Hi Great video thank you. What is the largest SD card you can install in the machine also how do you backup to the SD card as I could not find the right app
I bought the Autel ms906 with all the adapters. However even with the adapters, the scanner will not read anything before 1996 obd2! I have a 1990 obd1 Gm c1500 truck. How can I make it work to use this bidirectional scanner to do what I bought it for. Any advice will help since AUTEL basically just told me I am screwed. Please help!
some of the autel have been sitting in a warehouse for 5 years, after being built with what was already decade old components. if you buy an autel mk808, it comes with software so old you have to reset the device just to update it, and in spite of it say "NEW 2023 model!!" it still have mini usb charge port and a battery that will die in one day in standby.
I presume this does not do module programming, however, does it do coding on BMW and Porsche? I think this is based on the Autel software, which from my experience is the best on the market. Autel scanners tend to report the correct codes with the correct live data and activations that actually work. The ongoing update cost this the deal maker or breaker for me.
Personally I've used them ALL, STILL prefer my Snap-On over the competition. It loads 4x faster and is ACCURATE! Yes I know there downfall is the update costs and I totally understand that if your just a small garage or DIY guy, but if you are a shop owner that shouldn't be a deal breaker as they STILL have best customer service hands down.
the wifi 2.4 and 5 very slow ,even the RJ45 just 6mb/s, need about an hour to download the first time, and the USB3cable just can do charge, can't use to data, like VCI update, should include that., the other work like AUTEL ARE GOOD. Work very good for DIY and home mechanic, if for workshop , you need ECM code and high end CAS car security for BMW and BENZ.
Otofix im1 is more advanced, it has key programming function, but it comes without the servicing functions which you need to buy them for about $400 in order to have a full functional device.
Hopefully there's no yearly update you have to pay dearly for, that's my only complaint with my Snap-On Solus Legend Limited Edition..Nice to get ALL the free European software and also Harley Davidson motorcycles as well but costs a 2nd mortgage in update fee's.
Sorry wasn’t able to finish watching. Would this be able to read live data ecu? Coding? I want to use this tool for buy and selling and atleast see milage tampering
I bought this device few months ago. It is a garbage device. I bought it and I was shocked that it doesn't have the most basic live data information, such as LONG TERM FUEL TRIM & SHORT TERM FUEL TRIM It has been two months of Contracting the dealer, and they believe that the issue comes from my car, not from the device Very bad experience.
Sorry guys, it turns out that the issue was coming from my own car, as it doesn't support many basic functions I will have to delete my previous comment
My god all these ridiculous unrelated questions in the comment section. If you cant do simple google search to find the answers to your questions and are asking in the comment section of video that isnt related to your question even then im sorry but there is no hope for you.
Do the D1 and the IM1 have the same diagnostics capabilities?
Hi Would you recommend this or the iCarsoft max

Is it a better choice than the Launch x431 CRP919E BT?

What are the main differences between this device and AUTEL mp808bt ?
some of the autel have been sitting in a warehouse for 5 years, after being built with what was already decade old components. if you buy an autel mk808, it comes with software so old you have to reset the device just to update it, and in spite of it say "NEW 2023 model!!" it still have mini usb charge port and a battery that will die in one day in standby.
The company says that updates are free for one year and you have to pay after that to use it. The updates are pretty expensive.
The annual update cost is €169 approximately £140
You might as well update the unit for the same price and get an additional 2 years subscription
Updates are not expensive for this unit and this is powered by Autel £750 to update my Autel pro for 1 year this tool is is less than half the price
How does this compare to the Autel Maxi-Check?... seems to me they pretty much do the same thing except one is much more less expensive than the other
it is the biggest rip of it, they havent even bothered to chage the graphics or fonts in the menus.
@@canoaslan1011 how is it a ripoff? otofix is made by autel.

Module programming I only trust INPA or ISTA - P tbh, but this piece of kit can do so many basic coding such as lights, injectors, seats, etc

you dont have to pay for the update unless you want up to date software or additions for newer cars. Still functions as normal!
Does it have to stay conneted to wifi to work or?
No, only if you need to lookup for something over the internet
supports Bmw X5 E70?
There's a charging port on top of this tool but you couldn't show in video.
