One tip to keep in mind is to have a horse or know where to get one nearby. Your charmed target will follow you no matter what and since you can't access wolf form, you will be very slow if you don't use a horse.
Wait so you can just gallop after capturing a human?
but don't you have to make sure it doesn't die ? or can you just rush back to ur base
@@iKarmine Honestlly I can´t say for sure. I know I lost some charmed targets before and didn't know how, I suspected another player killed one and another died from fire archers. I have seen posts claiming that fire can still kill them. One thing I can say for sure that the last one I charmed, we let it get hit by a lot of enemy attacks to test it and It didn't get damaged. So there might be some bugged attacks from npc's and maybe players that can still kill them. So yeah you can just rush to your base and they will follow you super fast, they can get stuck sometimes tho, so keep an eye on them.
@@azrulashraf00 yes get on your horse and go back to your base.. the captured human will follow you no matter what.. even if you go extremely fast to your base, the servant will basically teleport to you.
Horses are so op I use one to kill most of the vblood bosses you do 170 percent more damage per swing of your weapon so you dishing out 30 damage a hit As a low lvl when your blood spell does 23 damage not to mention no cooldown for swinging a weapon so you just circle the boss and swing away after like 10 hits there down
All that matters, when getting your charmed human back your base is you getting to your base. They will teleport to you periodically as you go, so as long as you don't trigger any AOE attack from NPCs (i.e Flame Arrows, etc) they will be fine. So bring a horse and run like your life depends on it...
The only thing I wish from Thralls would be that they could be very strong NPCs that can defend your base from player attacks.
They do defend your base when you are offline and their strength is dictated by their blood and gear.
I heard that if you just give them good armor and weapon they can surely keep your castle safe. if not the whole server unites to wipe your castle out.
@@krayways honestly, a couple servants won't stop your base from being raided, especially not by "the whole server"
Get paladin's, the ranged magic ones and also the buffing one. Those 3 together will seriously do a good job of defending. If you get a mixture of those for all of your Thralls then I think you'll always be safe.
@@D00M3R_MAVS I mean yeah but getting to paladins is a while..what to have with you while you are progressing to the end game?
What qual blood should you shoot for on your first Thrall, and can I get rid of them for a better one later? I think the best qual of anything I've seen so far has been like 50-65% maybe.
You can terminate a current servant and then replace them by charming someone else back to the coffin. I've only just started this system myself, but "okay %" is what I've aimed for just get going with the intent of replacing them later on. Got a single 100% for my third guy last night, which will make it more likely for me to try to replace my lowest guy (can't remember what they were) now. Still tons for me to do in the game, so not sure if I'll be grinding just for that anytime soon. Stroke of pure luck to have gotten a 100%. I'm not up to the jails yet. I suspect you can't convert a servant into a prisoner, which is when I anticipate the capture grind will start to kick into higher gear for me.
Does blood quality/percent have an effect on how well they defend the base? Does 100 percent have more strength health dmg etc. Against raiders?
Yess the more % blood quality the higher the expertise
the followers basically teleport to u, just jump on horse and go home, they will be there when u get there
My servant coffin turn into red and visible. can walk through them. I terminate my servant, but nothing happen. It always show resurrecting. Also cannot destroy or cannot dismantle. what should I do ?
anyone know where to get cursed forest hunter type servants?
I had a feeling blood % had an effect but never bothered to research til now.
Just a tip for every one craft the recall dust in the alchemie table send the npcs to the prison and get them from there in the coffin so you dont have to escort them
This game is actually really good so far! 😮😊
Idk if I've encountered a bug or I'm missing something, but I have 7 servents but when I sit on my throne, only 3 of them show up in the list.
All 7 have gear, all 7 have "status" of normal", all 7 have no materials in their loot. All 7 are in the same castle (coffins are all lined up side by side)
Am I missing something?
Sometimes they die, you gonna have to resurrect them.
Does the blood quality/expertise matter If you are only using for base defense and they are lvl 82?
Yeah the blood quality determines the expertise and influences how much damage they actually do at max level.
cool tip for transporting servants. get on a horse and the servant will disappear until you get off the horse again so no risk of them dying :D
When you send a servant out on a mission do they physically leave the castle and perform the task? Are they prone to player attack?
No.

The game doesn’t need mods. The settings are very in depth as to what you can change . People need to stop trying to mod every game . Yes modding is fun but it’s overused and doesn’t need to be a meta in gaming so please stop advocating for mods with everything
@@paulskarantonakis6230 But you have a choice. So whether they advocate for mods for a certain game is really their choice. Now people like yourself on the other hand have a choice of not using it if you don't want it. It will not affect your gameplay in any shape or form.

i need a answer to this questiong please. Once i put a servent into my coffen and gear it. If i get raided and the raider breaks the coffen do i get that servent back and the coffen?
Well, about the "expertise", I charmed some workers from 88% to 100% (I tried 3 workers), same coffin and they all came with 15% expertise (all the times), later I charmed a warrior on another coffin (less than 100% for sure) but this guy came with 23% ?!?! How is that possible ? What am I missing here ? I think there is something related to the coffins too !!!
how do you keep the mission timer going while you are offline?
I play solo PVE as a host with nobody else in my world. This means the server time is only ticking when I play, which means slow missions and conversion. I think when playing on official (or private) servers, the time keeps going while you are offline, but then you have other folks in your world progressing and building while you're at work or spending time with the family...which is probably fine if you find the right server? I may join a server at some point, but really want a private game world to play and learn in as my preferred style.
so glad we dont have to escort them back to base as there is a the dusk collar which teleports a dominated person back to a jail cell
i have n other question, can u share 1 castle with ur clan or does everyone has to have his own castle?
Your clan gets access to all 4 potential castles you create as a clan
@@LegacyGamingUS but 3 friends and I are playing on an normal pvp server and we made a clan asap and can only place one castle heart so do i need to leave the clan and come back in when i want to have an outpost kind of thing ?
@@linus1824 depends on server settings. Some don't allow multiple castles per clan. Some do. Some allow multiple castles per player too
Can we make the servants to follow us and fight along side with us?
the thralls will help defend your castle when your offline... otherwise no...

I can't believe they are actually considering frequent server resets with such deep and long progression.
Especially since big updates already cause server resets.
Rust is kind of the same way and it does just fine.
On PvP servers that sounds awesome
Id say after 20-30 hours of playtime you can already hit the best gear and endgame with very little to do. The base building isnt really that good such as in games like Valheim and the map is the same everytime so exploration isnt really a factor either. Resets would help the game feel way more fresh.
What are Iron bars for though. I have a bunch, but I don't know what they are for.
They're extremely useful in tier 2, weapons and other utilities need iron to be crafted.
watched the whole thing and still have no clue what type of servants to get ... not really helpful in that regard. just saying "they have different strength" is no information at all.

I moved my castle elsewhere. how do i carry coffins with slaves
If I destroy the coffins and set them up in another castle, will the slaves disappear?
Once you have them set as servants, they cant be moved. What we usually do is keep a room of prisons that we keep collecting high level/high blood combat NPCs. When we move castles, those become our new servants.

Which Servant type will give you the highest amount of expertise?
It’s based on the blood %
Damn the send out timers take way too long as a solo session. Seems fine on a actual hosted server but when you are on your own private session, time doesn't tick when your sessions is down.
Create a solo dedicated server and keep it running

I cant believe no one else has asked this anywhere, but where OH WHERE do servants deposit their rewards from hunts? finally got my first mission to return and it was successful, but no sign of all that lewt.
They carry it on their person. Talk to your servant and grab your goods
Are the thralls still human or have they been turned into vampires themselves?
Vampire myth has it that thralls are still what they were once(whether human or not). Unless the vampire fed on them to convert them into a ghoul or sumn
They don't die to sunlight, silver or garlic if that is what you are asking
Humans that are placed under a spell in order to be obedient. In some lore it's when the vamp feeds on them and doesn't turn or kill them, they become thralls. A Vamp might choose to turn a Thrall further down the line though. Essentially they make thralls to have Fresh blood on hand, but also to do their bidding in the Human world, during the day etc.
Don't forget you can press F to feed during combat and left click immediately to insta kill your target. This is great for quickly finishing off low hp enemies. Keep the videos coming... I'm just getting started in V Rising and am enjoying the content.

So they can't open that door. Useless in pve. Good for pvp
@@dthao227 where would you have these doors for pvp? I'm picturing sending them on missions being difficult if they can't open the front door.
@@KrisxSkeetxSkittles they don't have to actually leave the castle for the missions, so you should have all external doors be locked for them

Just happened: I forgot to close a servant locked door. Servant has entered an area where we spawn skeleton mages from the tombs.
The area was surrouneded by a fence and a gate. Servant (called Allochka) kept opening the gate, hitting a skeleton, closed the gate.
In this process the gate broke into pieces. 20 skeleton mages created an absolute mayhem.
They ran into the castle and started fighting the players. The servant has died. Two lamps were broken (they glow red when they break).
The fence had to be fixed.
Therefore, don't forget to close the f******* door!
Are thralls considered vampires you’ve created that are in service to you ?
Nope not vampires, they are humans under a spell or want to be a vampire. Good example would be the familiars from Blade if you have seen that

Thralls are typically humans that are put under a spell by the Vampire, and they are like minions to them. They are just humans though, when they die they are dead.
And here I thought I could automate crafting with servants… this is such a letdown
Oh so the level of the human does not matter. I have been busting my ass trying to catch humans with high level for nothing
i thought they followed you so they help you while roaming the land but seems they don't :/

The game is good no doubt but it's basically grind in order to be able to grind better. It's Valheim all over again. I am loving it now but I have a feeling it will become really boring in a week or few.
They basically try and keep you busy with building stuff and that is a HUGE minus in my book.
30 bosses and still not enough??

@@zeliph well good luck with that. They will never add "story" questline jn this type of game. Because what? Is about the gameplay loop and player progression.
That entire one minute Outro makes your claims of "we like to keep things short, but 20% of your vid was self promotion, when it could've been 10-20 seconds, it was a full minute ... Sure it doesn't sound like much, but when I find a content creator that I like their content ... I watch the entirety of the vid ... and if there's an extra 1-2 minutes of 'self plugging' in it, I tend to look elsewhere.
Sorry you feel that way. We specifically put it at the end so you don't have to watch that last minute, but it's important as we cover so many games, there is always someone new coming across our content.
