Thanks for being honest and transparent. You’re not alone on these issues. I’ve had issues with other companies and TH-camrs as well. You may or may not know them or done business with them. To rebut Breda panel’s “youtubers have no privileges” there’s one who is a friend of an exec of a distributor company who gets privilege quality service over fans like us. I’m subs on that content creator’s channel as well lol!
The second Lael got loud, clapping hands and cussing…I knew he was lying and going into emotional defense-mode. It’s a common trait for liars attempting to defend their lies “ten toes down” 🙄
Dude; I sincerely appreciate the honesty. I was one of the customers that bought/paid for the 89 BW/BM. And yes, the prices are high for said products considering the quality control and/or lack thereof on the aspects of production - especially considering the BW; why did I have shell out another 500+ to be able to mount such a big piece? Yet we get a spindle with the BM that most will probably never use yet the BW is 3k+ w/ shipping. I can also understand where you are coming from regarding the “shill” aspect of things - I myself grew up dirt poor and I’m a car guy - two things that don’t mix at all. I shill’ed for BMW for over 2 decades (especially considering the price of entry for a ///M car - I’ve only had ///M cars from the Brand) and had to come to the reality that their production F’n sucks and becomes evident after 40k miles/BM-TroubleYou. In the span of that 2 decades I wrongfully shat on other car manufacturers because I was a complete sheep/fan boy - I lost the ability to have my own opinion on certain topics and let the manufacturer dictate my senses of sight/smell/hearing/thought. I haven’t had social media since 08’ as I could already see the toxicity in it and needed to run away from that - I applaud you man; you are saying things that need to be said - F everyone who can’t maintain an un-biased opinion; keep on the path you are on. You won’t achieve massive wealth but you also won’t lose yourself/identity in trying to make a living/expressing your opinions on something you are passionate about
Thats what most important to me is my integrity and honesty. Im not perfect I dont pretend to be and I know my delivery is straight forward and could be rough around the edges but I dont have time for games and I dont like seeing a small group of youtubers having such a controlling aspect in the sense people hang on their every word.! Thank you so much for the comment!
I was also part of the test batch though I am not a youtuber. but before I got the vehicle I was also told that if there are issues I would get a free replacement. I was fortunate enough to get one without damage, so I kept the test batch car.
I have 2 products and i like them...that said i appreciate your honesty. Its very clear there are youtubers who jerk off inart and jazzinc etc im sure due to the perks and they dont want to lose them. I already know to take most reviews with a grain of salt, and those individuals will eventually lose their credibility. I appreciate you brother for speaking the truth.
I have always said its somewhat hard to make decent money on TH-cam but its possible I mean I shown it can be done. But when others feels there isnt enough money to be made they turn to getting into tight with companies to fee special. I think part of it is perks and also to stroke egos both ways
I’m with you on that. I basically stopped watching those two channels the way they was talking and they made something out of nothing. Everybody has a thing totally understandable.
Hello for the 1st time and thank you for being extremely candid. I have subscribed to your channel based on you being unapolegetically straightforward. Many of the things you stated about jazzinc products I have said about every release that I have purchased. I have sold off the majority of my jazzinc vehicles except for two. I was on the fence about the 89 batmobile that I literally only have one payment remaining and simultaneously, my sideshow waitlist hot toys 89 batmobile converted. Thank you again for helping make the right choice.
Well said! A lot of objectivity has been lost by reviewers/TH-camrs who can no longer be impartial due to their ‘friendships’ with people like Joost and Jon (InArt). To receive a replacement vehicle with issues is just mind boggling to me. As is the way people so vigorously defend JazzInc when, at the same time, the general sentiment m is not to get an early batch because they are problematic. As much as I want the Catwoman figure, seeing that their production pieces are still experiencing issues really has me questioning dropping what would be around $850AUD (Clean DX) to a company that is yet to really nail the production across all batches of a release.
@@sixthscalesheroto combat the nonsense you want to spread. Keep your awareness to yourself. Can’t think for yourself or have to justify not buying something.
Thanks for the transparency! I'm fed up with youtubers that are praising EVERYTHING that comes out.. I was on the waitlist for the 89 batmobile and got the opportunity to now buy it so im on a payment plan but after seeing your last 2 videos I'm nervous.. It's a lot of money. And I have also preordered the Catwoman 2 pack.. Talking about nostalgia- we haven't even seen a full prototype (or I've just missed it) and still I go for it... Well, time will tell if its a hit or miss. But I just wanted to thank you even though you got me nervous😂
I got mine 3 days ago 12/17/24 and I couldn’t be happier! I also have the hot toys version but I’ll sell it as soon as I have time to list it. I’ve seen them side by side and there’s no comparison. I’m thinking I’ll be shipping the hot toys Batmobile in the Jazzinc box because I never had the hot toys box and I don’t think I’ll ever sell the Jazzinc Batmobile. I’m sorry people have had issues but I also have the Batwing and it’s amazing too! Cheers!
Always appreciate the honesty in your videos, and one of the reasons why I always watch. There are a lot of skewed views out there by some other channels. Very childish.
Thank you so much for the support! I will never understand why people cant be more transparent and critical when we are spending hard earned money on these products. We don't owe these companies anything.
I’m excited to get my Batmobile, should be shipping soon. I value feedback and criticism because echo chamber thinking benefits no one. I hope that all creative people/ businesses are able to find their place in creating stuff we want to collect. As for collectibles based content creators, well maturity & honestly hopefully wins in the end.
Well said! Yeah, the 1/6 "community" is getting really toxic lately. I'm not a big fan of JazzInc or InArt because of the people who go wild over their products. The owners of many of these companies are so full of themselves because of certain TH-camrs. This includes the "gentleman" who runs EXO6- he's always complaining about customer comments, trolling trolls online, and threatening to sell "most wanted" Star Trek characters through some secret members only Facebook club. I've tuned out a lot of 1/6 channels - I only watch yours, and "Figure Zone." And I frequently agree with Danoby on many issues lately. I can't stand most the people you mentioned. A issue I have with many is that I assume most receive free or discounted figures, or they take a tax deduction on their purchases as a biz expense for their TH-cam channel.
These companies assume certain content creators have more reach then really do. All they are doing is pandering to an existing base. As I mentioned Joost and Inart are better off using their own TH-cam channel for the stuff. For example; the car comes with a book that gives credit to certain TH-camrs in helping create the car…Justin, Jedha, Sixth scale mafia…what did that do? And Sixth scale man was butt Hurt he was asked to be in the book and hopes he gets to be in the next one? Why what did these guys do to be credited with Zack Snyder? It’s comical
I agree, I wont lie I streamed with many of these cats when I first started and backed out and I am so glad I did. I like just doing my own thing on my own island.
test models of sideshow statues fetch way more than the market value of the final production pieces due to their rarity. so sounds to me like you got a bargain to be honest. but that aside, danoby obviously had a huge falling out with joost that goes beyond just getting a bad vehicle. perhaps danobys wife ran off with joost, or something like that, but his constant joost bashing got tiresome and i havent watched anything from danoby now for 4 years because of it. which is a shame because he used to be the one guy you could depend on for impartial reviews, unlike the shill who was always "super excited" and "really appreciative" of everything hot toys did. but danoby started sounding like that same broken record - hot toys good. everything else bad. yawn.
Well I must say mentioning someone's wife or family in a comment is inappropriate lets get that clear. I can't speak on Danoby nor am I hear to defend him he's a big boy but that being said his opinions about Jazzinc are still outweighed by the countless TH-cam shills who defend no matter what with blinders on.
@@mr.momcollectibles it was a metaphor to make my point. something big happened between the 2 guys. i could have said "perhaps after a really hot curry joost took a big steamy dump in danby's brand new briefcase", but i thought the running off with a wife metaphor had a bit more decorum and made the point that it was not something trivial. plus in the country i live in, its fairly common vernacular, and we are not "offended" by everything, and we still have a sense of humour. regardless, its a deflection off my main point. whatever happened they can sort out. they are big boys. but because it taints danoby's reviews so much, i no longer watch him. and just for the record, i'm not a jazz inc fan. never bought anything from them. but joost seems to be doing god's work in making items hot toys wont touch. so good on him for that at least. a mate of mine HAS bought about 8 items from jazz inc, and i have helped him unbox most of them. everything so far has been great. so all i'm saying is a bit of balance is needed by reviewers, and personal grievances put aside. thats how it would work in an adult world anyway.
People seem to love that Jazzinc is making stuff Hot Toys hasn't. Because of this Jazz actually quality of work really never comes into question because collectors are just happy to have the product.
My thoughts FWIW - 1) Joost should have been crystal clear about setting ground rules for the 'test batch' group (e.g. no social media posts, no reviews, replacement details, etc). Almost all the TH-camrs were quick to share their excitement (aka brag as we all like to do) about being one of the first to receive the product in hand which ultimately worked against them and caused unnecessary drama for everyone. Joost has already admitted this oversight and said he would execute this differently in the future. 2) I 100% agree that the 'cheap' fixes to resolve the machine gun and metal bat emblems on the wheels were not great. Why wasn't this caught in pre-production? In all fairness, if these issues weren't exposed publicly in the test batch and resolved internally/privately, I don't think anybody would have been the wiser or cared if it was a non-issue by the time it reached the collector's hands. Also, Joost has stated that this project had the most amount of support (by far). This is why he was able to include more features but in hindsight, they should have directed the funding and focus towards quality control and budgeting for minor retooling. 3) I think at this point, JazzInc's weakest point is the factory in China. What does QA check before packaging up these $1,500 items? You'd think they have a comprehensive list that covers stuff like fit and finish (which would have caught the machine gun panels) as well as free of dust. While I think it's important to provide constructive feedback to help companies improve their process, service and products, often times 'the delivery' of the feedback can provided differently without trying to burn bridges. In either case, JazzInc will continue to learn and grow from this experience! Thanks for taking the time for putting together a video of your thoughts and follow up on the vehicle Ryan!
I appreciate the honesty, and lets be frank the willingness to draw enemy fire, to give this take and tell things like they are. There is something you said that especially resonated with me - nostalgia is a dirty drug and it pushes us to justify things we shouldnt. This last month I have been wrestling with the question of whether to get the Jazzinc Catwoman or not, its one of my all time wanted figures but the figure is just WAY too expensive for what is being offered and its way too much of a leap of faith considering - there is a PERS eye system to be installed in the heads that we haven't seen - there is going to be an entirely new body - the battle damaged suit hasn't been fully customised for its endgame appearance yet - these proto pics use the full metal custom diecast claws which will be absent on the final product - the proto pics show the full diorama as part of the single pack options, which gives a bit of a false impression on how bare-bones the single packages are. So yeah, this video helped me come to a decision.
Thanks so much for the comment it means a lot. Oh there’s stuff I’m aware of when it comes to the catwoman I’m very tempted to make a video on that figure also
I stand with you bro, speak the truth, I haven’t bought anything from jazz inc cause I knew it was gonna have problems, Hot Toys have been in the game for 20 years and still haven’t got it right.
Another problem with outsourcing for mass production, is QC issues, sadly. And Consumers have become the test subjects. Wish Joost had a way to keep production in-house, but there’s no way, especially for cheaper labor and large production numbers………Hopefully Joost finds a way to cover QC issues. If not, problems will continue to arise, sadly
The most disturbing Thing is the tons of dust... Something went wrong with QC... i feel your pain but i will wait mine to get an opinion. I am sure Joost can fix things for you but it looks like you're done. That 89 was a huge project.
Bro, you seem angry! It's just toys!!! I collect because it's therapeutic. I make videos because it's fun for ME. You've got to take a breath. The big picture is your family and what you enjoy doing at the end of the day! Nothing else truly matters! Just a nickels worth of free advice.
I've seen your videos too late. I've already paid full the Batmobile 1989 and hope their QC will be better when mine will be ready. I agree with you. At that price it should be perfect or close to it. The worst for me is all the extra money you need to pay for the shipping. That makes the toy around $2000. and having low quality QC, deformed parts and 3M to attach parts yourself is a bit of a downer. I'm crossing my fingers.
Anybody sells me a product and its the greatest thing ever, I'm going to boast it as the greatest thing ever .you sell me a product and its shity I'm going to boast it as a shity product !
I have a lot of respect for Joost. He has produced a lot of accurate vehicles & dioramas over the years, of which I have many. However, the consistent paintwork issues on the vehicles just doesn't seem to improve, which makes me question whether I'll continue to invest funds into them going forward. Also, the fb group used to be a fun & healthy place to add critical feedback & proactive suggestions - but in the past year or so, has seen a weird influx of 'white knights' with cultish behavior, defending every decision instead of understanding what the group initially was intended for. I rarely post anything there now.
Someone had the balls to say the truth. Yeah JazzInc is now taking a beating for this 89 debacle. I won't trust them with more of my money. If you can put out defects and band aid them then scream with a smile take it or leave it then we pretty much have to start leaving it. The 89 is likely my last purchase from them as well.
Great video and totally agree. I do own 3 JazzInc Vehicles and love ‘em all! Haven’t had any real issues with any of them, Thank God! Hopefully Joost takes care of you Brother……..🙏
Sorry I've not been here much recently been crazy busy so just catching up with some of your vids. Firstly, congrats on the almost quarter mil subs dude!!!! That is just insanely amazing, but well deserved 😃🔥🔥🔥🔥 And another great video, spittin facts and truth as usual! Really interesting seeing the clips of those other TH-camrs, that stuff is a real eye-opener tbh! Thanks for the video 🙌🏻
Many people think I love doing these videos, sometimes they are fun but honestly I end up getting accused of starting drama when I was doing was giving a different point of view. The difference was I kept it bottled up until now when I was able to secure my replacment because frankly I didnt have any trust in Jazzinc otherwise.
Man this is probably going to piss a lot of people off including Joost. I wonder if this will make you ineligible from future “test” releases or advanced release reviews? You are walking the wire with this one.
@@mr.momcollectibles Oh get over yourself. Calling other TH-camrs liars because they didn't have the same "issues" you claim to have had is just infantile. I really hope Jazzinc does blackball you for this kind of rubbish.
You also had the right to return. I do know that. Did Joost say you couldn't return? RETURN THEM BOTH!! Stop crying just return them. BOO HOO! Damn cry baby. If mine isn't right I'm going to return it.
For me Jazzinc's is totally overrated and too overpriced, I don't understand this cult, on the forums it's impossible to express the slightest criticism like for Inart, it's crazy to be insulted for expressing your opinion.
Jazzinc is making stuff no one else has made ever. People are more excited to have this representation at all and are willing to look over some flaws that boost will fix. I mean……man…..he literally sent you another whole car to try to fix any issues you had and let you keep the original. Which is going to go up in value. It’s still the most accurate ever made. We got a 2022, 89 batwing, justic league, and the 66. No one has done this. It’s not that they worship the ground he walks on. It’s that they are thankful they get it at all. I picked up 3 of these cars and from what I’ve seen. Most of them are fine. What did hot toys give the 1/6th Batmobile? It’s complete garbage.
Who's to say HT wont make a 2022, 89 batwing, justic league, and the 66? And so he sent me a car with issues to replace a car with issues and Im supposed to be thankful? We pay for this stuff lol not like its all free for everyone so weird the inability to buy something and be critical.
Dude you are part of the cult. With the comments about hot toys. No need to mention hot toys. That bat mobile is not garbage. It’s not $1500. If I paid that much for something plus shipping and tax I would talk crap to. You are upset because you are willing to pay that much for flawed vehicle and put your head in the sand. Nothing will be perfect but dang yall don’t want anyone to say anything
Hot toys put out crap and get hammered to when people get it. So don’t act as though they get a pass because it was messed up that they did not have a usb or little upgrades for there batmobile
I’m going to repost my previous comment on this video: It’s about time someone on TH-cam is honest about Jazz Inc. “Cult of Jazz Inc” is correct. All of these TH-camrs, present company excluded, are promoters not reviewers. Wether they are paid or not, Jazz Inc was brilliant in befriending these TH-camrs because now they defend him at all cost. Anytime a guest on a TH-camrs show says anything negative about Jazz Inc, you can see the TH-camrs body and tone change. We will never know the full truth about their “special relationship “ You should never be loyal to any company. You are the consumer and owe nothing to a corporate entity.
You are 💯 correct and part of jt comes down to the fact of egos. Many get into TH-cam thinking there is money to be made, they are lying otherwise. In the beginning I thought if I can make enough money to buy toys that’s great and it not true at all. I’m just starting to see financial gain. That being said, the next best thing is to get in with these companies to stock egos. Attention is a drug and many TH-camrs love it! So they get into TH-cam thinking with Jazzinc and Inart to get views. They may not being getting huge personal perks but just having them on stream at times is enough. Think about this now when Joost is on stream then say “if you want to submit a question send it as a super chat” why? Why should someone pay to ask a question who the hell are they to ask that? Lol but I’m being negative because I’m exposing the truth. But the sheep will follow regardless
It’s all to bad. I watched your other video and the issues with your vehicle suck. Honestly none of these companies get it right all the time. Blitzway, Hot Toys, Jazzinc all have their issues. I have this on order and can’t wait to see when it comes in now. I agree with you on the price, should way cheaper, and yes NOSTALGIA is a motherfucker! I’d love to have a conversation just on that and what it does to us.
I agree all 1/6 cars have shown issues like the Delorean which I said was the worst product for Hot Toys of that year. The afterlife Ecto 1 have messed up logos for 1800 was nuts and Jazzinc speaks for itself.
Thank you for the truth, think all these influencer batches need stopping, causes issues and not fair on the rest of the community. I know people have lied, I never take people at face value, bit of a click going on, quite toxic! It is toys at the end of the day, meant to be enjoyable!
They create the word "community" to try and justify their existence here in this "space." Fact is they dont speak for everyone although they like to think they do. I also dont speak for everyone but its hilarious how they ultimately were the cause of this Jazzinc drama by boasting on their socials they got the vehicle and "review coming soon" but when issues came out and they put a pause on it, they action is what cased collectors to start questioning what going on why isn't there transparency in the issues. And now they want to play the victim card on how they and Joost were treated by the community. Its all a joke.
The annoying thing to me is just the dismissal of the Hot Toys version and the elitist/snobbish way they look down on that version. I get that the Jazz Inc version is more accurate(Although I still say the paint is too shiny for the 89), but I don't think that makes the HT version any less impressive. To 99.9% of people walking into a room with either vehicle, their minds are probably going to be equally blown. I suppose this happens with pretty much any collectible, though. People pick a side and can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that just because one might have more bells and whistles or be more accurate, it doesn't necessarily make the other less impressive. Only people who get super nerdy and sweaty about this stuff let that happen. Anyone else can see how impressive both vehicles are.
I watched both videos about this and agree with you. I got the 66", posted issues about that in the group. A bunch of keyboard tough guys had a meltdown. They closed the post. Joost sent me a replacement, still not what it should have been. I will never buy from Jazz inc again. I bought my 89 Hot toys Batmobile on a scratch and dent sales from BBTS, and had hardly any issues. It is better than my 66" Jazz inc. These vehicles from Jazz inc are very expensive and to have paint issues, lines not matching up, doors not aligning. Steering wheels braking. Cheap stickers that do not adhere, is unacceptable.
I wish I could find the clip he said yes batch going out commonsense don’t review you report back to him but Justin collect did review and said all perfect so there people went on. Joost had said before those people paid more to get test batch a little bit but would get a replacement and NOT have to send it back in his stream he said it so it was to everyone
I repeated many times, Joost is great and brave to make collectables for a very niche market. However, Jazzince group is a cult and his followers are blind. The truth is, the QC is substandard, but the price is high due to the small scaled production. Ultimately, the product is not worth the price.
I disagree with your perspective on his pricing because the 1989 Batmobile he claimed had the highest amount of orders and he charged $1500 for that vehicle which I believe was over 2000 units sold if I’m not mistaken. And the 1995 Batman forever Batmobile, which I believe he sold roughly 500 units he still sold for $1500. The difference I also know is that the amount of features on one compared to the other are completely different. That being said he could instead which is subjective and just my opinion instead of adding all unnecessary features to the 1989 Batmobile, he could’ve lowered the cost on the vehicle. Instead of having smoke effects that aren’t accurate to the car, the front turbine spinning, which is ridiculous and nobody will be using it that could have reduced the cost on the vehicle so once again it says if he has these predetermined the price brackets and it doesn’t matter what the project is. Once again the 1966 bat cycle, I believe he’s charging well over $1000 and his reasoning is because the entire vehicle is going to be diecast Which is completely pointless because once it’s sitting on the shelf who would know it was completely diecast or not it is a completely pointless thing to do, but it’s done to justify the price point that he’s charging for it in his mind. Diecast on six scale vehicles should only be meant for structural purposes and for certain ornamental aspects of the vehicle it is completely unnecessary to completely have a vehicle made of 100% diecast it’s expensive, and once it sits on the shelf, nobody would know the difference just like all of these hot toy Iron Man figures you wouldn’t realistically know what was chrome painted versus diecast from a distance on the shelf.
I think pointing out improvements and sharing your opinion is a good thing. What I think everyone may be forgetting is the low production quantity. This is a big reason why it's expensive. Is the price worth the product? Depends on if you want to build it yourself. Jazzinc is not Hot Toys. How I look at it is Joost is a hobbyist who got many people together in on a batch of vehicles and now figures. It's fan run business model, which can be frustrating, but it is what it is. To all TH-camrs; Be honest, and be respectful. To us fans; take everyone's opinion with criticism, and collect what you want.
Thank you for the comment. The one thing I will say is we don’t know what true costs are. Joost always said .70 on every dollar goes back into the project but how true is that we will never know? I think sometimes certain projects are such a great undertaking and there is an attempt to try to give so many things to collectors that I think the core concepts of the vehicle fall short at times. The example I use is the 1989 Batmobile priced at $1500 compared to the 1995 Batmobile priced at $1500 but both have drastically different features. I know the 89 has much bells and whistles because more people purchased it which allows for more features but looking back it would have been better to ditch the smoke, front turbine moving and maybe the cost could have been lowered include the final price. I always questioned the pricing because it seems like the pricing is set almost always to the same price bracket regardless of the project and one more example to me is the 1966 bat cycle which is over once again $1000 but the reason is for full diecast, which to me is completely pointless to make the bad cycle completely diecast since it’s going to be sitting on the shelf there really is no reason for it to be that way which means it probably could’ve been manufactured and sold at a cheaper price
@mr.momcollectibles Those are some good points about pricing being the same when projects are different, and about the Bat cycle. Thanks for your comment.
Maybe there's another way to do QC testing rather than making the testers your customers. I think maybe you should keep that in house, but he gets valuable information from actual collectors doing it. So I don't know what the right thing is. I don't blame him for this because I don't know what the solution is. At some point you're going to have to put out a test batch and is he really going to stop the process if it's already happening and delay it even more than he already did and puts Joost in a rock in a hard place situation. But yeah you don't want customers thinking that they're getting subpar stuff. Although, it does seem weird that you didn't know that it was a test badge, but I guess if you don't watch any of the TH-camrs who got them... You could be oblivious. That is possible. If I was told review sample, I would interpret that as not the final car. Still, if the fixes were inadequate for you based on the money that you paid, that just shows that there's some sort of solution that Joost needs to come up with to fix the QC issues earlier or halt the whole process, but even if he did that, then people would be mad about that that their vehicles were delayed even more. I appreciate the honesty, it's an inside look about how this process is like. Really tough on both sides for the customer and the manufacturer. If I was Joost, I would take this as constructive feedback and figure out a way to maybe reevaluate my process to some degree.
I think one of the issues as it goes back was the testing I think was more about the shipping and if the cars hold up vs the quality of the cars. What's wild is the car was already well into production so no matter what we are stuck with many of the issues on such a high profile car
Tbh…I’ll reserve my opinion when I receive mine from the last batch. If I’m spending that much money, I’ll take my chances with the last batch, but thanks for the insight.
The whole 1/6 scale game is so shitty now. I watched it like 8 years ago on sideshow freaks and on TH-cam It was starting to get all the whiny titty babies crying and bitching about everything. Grown ass men crying over toys. I wouldn't worry about it unless you want to deal with these people. Just keep doing your thing and I'll keep watching. Real recognizes real 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻🍻🍻
Thanks brother, none of this ultimately bothers me on a personal level but I will speak out against the BS when needed. I'm not playing the victim at all, I'll leave that up to others who have that game on lock down. I am fully aware of the stuff being said about me on facebook groups right now and on collectors freak forum where even Joost replied and said nobody is paying me much attention anyway. Well the comments on my video seem to say otherwise there is more people out there that need to speak up!
Pure clickbait. Everybody is overlooking the simple fact here - if you like or interact with this terrible channel, if you subscribe or follow based on this type of awful video, Mr. Mom makes money. So when the affronted TH-camr starts calling people out for "starting shit", let's bear in mind that the more toxic and unhinged the content, the greater the interactions. Don't fall for it!
Let’s be clear I don’t actually make money on subs so you’re in accurate in that standpoint. And even by you leaving this comment, you’re technically engaging with my channel which then in fact is helping the overall engagement of putting the video out more so I thank you for the comment Despite it being negative it still does help the overall engagement value for the video so I do appreciate your efforts.
@@mr.momcollectibles Oh, I'm happy to give you your 25c or whatever, in exchange for being able to call out your BS - that's a fair price to pay. Also, "I don't actually make money on subs" is specious - either you genuinely don't know how monetisation works, or you're being disingenuous. (TL:DR for those who genuinely don't know, subscribers watch more videos, are more likely to click on ads, and, if they're really culty, they’ll buy merch and join channel memberships). Most people, when they have an issue, resolve it via customer service - you, on the other hand, upload badly made videos for clicks. It's the way of the world I guess - but when you call something a "cult" and say "what's really behind" then I think it's worth pointing out that the REAL reason behind your unhinged content is, as you put it, "engagement value".
Another reality check is subs don't actually watch more videos. On average over 80% of videos on TH-cam are watched from non subs. This cult video, 60.1% of the views came from people not subbed. People genially watch stuff on TH-cam but don't want to sub because they want to pick and choose what they want to watch. Of course I make money youtube I have never hidden that just like every other youtuber but I dont push channel memeberships - if you want to join, join. I dont sell merch, and I dont hustle suepr chats on live steams. I wonder what shill sent you lol either way thank you for replying.
@@mr.momcollectibles Subscribers absolutely do watch more videos - if you subscribe to a channel you get a notification of new content. If you subscribe to a channel, you are engaging with it more than a casual browse. How do you not know this stuff? It's embarrassing. Didn't take long for the "shill" slur to come out, did it? Someone disagrees with your BS, calls you out on your BS, and you're straight in there with "what shill sent you". We don't need the insults - I didn't call you a pasty-faced baboon's arse, did I?
If you dream of a 1/6 snowspeeder, or 66’ Batmobile you’re thankful someone is making it happen. Is it as good as a massive company like hot toys can do? Typically not. Can’t do them as cheaply or efficiently either. It’s just reality. Nothing cult about it. Still love that Joost makes it happen and earnestly does the best job he can. I’d be first in line for a 1/6 Vader Tie fighter 😆
@ I can’t argue there. Collectibles are a very pricey luxury item. We’ll be ok as long as it’s limited batches, no 2.0’s and the materials hold up over time. What really stings are shipping costs!
Well…I’m correct in saying “I” have not had any issues with hot toys since I’ve been purchasing them you seemed to have missed that party. And the company has well over how many products releases? The MMS line alone has almost 800 figures not to mention everything else in 20 years. So with that yes they have problems but the % doesn’t compare
@@mr.momcollectibles A good example of this is the hot toys Back to the Future 1 doc brown bad sculpt. I'm a vehicle person anyway. My overall point is people collect what they want how they want without criticism from other people.
Did you ever question your replacement? That maybe Joost sent you second rejected 89? Maybe his attitude was that you got 2 vehicles for a price of one. Maybe he was being vindictive for dropping your review back then. There was a lot of dust that was all over the entire vehicle. Those awful blemishes are ridiculous, it Just seems suspicious. Your second vehicle seems to be plagued with some of the same issue as the test vehicle you received. That was the first thing that came to our minds when we were watching your unboxing. This video was enlightening and very informative. I am sure the community appreciates your videos and honestly. ❤ I also feel that someone has been awakened from their slumber! 😂🥸
According to Joost "Just to stick to the facts. I have not heard from him about this, but if he would've contacted me, I would've send out new covers or a whole new car (at out expense)." A terrible review from a guy with an agenda. If I have an issue with an order, I contact the company. Most companies will want you to be happy - it makes zero sense to put this BS on TH-cam, but sadly, that's the way of the world now. Jazzinc isn't the issue - clickbait like this IS.
Joost seems like a good guy, and the community is very much invested in his success because he's putting out product that other companies seldom seem interested in. But yeah, the quality issues you and other collectors have been having with them need to be seriously addressed. I'm hesitating to pull the trigger on the Catwoman figures, because they're promising a lot and have no track record in that space to point to.
They have shown us not enough with the catwoman and frankly its balls for them to come in at that pricing with having such a track record of every project having questions. To me not worth the money and its something you will prob see on the aftermarket
@@mr.momcollectiblesballs or arrogance? They showed us a spectacular looking prototype but we all know factory paint apps are no match for a professionally hand-painted prototype by an artist. Hot Toys pulls this all of the time with their pre-orders and seldom does the in-hand product look as good and quality of materials have cut corners to cut costs. It’s Bait & Switch advertising and no way am I dropping $1400 going all-in blindly on Catwoman if the in-hand doesn’t live up to what they have shown. I’ll wait for the youtube reviews and if it is sold out it’s sold out, oh well. There will be others.
Don’t start shit and decide to play the victim when the receipts are shown.

Yours was fucked when you got it. You just won't admit it.
Thank you for your honesty. It's hard to come by in the 1/6 scale community. You've earned my sub. Will be looking forward to your future videos.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that it means alot!
Then don’t buy from the company. You guys are the TH-cam yelp reviewers. No one cares
@@darthnegative3051you seem to care

I hate it when people make excuses for Jazzincs QC issues like "well they're doing this for the fans!". Fans and also money, mostly for the money.
No excuses for sure
Thanks for the transparency! I'm fed up with youtubers that are praising EVERYTHING that comes out..
I was on the waitlist for the 89 batmobile and got the opportunity to now buy it so im on a payment plan but after seeing your last 2 videos I'm nervous.. It's a lot of money. And I have also preordered the Catwoman 2 pack.. Talking about nostalgia- we haven't even seen a full prototype (or I've just missed it) and still I go for it... Well, time will tell if its a hit or miss. But I just wanted to thank you even though you got me nervous😂
And those are critical or subjective like myself or others are labeled as "negative"
You got two and they're both f***** up that's crazy
I got mine 3 days ago 12/17/24 and I couldn’t be happier! I also have the hot toys version but I’ll sell it as soon as I have time to list it. I’ve seen them side by side and there’s no comparison. I’m thinking I’ll be shipping the hot toys Batmobile in the Jazzinc box because I never had the hot toys box and I don’t think I’ll ever sell the Jazzinc Batmobile. I’m sorry people have had issues but I also have the Batwing and it’s amazing too! Cheers!
Thank you for your transparency and your truth. Completely agree that these pieces are way overpriced for a Lil paint and extra lights.
Thank you so much!
1/6 community always been toxic 😂😂 it’s deff not what I had expected when I first joined years ago that’s for damn sure..
Just because he makes stuff hot toys hasn’t touched “yet” doesn’t mean it’s all perfect
@@mr.momcollectibles yep, totally agree. whats your point ?
People seem to love that Jazzinc is making stuff Hot Toys hasn't. Because of this Jazz actually quality of work really never comes into question because collectors are just happy to have the product.
This is completely bonkers. Now Joost is trying to get his cult to vote him into an award of best collectible company. Totally nuts.
Haha that’s hilarious where? In his Facebook group?
@mr.momcollectibles yep. He's gliding with a smile demanding awards for shipping out dented bodies and warped gun covers

The end.
I miss him. He was one of the first TH-camrs I found when I started this hobby in 2015. I still watch his old videos from time to time for nostalgia.

@@tessjess1 You and I both brother..... We were the OG's
Hell of a video Mr. Mom, now that you sat back for 3 months and unleashed glorious purpose! We best be seeing more from you, cheers!
Thank you! Will do!
My thoughts FWIW -
1) Joost should have been crystal clear about setting ground rules for the 'test batch' group (e.g. no social media posts, no reviews, replacement details, etc).
This last month I have been wrestling with the question of whether to get the Jazzinc Catwoman or not, its one of my all time wanted figures but the figure is just WAY too expensive for what is being offered and its way too much of a leap of faith considering
- there is a PERS eye system to be installed in the heads that we haven't seen
- there is going to be an entirely new body
- the battle damaged suit hasn't been fully customised for its endgame appearance yet
- these proto pics use the full metal custom diecast claws which will be absent on the final product
- the proto pics show the full diorama as part of the single pack options, which gives a bit of a false impression on how bare-bones the single packages are.
So yeah, this video helped me come to a decision.
Thanks so much for the comment it means a lot. Oh there’s stuff I’m aware of when it comes to the catwoman I’m very tempted to make a video on that figure also
@@mr.momcollectibles Please do!
I stand with you bro, speak the truth, I haven’t bought anything from jazz inc cause I knew it was gonna have problems, Hot Toys have been in the game for 20 years and still haven’t got it right.
Thank you for the support!
The car has incredible shelf presence I just think they lack QC honestly and it seemed to me a bit of a rush job to get them out.
He probably went cheap. This is a learning process. I've seen it happen with other companies.
Fk I’m worried now. I just paid for my ‘89. paint issues are gonna irritate me.
That’s why I like ur channel ur always up front
I got no reason to lie or sugar coat shit, thank you for the support
Of course he sent you a Batmobile from a batch that he specifically rejected. Genius! 🤔
Great video and totally agree. I do own 3 JazzInc Vehicles and love ‘em all! Haven’t had any real issues with any of them, Thank God! Hopefully Joost takes care of you Brother……..🙏

I’m going to repost my previous comment on this video:
It’s about time someone on TH-cam is honest about Jazz Inc.
I stopped watching onesixthscaleman and brother cousins ages ago they are boring streams
I see I'm being summoned from my slumber..... 😎
This will be fun, I guarantee it.😝
We need a midnight run!
@Danoby2, You are needed, sir. I'm sure that the FRASIER of the 1/6 community has much to say.
Say his name and he appears…
Rise Danoby😂
I liked the diaromas. That's what we need.
I wish I could find the clip he said yes batch going out commonsense don’t review you report back to him but Justin collect did review and said all perfect so there people went on. Joost had said before those people paid more to get test batch a little bit but would get a replacement and NOT have to send it back in his stream he said it so it was to everyone
boost said that they would get a replacement and they paid extra to get test and would not have to send it back I know he did.
If he did he did I know other TH-camrs tap danced around it when asked
Yours will have dents and same issues. You might as well accept it.
You have pretty eyes…are you wearing eyeliner?
😂
Everyone's chasing those views and subscribes.
It's literally a channel devoted to collecting toys 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We don't need the insults - I didn't call you a pasty-faced baboon's arse, did I?
you didnt call me out on anything lol analytics dont lie on subs and who watchs vs dont lol
well done mr mom great video I always hated jazzinc
If you dream of a 1/6 snowspeeder, or 66’ Batmobile you’re thankful someone is making it happen. Is it as good as a massive company like hot toys can do? Typically not. Can’t do them as cheaply or efficiently either. It’s just reality. Nothing cult about it. Still love that Joost makes it happen and earnestly does the best job he can. I’d be first in line for a 1/6 Vader Tie fighter 😆
I feel he can be doing better for the pricing being charged and the QC of the products.
@ I can’t argue there. Collectibles are a very pricey luxury item. We’ll be ok as long as it’s limited batches, no 2.0’s and the materials hold up over time. What really stings are shipping costs!
you should also stop buying hot toys because they have just many problems as Jazzinc regardless of the cost
Incorrect the amount of "issues" I have had with HT doesnt even come close to comparing to Jazzinc. Maybe I should stick to InArt? hmm
Your incorrect hot toys has over the years a lots of quality control issues @mr.momcollectibles
I also feel that someone has been awakened from their slumber!
I can tell you that catwoman body shown in the photos is not the custom one it’s advertised to have, I’ll just say that
