    Mental health should become the priority of society. The world should belong to those who suffer from mental health issues.. They are the mirrors of what is wrong with our society. Thank you

    Thank you Lauren and Rob. You are spot on. Struggling with mental illness is exacerbated due to stigma, perception and ignorance. This also makes it so difficult to allow and trust others to support me in my struggle. I tend to isolate myself, knowing that this aggrevates my situation but not willing to take the risk. It is such a lonely and hopeless struggle. Thank you for these insightful and motivational videos. Much appreciated. ❤❤

    Here in Germany there is an increasing group of young people in society that works as little as possible and spends the rest of their time experiencing life in meaningful and joyful „togetherness“. The older generation seems quite puzzled about this.

    Your "true colours" are beautiful, in my opinion, Lauren - and I say that as someone who's almost old enough to be your Mom (& I happen to live in the same city). Although I have no connections with Schizophrenia or "mental illness," I find the topics of discussion between the two of you to be very interesting and relevant to a wider audience - in particular right now as I'm "going through some heavy stuff."

    Good launch of "Living Well with Mental Illness." ...Thought-provoking, as the landscape changes from diminished supports of 'nearby' community and family. I like the idea of 'sportsing' and doing other work toward new ways of community-building to avoid isolation and perceived ostracism.

    They’re also calling and seperating health .... in weird and dumb ways
    To thrive full of love joy/etc is all inclusive mental, physical, sexual and spiritual it all matters
    Find what your system needs and balance your life to find what/why you’re scared or depressed malnourished or anything
    The kind of religion or relationships you’re into or not to live with what makes you unique is what will make you happy

    I used to live in a house community of roommates and families in various apartments. Now I live by myself but still take part in the community.

    It is more than therapy and antipsychotics. It is much more than that. Spot on👌 It is a social crime👹

      Its also a spiritual one
      Religion and anti religion counter rotating the actual logic of our systems and how dogmatic and karmic cycles continue even when you don’t know about it

    Is masturbation a symptom of bad mental health. Please talk about it🙏 The western medical encyclopedia doesn't talk about it

    • @gigahorse1475
      @gigahorse1475 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, I’m pretty sure that’s normal. I think it used to be correlated or associated with serious mental illness (old time doctors used to think masturbation caused “insanity”), but that’s probably only because people with serious mental illness are more likely to do that in inappropriate settings. That’s just my theory, though.

      @GigaHorse But masturbation is a symptom of improper brain development which can later cause mental illness. It is antisocial and need to be treated. The medical world calls it normal but it is not. It sure is a sign of distress

      If it's excessive to the point of addiction it could be damaging. There are lots of videos on TH-cam about this.
