I know what cast iron is. I was probably being somewhat sarcastic because you never know what quality of cast iron you’re going to get when you order those finials. It’s also called it a “Wrought Iron railing” in the title and the railing is made 100% of steel and cast iron. 😂
I do have an easy railing job coming up that I can video. I cheat and use drafting software since I totally forget trigonometry. Did you want to see how to do it the hard way or easy way?
I have used cardboard patterns but now that I remember the efficiency of CAD, no. It’s so easy to draw the stairs and rail on CAD and dimension it on the computer.
