychoframe cockpit glow is purple but when Unicorn hacked it, it turns to red meaning Unicorn can also control other Psychoframe MS if the pilot don't have high Newtype affinities (just like Rozen Zulu got controlled by Unicorn)
also it doesn't have to be luminous crystal body (in novel it just became a new entity just like ELS QanT but still retain the MS form) to have those move, it can also destroy physical dimension or universe if there is a misstep on using perfected Unicorn, non canon wise even Turn A's MLB got psycho jacked by Nu Gundam
Also Shield can used as another Psychofield enhancer (which basically blocks beam and ballistic weapons)

O MY GOD. I always thought Phenex was the spelling of the name but the pronunciation was Phoenix and I thought it was inspire by the mythological fire bird. But I was so wrong I never knew it was actually a demon name.
Fun fact: I read the wiki and Phenex is one of the 72 demons of King Solomon. So probably there is in the Iron Blooded Orphans universe a Gundam frame name Phenex out there. I wonder how it will look like during the calamity war and after?
Didn't know there was no special explanation for why the Osychoframes emit different colors. Before I saw both Unicorn OVAs, Narrative Movie and the G-Phenex and Unicorn Perfectability. I thought it was just rule of cool and the red doesn't clash on Phenex's NTD. After seeing them I thought it had to do with the output of the NTD in relation to the dangers it has.
Red is the normal NTD configuration it offers the most balanced power to risk ratio. Allowing the pilot to get ised to the system so that inevitably the pilot could slowly get used and adapt to the system. Hopefully managing to grow enough to access the Awakened NTD.
Yellow/Orange has higher output and power than Red at the cost of higher risk. Heightening the pilot's negative aspects. Mental Instability, Aggression/Rage/Anger, Loosing Control, etc.
Blue is the strongest non Awakened/Green mode but also the most dangerous. It allows the NTD to access abilities that normally requires the unit to be in Awakened state like the ability to revert tech or weapons into parts. It however disregard the pilot's safety, putting so much strain into their Minds. Enough to kill the pilot and cause the unit to go berserk at the same time.
Green/Awakened is when the system and the Newtype/Cyber Newtype becomes fully in sync. Allowing the full potential of the system. Allows longer operational time(it os what it looks to me). Also offering the least risk to the pilot's mental well being and being the most stable.
Crystalized is when the system and pilot fully becomes one. To the point of the pilot losing his physical body. To the point of ascending into a Newtype Ghost.

In my school vr game goalius is the first unit that has all armed armour weapons and abilities like vn bs xc de and the hj ( the hj was used by him in a dual against gundam kimaris vidar and left it and it was picked up by kimaris vidar) and during the battle against the revolutionary members to rescue beal and ryuko maktoi he activities destroyer mode and ntd and used the xc to try and break ryuko maktoi from MCgalise fareed control these ended with goalius unlocked destroyer unchained mode and destroying the tallgeese 4 and melted half of the eepion gundam cockpit exposing zechs marches and escaped with de and in the second battle fyi it was neo zeon fault for sending 45 kids to the hospital and a fatui harbinger but that's not all the asw g 64 gundam flaurios was destroyed by goalius armed armour vn ripping the suit like wet paper and zeon accidentally supercharged goalius with 7 new types entering the battle and during the battle goalius activities destroyer unchained mode and created fake ultra wormholes and 2 more fake overlords of the vortex's And escaped yet again and finally he showed up ultra space and unlocked luminous crystal body mode after killing the cursed phenex a replacement of the warmth light of phenix and during that battle he absolutely demolished it and killed mask and then was stopped by ryuko maktoi after ARIANHROD FLEET found out that he was enraged by MCgalise fareed forcing iok kujan to kiss ryuko maktoi and gave goalius a video of them married but it was all a lie and fyi all of reality was at risk because goalius was going reset all of existence with his new type powers which he gained after he was overhauled with the phenex gundam and Rita burmen soul and that is it the battle ended with goalius attacked and heavily damaged by the barbatos lupas rex and gundam gusion rebake full city and it massive pair of scissors

To clarify:
One unchained mode and Awakened mode isn't the same thing, as unchained means that the 5 minute suddenly no longer exists as the machine now treats them as nothing more than a fleshy CPU for its true purpose, destroy all Newtypes. Awakened mode is when the pilot is awakened he or she's newtype capabilities and fully control the system.
The unchained is just a last effort to make sure that all Newtypes were gone. Awakened mode on the other hand, allows the pilots to have the full benefits of piloting the Unicorn Gundams without the drawbacks and even enhance he or she's Newtype capabilities.

Unicorn Confirmed to have infinite power, absolute commandment, time manipulation (including time travel to eradicate any war, thus creating new alternate timeline), prediction and basically can destroy dimension if needed (Banagher and Mineva is considered immortal already since Unicorn gives eternal life)
Fukui states that "If" Banagher chose to assimilate with Unicorn, UC will end at that time (no Turns needed)
And there's 3 of them (4 if you count the copy paste G Phenex but it doesn't have original cockpit)
Edit: Banshee is also confirmed to be intact and sealed in the events of Gundam NT, because for some reason it can't be destroyed
