- We install front and rear bilstein shocks on our obs ford powerstroke! The old shocks were so bad that they very well could've been the originals! Leave a comment if you think they were!

sulastics shackles makes a killer shackle for your truck nice truck I got a 95 Powerstroke crew cab long bed mine is beat up. But it's a project
I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but having the axle drooped out makes installing shocks easier. Aka not using the front axle as a jacking point
That’s perfect nice truck man!
Gonna install Bilsteins (BP4600) on my 92 F250 5.0 next year, along with new Moog coil springs in the front. Mine are probably still original...lol.
Go to Woodward spring shop in either New Bedford or Brockton the best
If your trying to change the leaf springs maybe try just changing the bushings only
That’s a good idea!
First. Love the truck so jealous want a 90's 7.3 so bad
I wouldn’t change a thing nice truck
Thank you!
Did this truck have any previous lift kit? Just wondering, it’s super cool.
Rim and tire size? Nice truck.
What's the part number for the bilstein?
Hello, I have a 96, I really liked these wheels and tires, could you tell me the measurements? Is it a 16x8 and a 315/75 r16 tire?
Are those shocks good for a 6 inch lift kit?
Also, I have some tips and tricks that I learned through trial and error that make the job go faster.
So for the top on the rear do you just take the nut off and it pops right off?
Yes, it might be a little seized on but that is the only thing holding it.
Check your leaf spring bushings, shackle bushings, axle pivot bushings. Just replaced mine along with ball joints and tie rods. Made a huge difference. It was very time consuming and frustrating at times but well worth it.
👍
I need to do this not looking forward to it but you’re right it will be worth it
I looked for the part nimber in your description to no avail? Could you post it to my comment? Thank you.
Hey man any idea where to get the diamond plate bed caps
LMC Truck is great!

Where did you get the diamond plate to protect the bed rails?
The diamond plate was on the truck when we bought it.
Part number for the shocks?
They are 5125 series shocks and the exact part numbers are 33-104652 and 33-185569
Your rig?
Link to shocks?
What is the tourque for the front back top bottom?
Same as stock. Google it.
What lift and tire size is that?
4 inch lift on 33’s
part number for those shocks?
They are 5125 series shocks and the exact part numbers are 33-104652 and 33-185569
Guys shocks do not hold any vehicle weight. The shocks only dampen the spring motion.
The 7.3 is clean.. real clean.
OBS, riding smooth, is there such a thing? Mine unloaded rides like a skateboard.
Lol
That grease and dirt is what a real truck is like...lol.
U put the front shocks up side down
and they are way too long.
like 4 inch of travel available
Shock looks like it’s upside down
Those front shocks are too long. Maybe they belong in the rear?
80$ bucks a pop? Where from?
We got them from a company called CP Addict.
What size tires you guys running on that?
315/75r16
the spring is missing
Just wondering what front axle that was and what lift kit you went with?
We got the truck lifted, we think it is a 4 inch lift. The axle is a stock Ford ttb.
Anyone who says obs ride like crap has only owned a clapped out HD truck with shocks like that. Theres a reason all prerunners have twin ibeam based suspension.
So a coil spring conversion would be best with the TTB?
Problem is it's not a f350 my truck sets higher stock not lift blocks ether.
Sweet dumb exhaust
