Hi guys! As far as fastfood is concerned, you guys might enjoy Army Navy. They have a variety of dishes that both meat lovers and vegetarians will enjoy. I think they have discontinued fish fillet in McDonalds here bec it wasn’t as popular (but they should make a comeback again). They do make an appearance every Lent.
Hey!👋Oh we haven’t seen Army Navy yet. I’ll try to find one in the city once we get back. Thanks for the suggestion! You’re awesome! Yeah, other people have said the same thing about the fish fillet being discontinued here. Such a bummer but no problem at all. We were so desperate to eat anything.lol. We had 4 hangry people in one car🤣😂🤦♀️
Shakeys and Burger King too now offer some vegetarian food & drinks but fish fillet is not for Vegetarian right coz im vegetarian too but I don't eat fish or seafood anymore. It's for Pescatarian when u can't eat meat but u can eat fish & veggies.
Welcome my friend! Thanks for being here🙏We appreciate it! Isn’t the Villa so dreamy?! It was nice getting away from the city and just being in the quiet🇵🇭Another beautiful part of the Philippines🫶
At least in the Philippines is the same in the US that they drive at the right side of the road, it's just the way people drive there is different they don't follow traffic rules.
Yeah. True. We see Hertz everywhere we travel. It’s very convenient but can definitely be pricey depending which country you’re in. This was actually a good deal for the SUV we got. Plus they gave us a new rental SUV which is unheard of. We got so lucky👏👏👏👏
Sadly, McDonald’s PH had phased out Fish Fillet a long time ago. It’s also one of my favorites, especially during the Holy Week when meat is not allowed (if you’re practising abstinence).
Soon, Even our Iconic Jeepneys that will be My Childhood Memory in the decade 2040s, will be Fully Upgraded, into the Same Iconic Jeepney, but with Higher Ceiling, and Modern, as well as first-World, and Provisions for a Electric, and Driverless Jeepney Features, as well as Tagalog's Latin Writing System will be also Phased Out, as it will be replaced by Baybayin, and by Year 2049, Non-Driverless Vehicles will be Obsolete, and Phased out by Law, this is Because our old Jeepneys are now Becoming Obsolete.
I'm from Manila and i moved to the States a while back. I'm an ok driver in Manila but driving in US gives me serious anxiety. I am at peace when i drive in the organized chaos of Manila traffic but in here i have to actually care about traffic rules because cops lmao
I just read another comment with the same info. Oh my gosh, I had no idea that waze works here. In fact after leaving California I deleted app because I figured it was just used in the states🙈I just downloaded the app again🤦♀️😆
Nope, Waze will definitely get you lost or will choose a longer route. Take my word for it. We, as a fam, almost always travel on weekends. My wife has an IPhone and only has Waze while I have an android phone and so I use Google Maps. We went to La Union in the north, Waze gave her a route that'll take 7 hours. Google Maps gave us only a 5.5 hours ride.
6:25 #MomDutyFamily I really hope You can buy someday a latest #CadillacEscalade #GMCYukon or #ChevySuburban coz these SUV's really suited to You Guyz wherever you travel here in the Philippines. Keep on Vlogging and God Bless always . . .
I wish!🤞🤪I really would love to make BGC our home base. I absolutely love it here! And having a car has been so convenient and helpful. But grab is also super affordable and easy to use except during the holidays because they’re so busy🤷♀️😆
I think the McDonalds Fillet-o-Fish Sandwich is only available during the Lenten Season, or at least started as such. Same with the Tuna Pie in Jollibee until the latter made it available all year round.
Of course I’m not in a position to say if you should have taken the expressway SLEX and CALAX, and a side tour to scenic Tagaytay on your way to Nasugbu, but I would have chosen that over busy, chaotic Aguinaldo Highway. Something to consider on your way back. Enjoy the countryside.
You are so right! Although this was supposed to be a faster route it was definitely a noisier one🤦♀️lol. Definitely going through CALAX expressway on the way back or going to take a day and visit Tagaytay. So many of you have recommended it.

Great video, amazing view, delicious food and interesting explanation. I like food Philippines is Adoba, Halo Halo, Kwek Kwek, Kare Kare, Pancit, Chicken Inasal, Kinilaw, Kamaro, Lumpia and Bulalo. I like tourist place in Philippines is Boracay, Banaue, Coron, Mayon, Apo, Taal, El Nido, Siargao, Pinatubo, Chocolate Hills, Mactan, Kawasan, Caramoan, Cambugahay, Tumalog, Oslob, Pagudpud, Kapurpurawan Rock, Tinago, Hinagdanan and Maria Christina. I not born in Philippines but I know about food & places in Philippines. How can I find out? Because I not only visited but also studied and remembered what was there.
lmao I'm guessing you filmed this before reading my comment on your last video, you were able to pass by Okada Manila which was the casino with the large indoor fountain and light show that I recommended, just a short drive would be the Mall of Asia which I'm sure you guys would be able to see from there too since its very huge. Have safe travels!! ✨
I remember!!! Ok so we got lost many times driving from Manila to Nasugbu. At one exit we saw Okada Mall. We were like, ‘is this the place that was recommended to us?’ I didn’t realize it was that close to us from Taguig. Also, I thought it was a huge mall. Totally forgot it was a resort. Hope we have time to see it on our drive back.
@@MomDuty in general, BGC is close to many iconic places in Manila, its close to the Manila Bay (and the Dolomite beach) Rizal Park, Intramuros (the historic spanish walled city), Mall of Asia, Star City (amusement park), etc. that's why its easy to go from place to place there
YES! That’s why I really love BGC. The location! It’s in the middle of it all. Now that we’re exploring the outskirts, I can finally see how close everything is. It’s great!👌I guess that’s why we keep extending our stay in the city and haven’t gone island hopping yet🤣🏝🇵🇭

My babies are very lucky. I keep reminding them. What we’re doing as a family is so special. The learning that’s up-close and personal is something that none of us will ever forget🙏🌎
U should have taken the real south Luzon expressway then skyway upto Alabang then continue until Mamplasan exit then from there There's CALAX, Cavite-Laguna Expressway it ends on Silang, just continue upto Tagaytay, that's called Tagaytay-Sta.Rosa Highway. Uve taken the Cavite route, where there's non stop stoplights, the South Luzon Expressway has Gasoline Stations with McDonald's, etc (Petron), then Caltex (McDonald's, & other restos). Anyway u can try it next time u go back or when u go back from Tagaytay to Manila, take that route & maybe pass by Nuvali, Ayala Malls on the way, there's many more u can pass by and stop by as compared to the Cavite Route. Cavite route is complete chaos, I promised myself will not use it after travelling from Tagaytay by bus to Manila. SLEX is way way way way better specially SKYWAY, CALAX, all expressways if u used that route.
You are sooooo right! When we visited to Tagaytay we saw the other highway. We will definitely take that route next time. I bet it’s more scenic too. Anyways, thank you so much for the tip! Merry Christmas my friend!🎄❤️🇵🇭
@@MomDuty yes it's more scenic starting from Alabang area upto Tagaytay. U will see more trees, greeneries, modern villages, It's the opposite of the Cavite Route I would say. Plus Cavite routes pass by towns while the other one pass by but via expressway but is right outside so it doesn't get this chaotic plus motorbikes below 400cc and tricycles, people aren't allowed on expressway, only cars, vehicles and big bikes (400cc) which is not as common as this small motorbikes which is making it super chaotic..plus u can't really stop in d middle of skyway or expressway unless it's an emergency or there's a gasoline station to refill, it in, etc. Im Sorry im just advicing u to choose or research first the easiest, most efficient way to use for long travel, it saves u more energy, time, money & stress specially for the kids. Thank u for always replying. Im Rooting for ur fam!!! Waiting for another vlogs. U could also ask via ur vlog for more tips and advices. I'd follow ur IG so I'd be updated real time too. Merry Christmas, brace yourself to Philippines Christmas Rush and Traffic specially in Metro Manila. Plus it's safer in expressway than national highways. Always safer when there is less or no crowd.
There are rules and many were actually copied from the US like the road signs, rules and progressive violations. The problem is: the Land Transportation Office (LTO) conducts seminar and driving tests when getting the license, they are not strict. I noticed that your kids wore seat belts while sitting at the back. That’s remarkable since in the Philippines, only the driver and front passenger are required to wear seat belts. Those at the back don’t do it.
I’ve been seeing that here. Driving rules are not strict here like in the US. Do they give out driving/parking/speeding tickets here like in the US? Oh yeah, we MUST all wear seatbelts in US. The seatbelt laws and children car seats are very strict in US. Many countries we visit have cars/shuttles/transportation with no seatbelts at all.
Yup 7-11s. May want to download GCash and load 10K onto it. Almost all merchants accept Gcash. I use that to pay for all utilities, load my RFIDs, pay a sari sari store, pay a man who sells buko or your groceries. It's more widely used than credit cards.
I think maybe you should go to Mindoro province if you are willing to go there thats where i live but i have face to face classes now so me and my mom had to move here in Manila If you are going to go to Mindoro the only transportation to go there is a boat so i think that’s the only way but yeah my mom and Lola are doctors and I’m 10 we like to travel a lot but when Covid-19 came we couldn’t go outside our homes in Manila so we left Manila and we moved in my Lola and Lolo’s house now we can go to resorts in Mindoro and if you are going to Mindoro when the boat has went to Mindoro the first place you will be in is calapan we also have a house there so there are no taxis pr any transportation but the motorcycle and cars if you bring a car but if there are many resorts and restaurants so if you want examples buyayao island it’s not going to be a beautiful island if you don’t swim or have goggles and flippers for swimming and there is infinity it is a resort with only rivers and if not swimming there are many many resorts
Thank you so much for sharing! Wow! Love your story. I just looked up Mindoro and saw that it’s a BIG island south of us. Wow! The pictures of Calapan are beautiful! The waterfalls, greenery and landscape! Would love to see it in person one day🤞🇵🇭
I usually only eat sushi but when I’m in need of protein and can’t find tofu, I’ll eat fish fillet. Fish is my last resort….but it’s good for me. So you’re right, I should consider myself a pescatarian🐠

Rey, you’re right! I learned something new today. Toyota Innova is considered an MPV because of the flat folding seats, it’s got 3 rows of seats and fits up to 8 people. I didn’t know the difference🙈Thanks for teaching me though👍In the US, we would refer to these type of family cars as SUV’s.

Whoa😲😲😲-😃😃😃Good job💙🇵🇭❤️🇬🇺
Haha! We made it!👨👩👧👦 🚙💨
looks like it was worth the hectic journey
Exactly my friend!💯 Sooooo worth it to arrive at this hidden gem that’s in the middle of the jungle🌴🇵🇭
I love the villa .. new here thank you for blogging ❤ 🇵🇭
Yessssss! Very true☝️Glad we both drive on the same side of the road.
BEAUTIFUL VILLA🏆🏆🏆🔥🔥🔥👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Right?! It’s soooo quiet and peaceful. All you can hear are birds chirping in the morning while we drink coffee. Looooove it🧘♀️🧘
I remember renting at Hertz in San Diego, Hertz is a good company and good service, but they're kind expensive.
Yeah. True. We see Hertz everywhere we travel. It’s very convenient but can definitely be pricey depending which country you’re in. This was actually a good deal for the SUV we got. Plus they gave us a new rental SUV which is unheard of. We got so lucky👏👏👏👏
Wow 🤩, gorgeous house 🏠
Sadly, McDonald’s PH had phased out Fish Fillet a long time ago. It’s also one of my favorites, especially during the Holy Week when meat is not allowed (if you’re practising abstinence).
I was so bummed to here that they don’t offer it here. But it’s ok I still ordered their yummy fries🤤🍟

I think you forgot to mention what province or city you went, nice to know where those places are located, for us to visits them too.
Oh I’m sorry🙈We visited Nasugbu, Batangas and Tagaytay, Cavite. Both beautiful provinces! Great escapes always from the city🇵🇭
I'm from Manila and i moved to the States a while back. I'm an ok driver in Manila but driving in US gives me serious anxiety. I am at peace when i drive in the organized chaos of Manila traffic but in here i have to actually care about traffic rules because cops lmao
True. You gotta always be careful in the states. Lots of traffic violation fines can get expensive🙈
That villa... ♥️♥️♥️
Right?!😱it’s a hidden gem in the middle of a jungle🌴🇵🇭🫶🫶🫶
I'm not sure if you're using Waze to navigate -- it's every Filipino driver's best friend :)
Just Subscribed for you journey. be safe. Prof driver is safe in metro manila.
Thank you for following us along on our spontaneous family journey! We appreciate you being here🥹🫶
I think the McDonalds Fillet-o-Fish Sandwich is only available during the Lenten Season, or at least started as such.
Oh ok. Thanks for sharing! Someone else mentioned it was discontinued in 2021🙈Hopefully it comes back for me🤪
You are so right! Although this was supposed to be a faster route it was definitely a noisier one🤦♀️lol. Definitely going through CALAX expressway on the way back or going to take a day and visit Tagaytay. So many of you have recommended it.
you're such a hilarious family!!!
Haha! Thank you!!!! We love messing around with each other and having fun😛🤪🤘We’re a very silly family as you can see🤣
pH got advanced tollways system and excellent roads/ highways with proper pavement markings, traffic lights etc

Yes! Yes! Yes! The roads are great! All clean, perfectly marked and easy to follow. We safely made it to our destination🙏🇵🇭
Wow! You know so much about the Philippines! Did you live here also before you studied? Which part of Indonesia are you from? 🇮🇩
0:09 Manila Philippines Driving 🇵🇭
We were so lost🙈
lmao I'm guessing you filmed this before reading my comment on your last video, you were able to pass by Okada Manila which was the casino with the large indoor fountain and light show that I recommended, just a short drive would be the Mall of Asia which I'm sure you guys would be able to see from there too since its very huge.
You're joining in the freaking "carmageddon" lol!😜😂
Lol! I’m dying right now🤣🤣😂😭😭😭 ‘carmageddon!’ So funny!!!
Very nice Villa but where and whats the name of it, twas a bummer was never mentioned. You guys create funny vids, kids are hilarious and entertaining, mom and dad so natural, if uou guys could share the villa’s name would be very helpful, thanks!
Thank you so much for the nice words! You’re awesome!!!! I’m so glad you enjoy watching our lil family vlogs🙏Means so much to us!😭🇵🇭 Oh right! Yes on Instagram you can find the villa under: @la.nuvola

I think you took the cavite route. You should have taken the south expressway.
they took the ternate-nasugbu road which is scenic route going to batangas.if they went to slex that route will see them going through sta rosa laguna then tagaytay down to nasugbu batangas.
Yeah we went the noisier way🙈I should’ve ask all of you first.lol.
We’re going to visit Tagaytay and take this route on the way back. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s so helpful!
love your vlog .. So funny but traffic is not fun at all.
Thank you so much!!! That was a fun road trip🤦♀️🤣The drive was smooth sailing but yeah, Nelvine had to really pay attention during his drive. He couldn’t take his eyes off the road at all.
First time to experience "create your own lane method" 😆
Lol!😆You have me rolling and laughing out loud over here with Nelvine😭😭😭😭That’s soooo true!!!!lol. 🚙 💨
@@MomDuty you see a space then create your own lane 🤣🤣🤣
So true!😭Now I know what you mean😭🤣🤣
@@germboy007 Unless u wanna pay a heptic fine and having a foreign license..pls. do not create a lane.
@@miguelfrayna7151 of course they wont do that its common sense, we are just joking around do they look like the people who would do that
coordinated chaos or organized chaos hahaha thats it. be alert on driving phils those motorcycles. go with the flow guys❤ explore
Yes! It’s crazy to see how chaotic the driving is but everyone seems to know what to do. We haven’t seen one accident. It’s unbelievable👌
🤣... Good luck your trip...ENJOY then.

I just googled her up and WOW!😲she’s beautiful (AND talented!!!) Thank youuuuuu! I will take it!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
You drove through the city of Imus in Cavite. I grew up there.
No way! Ahhh we passed you then🥰
@@MomDuty My wife and I live in Laguna Hills, CA but my mom still lives in Imus. We went home last September 2022 for a vacation.
@@MomDuty Watching your videos makes me homesick. I am happy you are all enjoying your stay there. It's more fun in the Philippines!
Ahhh Laguna Hills, I know exactly where that is. Hope California is treating you well and that the sun in shining!☀️🇺🇸
Awww come back and visit! Philippines misses you🇵🇭🥹😭
I'm just wondering about the kids studies. Are they self-studying or they've got tutors?
They’re home-schooled👍👌I should say they’re “world-schooling” 📚🌍💻
@@MomDuty Oh wow. I envy them. Studying while travelling around the world.
Driving here in the Philippines is crazy it's like there's no rules here first come first serve lol nice Villa Happy Holidays 🎄🦌🦌⛄🆒😎🎅🎅🤶
Exactly!!! We just learned this🙈🤣lol.
There are rules of the road in the Philippines. The problem is, they're treated more as guides rather than actual rules.
Ooooh I see. So no consequences if they aren’t followed?
I’ve been seeing that here. Driving rules are not strict here like in the US. Do they give out driving/parking/speeding tickets here like in the US? Oh yeah, we MUST all wear seatbelts in US. The seatbelt laws and children car seats are very strict in US. Many countries we visit have cars/shuttles/transportation with no seatbelts at all.
I LOVE THE VIDS ねい
Thank you sooooo much Audrina!!!🙏😭🇵🇭🫶
🥰🥰🇵🇭
Hello Edgar! 👋 Love seeing you here🫶
I think your rented card has a RFID for both Autosweep/ETC and Easytrip, just make to reload it before entering a toll both.
Ooooh. Got it! We didn’t realize how convenient it would’ve been to use RFID. How do I reload it?
@@MomDuty goto a 7 11 and reload it. ask for the account numbers
Yup 7-11s. May want to download GCash and load 10K onto it. Almost all merchants accept Gcash. I use that to pay for all utilities, load my RFIDs, pay a sari sari store, pay a man who sells buko or your groceries. It's more widely used than credit cards.
it has. i think I saw it on their windshield.
Ok great to know. Thank you so much! It’s very helpful!
Does the price for the rent of the car was reasonable?
It does for the size of the SUV. It’s a big one.
Do you know of a more affordable price somewhere else?
@@MomDutyYou can try another reliable rent a car in Manila, AVIS rent a car. They have a good fleet of vehicles and cheaper than Hertz.
@@MomDutyAVIS is a US based company with operations in PH for decades. My cousins fr US tried it before and it was okay.

Would love to see it in person one day🤞🇵🇭
Maybe u meant Pescatarian, coz vegetarians doesn't eat Fish unless McDonald's now serve vegan based fish fillet.
I usually only eat sushi but when I’m in need of protein and can’t find tofu, I’ll eat fish fillet. Fish is my last resort….but it’s good for me. So you’re right, I should consider myself a pescatarian🐠

In the US, it's still called an SUV.
