      I feel the same way. I actually just finished the show and I was crying away. I don't know what to believe but I felt the emotion, what they were saying. You would believe them until they say something else. It's just crazy but overall the best people to play those killer brothers

    Nicholas deserves more praise for his portrayal of Lyle, his acting skills are phenomenal. Since his character is less sympathetic than Erik it requires a great talent to not make it one dimensional and he achieved it

      He is also great in Grotesquerie. Heavy emotional acting does fool the body. When an actor is in the part, the body doesn't know it's pretending and all the physical effects of heavy emotions are present. So back to back heavy dramatic works might make an actor seem more solemn than typical. This is a serious interview of a serious nature. If the brothers were sisters, would they still be in prison?

Retelling a real life tragedy, then going so heavy-handed with certain implications, especially considering both brothers are married to women and have denied that that was ever the reality of their relationship, as trauma bonded brothers, seems like poor taste on the creators part, imo.

    100% at the time it was unimagineable that a father could be so cruel and disgusting by raping his male children. And people also had a hard time believing that a mother could turn a blind eye to her kids being sexually abused. But you only need to go back and look at their tesmonies in court and you can clearly see, that Erik & Lyle are telling the truth. It's heart wrenching to watch them. Yes, they did deserve to go to prison for what they did but for manslaughter and not 1st degree murder. They need to be released. They should have been released long ago.

No cars no beautiful house, that’s what was important to her to keep us in this beautiful home, to act like it was ok..but it wasn’t ok.. I wish she would have said NO!       I watched this series and it was heartbreaking, when you have been abused you know when someone is telling the truth, these guys are honestly telling the horrible truth

    Regardless of how accurate Lyle was "portrayed" Nicholas Chavez absolutely shined, he has star power, I bet he goes on to big things. He'd play an incredible Patrick Bateman in a prequel/sequel/remake or if Ryan Murphy did Bateman as a character in the next season of AHS. Like if you agree. 👍

    These two guys proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are some top tier actors and masters of their craft. No joke, whatever your opinion on the show and the real life brothers is, they portrayed such excellent characters and did such an incredible job. Idk if Netflix shows can earn awards, but they BOTH deserve Emmy’s

    This kind of experimenting is unseen, especially the episode 5, done in single shot. Truly amazing, the emotions. Cooper Koch's performance is unbelievable. I have not seen any actor taking this great a challenge.

    They are both great actors and handsome! 👏 Cooper seems to enjoy the whole experience way more than Nicholas does. In another interview Nicholas said he's ready to move on to his next role.

      I think it’s because of all the backlash he has been getting for the portrayal of Lyle. But as an actor that isn’t his fault because it is the director and writers responsible for his portrayal. It’s very clear the real brothers want nothing to do with Nicolas which I’m sure is very uncomfortable and unfortunate the fact it’s public as well. I think everyone should remember the show isn’t 100% accurate to the real events. Whether that is right or wrong it’s up to everyone else to decide.

    I’ve never heard of Nicholas before this show…but damn he is such AN INCREDIBLE actor. My god he brought so much raw intensity to the table through it this show, despite this show painting the brothers in such a bad light.. which I myself don’t appreciate.i couldn’t even tear my eyes away whenever Nicholas was on screen. He needs to be casted in more intense roles like this one.

    I just finished watching this show, and holy hell it was a roller coaster, mind blowing! the different perceptions, the acting, the scenes, and the emotions felt so real. all of it, the show was over the top. I just can't wait for the next season of Monsters. I loved all their work done towards these show. Had me shedding tears..the actors had done their magic wonderfully. The producers seriously got to be my favorites. Big round applause gossh! 🎃

    I'm calling this now: This show is going to receive an award NOMINATION!!!!! These guys WENT OFF IN THIS NETFLIX SERIES!!! BRAVO!!! And my money is on Nicholas Alexander Chavez - he was BRILLIANT!!! Cooper Koch as well, I mean it can go either way. But this is a Blockbuster!!! I've been binge watching all weekend.     Episode 5, is why I want to call him "Super Cooper". I've been a fan of Nicholas Alexander Chavez since General Hospital. He's wiser than his birth certificate and just as sweet.
    When he opens up, it's intentional, not just jovial jibber jabber. I admire a man that can listen well and consider his words carefully. He probably picked it up during his years on the speech and debate team.

    Love the actors' responses. They are being respectful and honest about true events and the brothers they are protraying, vs what's being dramatized in the show.
    I don't watch the mini series, not a fan of Hollywood's over dramatization of real events with subtexts, but knowing about it did help me find out more about the real events.
    I am supporting the Menendez brothers' release and I wish them the best of life with their families.

    I remember this when it happened. But I always believed that if this was sisters and not brothers, they would have never been convicted. Please look at the facts of this case and think about this. They were kids, but I do believe the abuse was real. Time have changed and they have served so many years.
