I am and I am from the 50, 60 and 70dys and I play Bass, I really love this type of music. Cory Henry did an awesome job on Marvin Gaye's What's Going On INDEED.
The sound engineers on this project are JUST as important as the musicians and vocalists. Big ups to all of the sound engineers out there who are like an extension of us musicians’ passion-the pulse that pumps our blood through the audience.
Amen. Whoever mic’d those drums and mixed everything down needs a pay rise. The reverb on vocals, keys, guitar, drums and bass are all different. Perfect balance. Nice bottom end on the vocals, still kept the vocals out front, while still sharing the 10k-20k hertz.
