This is a great video, however I do not recommend using a pneumatic ratchet because it could snap some bolts pretty easy. Also, it’s a good point of practice to use some marine grade bearing grease on the impeller and just turn the housing only, not the shaft. You could also mark the alignment of the shaft to the shaft housing if you’re going to reuse the housing itself for an easy reinstall and line up.
Hi do u have impeller part number also where did u purchase it? Also please after draining oil do u fill it up again n what oil do u put n quantity and where do u put oil in ? Ty so much for helping

No cleaning the pump plate or housing, no silicone assembly grease so it doesn't run dry... Shoddy job.. Also looks like you may have lost one of the nylon washers. There should be one on each side of the impeller...
Only way to test a stator is a DVA meter. You can get a DVA adapter for any multimeter. A DVA adapter will allow you to see peak voltage. If it’s in spec then your stator is good.

You forgot to show the VERY 1st thing to do at the beginning.... DRAIN THE LOWER UNIT FLUID. Ha ha ha. Very good information! Fall project for me.

Whoa! you forgot to mention that the rubber impeller needs to be installed in the correct direction! if you have it "backward" it wont pump correctly.
So. should have turned the impeller the other way?
The impeller fin should have been pointed in the clock Direction. so you should spin it counterclockwise?

something isn't right, at the end the motor wasn't pumping water?????
For whatever dumb reason they didn't install a "pee hole" or tell tale on these motors. You can install one yourself if you want.

you need a better setup.lower unit rotating stand.a properly set up workbench,and a clean working area.
