Man, I love that globe for that lamp. I need 3 globes for my Coleman table lamps. I have one that got a big crack down one side & I'm afraid I'm gonna finish it off. I always use a torch on all my lamps, lanterns and stoves. W Rusty Lane K9POW in eastern Tennessee
Yeah I only run them with the re o laments but they can be pricy I had to look around before I found a drape shade that wasn't clear at the bottom thanks for stoping in brother
That's a sweet lamp I don't have one of those but I have several of the quick lights from Coleman it's on my list of goodies. Thank you for sharing with us D
Are these lamps meant to have a a smaller clear glass globe that protects the mantles? I've seen some that do and I was wondering if the one I was looking at was missing parts or not. The one I've got my eye on is from 1948 if that helps.
Hey brother I've been on the low redoing my rock show man has had me busy lol gonna have a pig blowout for my dad's 80th and he likes to have a rocking time so I'm going way out new lights more lasers Haze and fog dmxing lights its a heavy load I am slacking arnt I lmao hope all is well on the other side brother
@@darrellbigdaddydcarter9224 Just the same I like a layer of glass in between the flame and anything that might touch it, but that's just me. It does give a lovely light, I'll say that much.

It's a really beautiful piece but I think I'd be much too afraid to light it, it seems like such a fire hazard with those exposed mantles.
No more than a lantern brother the trick is to make sure that genarator is good and hot before you turn on the fuel

@@fell5514 some newer lamps actually have a glass and some have a bug screen
@@darrellbigdaddydcarter9224 Now those I'd love to have, would be a hell of a thing to have in a power outage.
@@fell5514 it absolutely is brother
