The first time i found a 100% farmer, i didn't know i could capture him without hiting, so i let him aroud 10~20% HP, and when i was getting close to my base, one of those archers who shoots fire arrows luckily hit the servant, he bursted into flames and died... I cried blood 😢
Last night, i was out without a horse, found a 100 worker. Was almost home when a dog that was charging the dash at me, just spun around and killed my 100% villager who teleported behind them since i got too far away. I was devastated.
I found 100% scholar yesterday and manage to imprison her and drain the blood. I too focused on reducing the misery but i forgot about her health and end up killing her. Well at least i got 3 bottle from it XD
@@lokikokoko5833 haha I did something similar on my first 100% prisoner (brute). I got one bottle out and it only drained like 10% of his health, so I said to myself “ok one more bottle should be fine, then I can fully lower his misery”. The next bottle went from 90% to ded😂.
There's is way to push through the RNG and get your servant to max expertise, it's kinda of boring and I don't know if it's intended or just a glitch, but everytime they die and ressurrect their expertise basically rerolls, so you can move their coffin close to your tomb room (if you have one), remove all their equipment, let them die to the mobs that you spawned and ressurrect them, rinse and repeat until you get that max expertise for their blood quality.
Just to point out this is mainly info towards servants in the late game and for PvP. If you're looking into getting servants mainly as hunt slaves and in the early game the only thing that matters is their loot affinity and trait, blood quality will help but not as much. For farbane you want to look into getting atleast one brute (tenacious strength) and one worker (humble appearance) to farm the bandit trapper camp and copper mine. For dunley farm lands you'll want a cleric (light blessing) and a longbow (hutsman) to farm the monastery and church of the damned.
Personaly I dont bother with sending people to the Church of the Damned. You can do a 5 min run to grab Scourgestones from the crypts to get a bunch of scourgestones. IIRC there are 4 crypts that contains up to 4 scourgestones each. I very much prefer to send villagers to the 2 areas that give fish.
@@castillle3675 to each his own, I send people to the church because they also bring back bones and grave dust ontop of the scourge stone but scourge stones should really be something you should have several sources from.
Using servants in early game PvE is nearly useless if you’re efficient. Only started “needing” servants late game. Even then, not really needed unless you only play a few minutes a day. Early game is a lot easier in quite a few ways. More loot, less loot types needed, enemies have much weaker kits. Most loot you need is much closer than it is late game. I’d say skip servants altogether until the end of dunley. I’d think you’d waste more time getting servants and sending on missions. When you could just hit one or two camps and be fine on loot. Ofcourse this is all in hindsight and knowing which loot to keep.
I've killed a few 100% worker villagers. Had no idea that R does enough dmg to take them without hitting. Good stuff 🤯 What about scholars that don't attack? Like the roaming ones in tier 2

@Demone Kim Hey dude, one thing I haven't seen any videos or guides discuss is servant type composition. I'm currently running 4 Paladins, 2 Clerics and 3 Lightweavers. The idea being I have a huge frontline, annoying backline, and two healers so they can heal each other and everyone else. I was thinking of maybe dropping a Lightweaver and adding a Priest or Nun (they have buffs right?). What do you think is the best composition for PvP base defense? Cheers!
There is no best. Just like any pvp game, it’s how you play it. I’m sure there’s somebody out there running all workers and can still shit on you or I. Your idea isn’t the worst! Use it, improve it as you see fit.

@@Piknim The workers from the cocoons are Silverlight faction when I get them back to my coffin. The werewolf at night/villager at day dudes are Dunley farm faction. Still none from cursed forest faction.
I have so many questions about some certain game mechanics to which I see no answers while googling. Such as what is the difference in health values between walls and gates, are window walls hp equal to the hp of regular walls, do servants utilize windows to fight intruders and final one has it been tested/verified that expertise improves servants for pvp or is it an assumption, because their gear score based solely on equipment and difference in gs between units is what defines dmg output and damage negation, therefore I'm not that sure if power actually affects pvp.
I wonder if there's a console command to spawn an NPC where you can control the percentage? We had a 93% brute and I've been the one feeding him, making sure he's always at full hp and 0% misery, but when we came back from a hunt he was gone. No drops of tainted heart no signs of him :(( it's kinda unfairrr but maybe its a bug
hi. i was just trying to get some more information about the game and the play-mechanics before i purchase this. i have a few questions regarding thrall / servants.. can they come with you in the open world and help you fight monsters and bosses ? are the servants immune to the damage from light ? what happens to a servant / thrall when they die .. do they go to a coffin and come back alive later or are they gone permanently ? if im playing on a pve server is there any point in defending your own base - will there be AI controlled opponents that will attack your base periodically or is there zero threat of ever being base attacked on a pve server ?
No they cannot leave your base besides to do missions from the castle throne but when they do those missions they don't really go out into the world. No they aren't affected by light. If they die you can revive them for 50 blood essence so very cheap. If ur playing pve no servants can't defend your base but the resources they get from missions is very good
My question is, is a 100% from silverlight good enough that you don't need the area bonus to do farbane missions? If I care only about farming mats like copper, do I really need a farbane guy or will silverlight do fine. Also does area bonus affect survivability or also the amount of loot they come back with
Yes, you're free to send any servant anywhere, some just offer more loot due to their class bonus. The only trait that affects survivability is the ones that reduce the difficulty.
The left perk is from class of blood. % don't matter. That perk will lower the mission difficulty by 100... which is massive. The right side perk is from faction of the unit. Matching this gets u 20% more loot on the mission. Neither stack so u just need one per mission. I like to get 1 or 2 minions that full unlock the missions I spam. Then extra minions just get more loot for me. In pvp u will want higher blood percent because it will matter in base defense. Pve, blood percent does not matter. With basic end gear and mission difficulty perk u will easily 100% any mission.
@@chowjappa6470 That has not been my experience. I have one brute that was 45% blood in all merciless copper gear and he can't do anything in his area with 100% chance. However another dude that was 87% blood can handle all his matched events easily.
Hey Demone, I noticed you have one of your abilities binded to Mouse 3. I want to switch my C ability to Mouse 3, but when I do the ability doesn't work. Did you run into this issue and if so, how did you fix it?
Check to make sure something else isn't mapped to the same button randomly. I had the same issue, but the game had mouse button 3 set as the secondary key to cancel an ability. So it kept canceling as soon as I use the ability lol
I don't understand if the expertise affect the actual combat skill. I know it matters for gathering resources on quest but on purpouse to defend the castle if a player enemy fight my servant with a level gear of 81 and 5 expertise would be worst then an a same 81 lvl with a 16% expertise? i doubt that, and if yes how and why
Hey, where can I find Crypt Floors? If there isn't a clear answer, is there any advise as to how I should go about getting it? Would really appreciate it!
Hey Demone, quick question. What should you do with a surplus of planks later in the game? I'm making sawdust to get the research cleared out, but the planks keep stacking up and I'm not sure what to be using them for.
Nice video :) what gs would you say its fine to go to docks? Im gs 59 with merciless Gear and im Kinda stuck where to go. Where Can i find dark silver?
You’ll need to farm the cursed forest a lot. Need ghost yarn, pristine leather, for the next tier armor. And scourgestones + silver for dark silver ingots which makes the next tier weapons. Lots of hard farm starts at that stage. The stuff you need is now much harder to get compared to before.
If i play on a private server with a friend do i get 8 servants and he gets 8 sevants? Can i get my own throne to do missions and he gets one, if we build two separate castles?
Umm... I don't think you have to stay in dominating presence form after you nabbed the servant. I turned into a wolf and ran home. I don't know if you can use your bat, I don't have that.
Doubtful. As when you go to sanction them it seems only button and not options for if you were to have 2. I believe the vampire kiss turns into kill charmed unit, once you have somebody charmed
Feedback: Pretty informative and good video. But also quite long. I for myself was looking for a specific info, but i don wanna scroll through a 20 minute clip. Timestamps or some table of contents would help a lot. Cheers
If you have a specific question then just look it up on google… what do you think “ultimate guide to servants” means? He was extremely concise and informative. There’s just a lot of aspects to this, can’t explain it all in 2 minutes if it’s an ultimate guide.
Hey Demone, I think I've encountered a bug with the servants. My friend and I are playing on our own PvE server and he is the host. We both built our own castles and have our own separate servants that we captured. However, I can't send my servants out at all where as he can. When I sit on my throne the map comes up but I get no white areas to select at all what so ever. My throne is in the same room as the servant coffins so that's not the issue. Also, when my friend (the server host) comes to my castle he IS able to command MY servants. We are in a clan together too. So it seems like this is a bug to me. I'd really love it if I could command my own servants so I don't have to ask him to do it for me every time. Any thoughts?
I'm in PVE server and i noticed the time on missions doesn't progress while offline so if i send a servant in a 24 hour mission, that mean 24 playing hour which make almost the whole process useless :(
That's cause ur hosting ur own game. If ur off the save is off. Time passes on an online server. Server I host is pve and last few days I have basically just been doing servant missions then log off. So def work with online servers.
i would like to add that update just released today that added new command called "addtime", you can use it when you back online to simulate online server :D

This is the most important part of the game and it's made EXTREMELY difficult because of either a bug or my fucking literal demigod knight dying to a peasant that punched in a general direction and got lucky.

Is the expertise of the servant related to the quality of the blood ? Cause god damn , most of my servants have super low expertise.
Yes. He said this in the video. You want high quality blood for a bigger boost in expertise.
Hey, someone know which mob can be tamed into a servant and have the cursed forest buff to have +20% amount of ressources in the region, since i didn't find any humans type being ?
I have been looking for this as well... I tried the werewolf village people and the villagers from spider cocoons in the cave, but neither work.
You have a chance to find humans in the cocoons in the spider cave. Truly a pain.
@@Piknim I already did that--they aren't cursed woods faction
@@TheSpookydeath I've only read that the workers that are in the cocoons are from Dunley but other blood types can be part of the cursed forest. Now I have not personally found any, so I can't confirm if this is true. I've only found regular workers so far... that turn into werewolves which is kinda weird as well.
@@Piknim The workers from the cocoons are Silverlight faction when I get them back to my coffin. The werewolf at night/villager at day dudes are Dunley farm faction. Still none from cursed forest faction.
i got a 100% worrior blood type today 🙌
Can you use the cave travel system when bringing a captured servant home?
bouuta cop my first servant lesgoo
How do you resurrect servants after they die, and how long does it take
hi. i was just trying to get some more information about the game and the play-mechanics before i purchase this. i have a few questions regarding thrall / servants..
can they come with you in the open world and help you fight monsters and bosses ?
are the servants immune to the damage from light ? what happens to a servant / thrall when they die .. do they go to a coffin and come back alive later or are they gone permanently ?
if im playing on a pve server is there any point in defending your own base - will there be AI controlled opponents that will attack your base periodically or is there zero threat of ever being base attacked on a pve server ?
@@DeadbeatShadows I see, thanks so much! :) I will have a look next time I'm on
I don't understand if the expertise affect the actual combat skill.
Use scrolls until you find it randomly I guess
Research so farm scrolls or get a paper press
Hey Demone, quick question. What should you do with a surplus of planks later in the game? I'm making sawdust to get the research cleared out, but the planks keep stacking up and I'm not sure what to be using them for.
Turn them into reinforced planks.
Or sell them to others for research?
How the tables have turned: in the early game, u need a shitton of planks and sawdust is so annoying
@@celtrik well u should have 3 or 4 machines at least. I didn't even remove the dust, was still sitting in there when we finally got the paper press
Idk if it's a bug or intentional, but you can still use sanguine coil while having someone dominated
Sometimes the C skill randomly becomes available to use.
Nice video :) what gs would you say its fine to go to docks? Im gs 59 with merciless Gear and im Kinda stuck where to go. Where Can i find dark silver?
Octavia? A vblood unlocks it. Then silver ore from silver hills and scourge stones fron the cursed forest
I’d wait on the docks and farm the cursed forest for next tier armor. That tier isn’t too nice at the docks. Even with a dark silver weapon.
I have 2 of my paladins fully equipped but they still have 80 gear level.. how can I set the gear to 81?
If i play on a private server with a friend do i get 8 servants and he gets 8 sevants? Can i get my own throne to do missions and he gets one, if we build two separate castles?
what is the best early game servants? Like maybe do a guide on best ones up to level 50 please
Skipping servants altogether would be faster up till that point
if priest hit with their orbs they do a lot of damage
Umm... I don't think you have to stay in dominating presence form after you nabbed the servant. I turned into a wolf and ran home. I don't know if you can use your bat, I don't have that.
Don't know where to find the Cursed Forest Hunter?
If your servant dies, do they lose their gear or do they respawn with everything?
if the coffins get destroyed during a siege do the servants die during or after the siege?
Can you dominate multiple at once
Maybe destroy one of the structures and rebuild? Like the heart and replace quickly? Just a thought that it might be a bugged structure
Militia fire archer. I hate them the most so they would make good servants
I'm in PVE server and i noticed the time on missions doesn't progress while offline
so if i send a servant in a 24 hour mission, that mean 24 playing hour which make almost the whole process useless :(
That's cause ur hosting ur own game. If ur off the save is off. Time passes on an online server. Server I host is pve and last few days I have basically just been doing servant missions then log off. So def work with online servers.
@@chowjappa6470 didn't know that, thank you.
i would like to add that update just released today that added new command called "addtime", you can use it when you back online to simulate online server :D
What about using the rat form to inconspicuously scurry around looking for servants
I mean.. you can.. it’s just slow. Don’t really need to hide if you’re moving fast. Moving fast covers more ground so..
@@ahkao.9347 yeah but.... Your can turn in to a common rat. A creature of the night. Stalking my prey, human and vampire alike, from the shadows to the forest: I am rat! I don't have any friends that play this game so I like to roleplay lol
@@jayyrod1 understandable. As long as it suits you! Enjoying a game is much better than simply playing one.
Did you try teleporting after getting a servant? I still aim to try that myself but seems it should be working
I've tried and you can't teleport with a servant. I haven't tried a cave though..
@@itslene Thanks for letting me know! I'll stick to a fast steed for now. Let me know if you can figure out a way to use the cave system that could shave some off my travel time.
You can use caves, but not waygates.
Didn't realize i was killing a 95% villager until i was draining it *banging head on desk*
100s are only ones that matter. The difference between a 95 and 100 is alot.
Anyone know if you can change a servant into a prisoner? I'm guessing terminate will kill them?
So where do you get the morale fish? except for fishing :)
Some pois say fresh fish. U can loot them in these places. Usually areas with large docks
How can he run so long time in the sun, without taking damage?
The RNG is a killer, had a 98% roll the lowest possible...
what is that power 27 Shadow Reaper Scyth? :o
Can you make a video about the Blood key. :3 got mine yesterday.
Wear it...
@@chowjappa6470 lmao I have but I feel like it's going to be super expensive to upkeep so I just put it on the servants XD
Can you travel through the tunnels with dominating presence active and a servant following?
Yes
yes but avoid V bloods at all cost as conflict with them will automatically drop the servant following you
can you loot enemy servants for their gear? Im on a pvp server no gear drops
Do you know how to use the slasher to a high play level? Or do you know anyone I can watch that does?
Hotbiscuit loves slashers and he was one of the best BR players in the past. So you may check his stream/vods on twitch
I would like to know the minimum blood quality value to get the maximum expertise treshold, 15-26% expertise. The minimum blood quality i got to unlock It,was 85%, but i don't know if i could with less.
No every few blood points changes expertise. 100% is best. But If on pve it does not matter. Just get units that match the mission to get both bonuses
Getting servants back to base is insanely fucking annoying. I can enslave this dude for life, have him be my eternal servant, fight terrifying monsters on my behalf, equip him with the best gear and trust him to never betray me, and he never will. But nope, "stand in that bush over there while I deal with the guys that dismounted me" is simply too far. Not possible.
I've lost two 100% to patrols now. Completely fucking unavoidable and RNG-based. I lost a 3rd 100% to a bug that made him simply vanish from a cage. Getting super super annoying. This is the most important part of the game and it's made EXTREMELY difficult because of either a bug or my fucking literal demigod knight dying to a peasant that punched in a general direction and got lucky.
Does anyone know the purpose of the second castle heart, or is it just for building a secondary location?
yeah the castle heart is how you make another castle, so its just to setup a new location. Or if you have a large enough space you can set it down to expand and connect your base
Is there an easy way to move servants to a new castle?
Easy way? Is there even a hard way?
ive got the blood key, i got 3 server 1sts now what?
can u make a video how to defeat the spider ungora? it so hard
