- Lighting 2 Coleman table lamps that have been sitting for decades. I cleaned the generators on both and replaced the fuel caps with " Amish fuel caps" to get the back up and running.

A couple of Coleman lamps burning! Very cool. Now I have to get mine down and light it up lol. Thanks for the great content!
Very interesting videos. Keep'em coming!
Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying them!
One strand of wire from a bicycle brake cable can clean littke gas jet holes
that was fun, you're luck with the mantle is better than mine. Nice car in background!
Wow it´s amazing!!!
Well there is a lot more lamps than original shades , there was all kinds of milk glass shades, but they are pricey. Coleman made these lanterns until at least 1970 ( wow) and later ones had parchment shades ( yeah, paper) however they had a glass cylinder to channel the heat away, old Coleman parts, has an attachment that allows the use of a regular lantern globe, then you just need a 10 inch, harp mounted straight sided shade, and you are in business .
Could you tell us what you find out about the lamp shades as i have no idea about them either
How many pounds of air do you pump in there
Where did you get the caps with the valves in them ? How much pressure did you pump into the lamps ? Great video .
Ebay, search Amish fuel cap. I put in 25psi, they will hold more, but 25 is enough.
What pressure do you pressurize the fount to?
I run 30 psi. They will hold more, but 30 is plenty.
I need a shade for mine. What did you do for yours? Thank you again.
I still don't have a shade, lol. I watch for them, but they are pricey and I'm leary to have one shipped.
@@cutlersantiques6700 I ended up putting a globe on it from a Northstar lantern. It works a treat, so well that I have been able to run a regular lamp shade on it without it getting too hot. it's not original, but at least I get to enjoy the lamp without frying my eyeballs!
