When you're looking for sources to farm x resource, don't forget that sending your minions on mission is another source for it.
It can be worth investing in upgrading your minions' equipment to get them farming things like glass and fish oil
Demone this is the best game I've ever played on release. I instantly bought a 10 slot server with my friends and we're having a blast running around discovering this cruel world.
For $20 you literally can't beat this game. It's flawless.

There is so much to do in this game, I literally spent 6 hours today harvesting everything i could and getting my castle up. I have a room of chests though. I need to start killing the bosses to advance stuff,
Literally no problem with gathering everything except scourgestone.. that was the only material I was a bit frustrated with.. everything else was fun gathering! But scourgestone? Damn…

Scourgestones/Glass are =extremely=important I haven't found a solid farm for either yet, just the monastery and graveyard by the cursed forest
Edit: Having completed and looking back, make sure you get a prison cell early for free blood, save Highland Lotus/start your farm early on (they replenish after harvest) and for the love of god turn up resource collection rate.
Monastery and 2 ancient village in cursed forest is the only place u can farm scourgestones, mob and chest in game respawn after 24h ingame time so u can just go between 3 place collect every chest u found kill every enemies (especially skeleton bishop) then use the 24h respawn time to farm other mats or killing v blood bosses
Glass you just grab tons of Quartz and refine it
Worker blood, a Mace for harvesting, and go make a couple Quartz runs

Yes u can and since u can build a total of 3 castle heart thats mean u can build 2 more place to put teleport at those location that either dont have teleport or too far away from your base
@@SakaiYuji1405 number of castle hearts you can make is a server setting. The default was 1, it later changed to 2, I think 5 is the max supported. Entirely server dependent.
@@ReivecS weird me and my friends make a private server and im pretty sure we set all the settings on default and got 3 heart then go up to 5 after we create a clan and join together, guess imma need to double check tks anyway

Didn’t expect much from the game. Now addicted to it after my friend invited me. Was very hesitant to spend 20 bucks. Now I’m happy as heck I did
I never bother harvesting quartz, ever. I always find glass in Brighthaven when I need it. Cotton I only need in quantity at the T2 phase and only need to hit up about 6 or 7 cotton farms and then never again. At that point, I have enough seeds to plant a cotton farm myself, so. The only resources I find PAINFUL to obtain is of the T3 variety (Silver Ingots). Beyond that, the WORST is finding books for recipes... even with the paper press it's very painful
Gem hunting is time consuming.. I needed 3 regular emerald for my merciless iron spear.. it took about 3 or 4 hours real time to find. One of the harder to find early game resources

pristine hide is from level 60 plus animals in cursed forest and the werewolf village.

You can't charm bosses.
My favorite part of the video “I hope they add a shark tank so that you can gather more fish oil” 🤣
If I go to a new server do I have to re kill bosses? Or does that progression transfer ?

I’m curious, how do you get these materials all the way back to your castle before sunrise?
I can tell that you can teleport to the north side of the map, but it looks like you can’t teleport while holding resources so do you always have to account for like 3 hours at the end of the night to get back and therefore is a horse 100% necessary before you can start resource gathering up north?
1 u can travel in day, just have to jump from shadow to shadow.
2 there are caves that you can use to “teleport” from place to place

"This is important, this is important, this is important"... When everything is important, nothing is. You need it all, it's part of the game, you will use it. Gather everything that you see, simple as that.
Just a heads up you mention Farbane host quartz. That is incorrect. only Dunlay Farms.
I think bear form is imune to silver damage. At least from coins
Could use more plots to put a castle on? Targeting is problematic at times and lag, lag, lag and more lag. Strange it has lag w/only a few ppl on each sever? Maybe to many small servers?
The servers are entirely controlled by the player base. If you are lagging a lot, you are probably using servers located too far away from you.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but in bear form you don't take dmg.
Does the resources like trees, stone etc respawn? Or is it finite
They respawn infinitely unless you block them with buildings

Yeah, they just take a while, they do respawn faster in mines/camps

From the bandits mostly. I have seen them drop from the bandits themselves, the chests and crates in their camps. There may be others, but this is what I am seeing so far.
I haven't found any but 1 yet, but I got the merciless copper mace from a bandit boss.
you can unlock recipes from paper that you get from crates/bandit drops, or you can rng god it and sometiems they drop the recipe itself.
Clive the level 30 boss ALWAYS drops 1 Merciless recipe (random one)

i just wish my private server would pause when no one is online. if you not casualy playing this can be a nightmare keeping te blood up to you base logging in every few days.

So....everything is "important." Got it. Making a counter for really important, really really important and really really really important items. Oh and I need to get as much as I can because it's really really important.
If you think those 11 resources are "everything" in the game, you probably didn't play it yet LMAO.
But sure, some of those you don't need to farm early on (or can't), but all of these are the most farmed items for mid-late game

the most valuable resource is Sage Fish, literally. would give 20 gold bars for a sage fish.
how to get scales
the system requirments say 12 gig ram when yesterday it said 8 gig ram before it was released anyone know if its a mistake or if thats what it is dont want to be using all my ram trying to play it if i need more?
They have had a lot of system messages saying some hardware are having issues the longer you play it. Meaning you have to reload the game a few times to get it to stop. I haven't had very many issues with it, random stuttering from what i assume is people joining\leaving the server

In general this game seems to demand far more system resources than you would expect. I hope this is something that can be improved over time with code optimization but I have a friend I want to play with and his build is 4 years old and struggles hard to keep up. 4 years old isn't that bad of a system for most games but for this one it eats it up. My build is in the top 0.5% of enthusiast gamers and it plays fine but honestly I get higher fps on far more impressive looking games and use less wattage and thus have less heat. It is clearly demanding a lot.
Is the game fun solo? some survival games are not that great solo.
I play solo on my private server. If you want to play solo online, they have solo/duo servers
Yeah I think it is fun solo, just make sure to adjust building requirements so you don't take forever to progress in the game
I have been playing solo and am near the end game. It definitely has some hurtles. Specifically each time you need to move to new materials to make your next level a gear it feels like you have hit a wall. Many times I have felt like I need a group to progress but I eventually find a way around it. I may have to find a great blood type with a blood moon and use a potion, or at least 2 of the 3 of those things and it pushes me over the edge. After that it seems easy again until you hit the next wall. So the difficulty will come in waves but it is doable and in some ways I feel a higher sense of achievement for doing it solo. Also some of the boss fights get the heart pumping. You generally need to master the first 70% of their health pool without taking damage because a lot of the end phases can get intense and the end seems to always be on a knifes edge of who lands that last hit to win. It can be a very rewarding way to play.
I saw the game on steam, was hesitant, got it, played for 20 hours in 2 days. I'm addicted.

Bro. The level of douche bags in this game so far is staggering. People who clearly played the beta know where to hide where bosses are and just wait until your done with the boss and one shot you. It’s happened to me like 3 times.
We just had a bat fly in our base that’s stone and we still can’t figure out how but he got away with all our copper and iron.. rats man 🐀

The combat mechanics are very fluid, this is the most polished early access game I've ever played. Sometimes games deserve the attention they're getting, despite your own personal preferences.
