I love the musician's reaction on the left when Corey switches to the "Bach sound". It's as if something Ancestral has been awakened in him that he resonated with instantly. He felt that in his Soul... lol Brilliant!
I first saw Corey play when he was 3yrs old and it was obvious then that he would be an accomplished keyboardist. It is a joy to see how far God has brought him,. Great video.
The greatest keyboard solo. Easily the best and least argued with title for a clip. LOL. I don't even have an idea where to learn lines like this and I've been playing 20 years.
Yes we understand the struggle musicians go through thus many change genres just to get more bookings and airplay. But mannnn, I miss this Cory. This is the one the world n million viewers fell in love with. Please hear our heart's cry, we need our Cory back😭😭😭
you're stuck in a rut, but you don't know it, you exist on routines and habits without real eyes, without realizing it, and then boom this syncopated groove, polyrhythms shake your boots, destroying your post-modern slumber, dumps a load of wonderment on your synapsis forcing you to questions the boundaries, the shackles placed on your perceptions. Music like this should come with a health warning, too much of what does you good, can wake you, rock you, and woke you, as sure as any other kind of drug. Trippy.

one of the hippest kids merging gospel, fusion, jazz, and classical stylings... but will he find a genuine black-classical (jazz) voice, like McCoy or Herbie....or go on to MD n do gigs n churches etc... perhaps he needs a 'Miles' figure to take him to the final level... he could definitely breathe that air... where are all the muthafucking bandleaders these days...?
I’d never miss service if Cory was my church’s organist
I would actually start going back to church❤❤❤❤
@@Eph2.8-9what
I’ve watched the original Lingus solo one hundred times. Still gives me the chills
amateur numbers
I'm right up there with you. You should watch his church stuff.

Why did he stop and what did he diverge into?

This was his most innovative period
he's back, there are new Snarky Puppy videos and he is the special guest
For this guy, there's literally nothing to play again😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Well edited. Exciteable camera. Nice subtitles. Love the infectious energy.
Saw him last week in London - solo piano tour. what a performance.

To be fair, in no.11, Shaun absolutely wiped the floor on Cory
fell in love with cory today lol, wish i could drum with him, dudes an actual rockstar, self made genius
Este man esta en su propia liga, creo que de esta generacion es lo mejor que e visto.
I had the pleasure of sitting 3m away from Cory at Ronnie Scott’s doing his revival show with Isiah Sharkey and Taron Locket! My word amazing!
Shaun Martins reactions add so much to the solos
For this guy, I dnt think he goes best mode. He stays beasting
Melvin Crispell TRIBUTE!!
Feels like Sunday everytime I hear him play.
6:23 yet another priceless shaun reaction haha
Holyy, he did reference Mezzoforte - Nightfall at the end of Bach-style solo at 1:11 :D
10 times? When does he ever, NOT, go beast mode? As it pertains to creativity, he never disappoints 🔥 thx.
Lol i have watched all these a while i Can give 100 exemples of Cory henry going really on beast mode
I know right 🤣
U mean each and every time he plays?
The Intro to the Lingus solo always reminds me of the Ghost n Ghouls old arcade game
I can thoroughly recommend The Revival album. It’s my favourite of his. Good mixture of gospel, jazz and pop.
He just steps Snarky Puppy into a new a level when he plays with them. Which is really saying something for how high quality a band they are.
❤#2 😮 0:26 Cory, Cory, Cory. Jesus!!!!!! 12:35!! Priceless!!! LOL what a way to show us how it’s to b done!!!
1:51 part was sick
May I be an instrumentalists that when ever I play the crown comes around 🙌😭
The Giant Steps solo surprised me because they changed the soloing form to something modal and slower paced.

You forgot purple rain
TEN times? Cory LIVES at the corner of Beast Ave and Monster Boulevard....
Wao. It is definitely not a love or sad song. Then wtf it is?
happy song?
nice compilation. unfortunately, sound is terrifically bad.
I mean, not his fault
Man, look at those huge crowds of at least 10 people!!!! Seriously, nobody cares.
Snarky sold out Royal Albert hall. Also the popularity of a band doesn't determine their talent and dedication to good music, obviously
@@georgerussell2947 - Lmfao. Guy's playing in coffee shops and 100-seat churches.
