Decent enough, nice shuffle rhythm, great solo's. Ian is singing in a suitable key for his voice so no complaints on that score even if can't get the high notes anymore.
Yeah Pete , he definitely has to have in a lower register , but better that then trying for high notes and butchering it lol I’m glad he accepts his limitations, he still sounds really good I think , pretty solid bluesy rock song , I think will be a solid record 🤘🏻
@@CB-xr1eg Everyo9ne is entitled to their opinion and they don't need to be cut down because they disagree. I agree, the guitar doesn't cut anywhere close to Ritchie. I can't understand the lyrics either. Ian was always known for singing clearly. The vocal needs to be turned up and they need Ritchie back. He's got a great dramatic quality that no one else can match.
@@TheJoan48 Well then you should get onto the record company immediately and inform them of their shortcomings. I'm sure they won't laugh you out of the door, not straightaway, they may give you a coffee first. 1/ The guitar isn't supposed to be like Ritchie's sound 2/ Gillan's lyrics are fine and audible. He's not going to be singing like was in his 20s 3/They don't want or need Ritchie back. That would just disrupt the band again. It's high time people accepted the fact that Deep Purple can and do, function perfectly well, even better, without Mr Blackmore. My guess is that he misses them more than they miss him. He left in 93 and he's not coming back...get over it!
Just a bloody good song. I’m looking really forward to new album. 2024 could turn out to be a golden year for Deep Purple. 😁🤘
@@kasperkjrsgaard1447 agreed, I think the new album is gonna be solid , I’ll defy review it when it comes out , cheers 🍻 🤘🏻
One of the best songs from them in years.
I love Lazy Sod....so happy now!!!
Old Deep purple is back🤩
Great tune. Love the lyrics too. Every song I've heard from this album is great.
@@chrismorgan7494 should be a solid rock album , looking forward to it 🤘🏻
@@metalmusicmeltdown Me too. Simon McBride is a perfect fit as well.
DEEP PURPLE SIGUE SORPRENDIENDO, ETERNOS!!!
Great to see them back ,They gave us so much in the early years .And still sound great even in there 70's .
Nice, sweet and short with a catchy riff. It needs airtime to be a mega hit.
Whenever I hear Deep Purple, I get transported back to "Farmers Daughter".
Anyone's Daughter ?!...what dya think of that ?!😂

SUPER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To think Perfect Strangers was a comeback album for DP 40 years ago!
Very nice reaction man! -Really liked that track myself... Liked the break that Don Airey had on the keys before they went back to the verse again. 😎
Yeah, I really dig the song too should be a strong rock record , looking forward to hearing whole thing 🤘🏻
@@metalmusicmeltdown Yeah! So do I... I will play it in its full when released for sure. 🙂
GREAT STUFF!!
the album doesn't have a bad song on it , Simon is a beast on the guitar , great fit for them !

Yip
Sounds like "DEEP PURPLE"...a truly great band.
Compare this to the shite they call music now
Wish they found Simon before Steve way better fit hands down !!
Yawn .. should be titled Old Sod (solo very UN-Blackmore like)
Maybe that's because he's NOT Blackmore and he doesn't want to sound like a clone?
Go play Machine Head and re-live your youth.

Sono stati una grande band ma adesso sono alla frutta stanno diventando penosi non si può vivere di nostalgia meglio la pensione
Not sure what you mean by "broke", but they're not, not in any way whatsoever.
