    This scares me more in a way. Cause they have a history with "Fixing" bugs but add more bugs after the "Fix" is in the game. Then after that they completely ignore any other/further complaints they come across in forms. I'd be hella shocked/surprised if they do fix this without any BS.

    I heard the passengers at stations were fixed, but after the last patch, I didn't see it. You answered my question in that it was fixed and is coming in the next patch. I feel better now. Thanks for posting.

    🚨I noticed that very recently (within last two days or so) my installation of TSW4 and nearly every DLC I have downloaded for it all updated on my Xbox One X console. It happened in the background so idk how big the downloads were, but maybe they actually *fixed* some of the problems finally?? 😅

    I run Train Sim World 4 on my Xbox One X console using the “HD” (Performance) graphics mode. My performance has been buttery smooth in TSW4, seriously even better than TSW3. However, on NEC content (and a few others but I don’t remember exactly which I was trying) I am having issues with graphics de-loading or becoming extremely low resolution up-close. In fact, the issue was so bad during one session that I couldn’t even read the in-cab signaling panel because it became so blurry. I submitted a ticket directly to Dovetail support over a week ago and I still haven’t heard anything back 😢 I did try using the 4K setting even tho I don’t have a 4K monitor/TV and it helped a little but the problem still happened surprisingly often. I’m used to textures popping into existence, not popping OUT of existence and disappearing 😂

      ive only ever played in 4k on both tsw 3 and 4 they run about the same for me. That texture issue has to do with level of detail and how the game handles it. I had it on my xbox one really bad but im also seeing it on 3 where the trains at st pancras get all blocky. For some reason the game is spawning the level of detail for a train thats half a mile away when the train is right infront of you making it look really low poly and low res.

    I think I know why these issues are being caused, I think it's a combination of Unreal Engine, the Devs' setting limits not high enough with their modifications (with regard to polygons, shaders, sounds and so on) for systems to be able to use. Unreal Engine is thus having to work around these limitations while rendering the game. What's causing the limits to be broken? I think it's the combination of an excellently busy route, TOD4 features (lighting, sounds, volumetric clouds and fog), use of old assets form the original NEC route and the terrible implementation of ATC that they've done. This, to me at least, explains the route being so buggy as it is while routes such as Brighton Mainline and Nahverkehr Dresden being completely fine with it.
    SOLUTION: I think the devs should rethink the base foundations of their implementation for UE5, get ported over and update Brighton Mainline to TOD4 standards (class 700 included). This will allow them to create much busier routes than usual. I also think everyone should be given the same timetable and they should have a lightweight piece of AI/code that dynamically adds and removes services from the physics/rendering engine as the gameplay happens, letting the player have a better overall experience.

      Moving to ue5 isn't a solution to anything and it has nothing to do with if dtg can make busier routes. If you want all dlc to port over, it requires several years of work because everything has to be rebuilt. It is no longer just a port. A full fat timetable wouldn't work with everyone. Series s in particular is starting to struggle with a full fat timetable with recent routes. That means every train is loaded in at a station which would cause problems and dynamic loading/unloading wouldn't solve any of that. If there is nothing to unload, then how would it even work. The game already makes it so that ai trains run on no simugraph.

      @@potatoman451 You're right. UE5 is not a solution. But it's a good opportunity to fix a lot of core game issues. If DTG are willing to take this up, it might be the best thing that happens to this game. Knowing them, however, that's not happening.

    They just don’t fix shit. Just push out more routes. My theory is the devs play the routes and just put them out when they are bored of them and do only one single patch at most for the dlcs and just abandoned them.

    What I have concluded is that if you want decent performance run at night or early morning before rush hour. My game has been able to hold up fine even in rush hour with the update. It is a little iffy at NY and SSY.

    Personally, I’m amazed dovetail hasn’t been sued or faced with a lawsuit yet. For how long they been doing these Con like antics. They need to be held accountable and this needs to stop. If they’re doing stuff like this… they’re not developers. They are Con Artists.

    It's poor optimization, not a function of the timetable itself. The new Dresden timetable is pretty busy but runs great. The LIRR timetable is also quite busy and runs fine. Meanwhile the Antelope Valley timetable is rather sparse but also has huge performance issues, especially when pausing and unpausing the sim.

    Hello I love your streams just wanted to say that I was annoyed that the 158 dmu no diesel fumes. Also fans on F125 the main unit not rotating. Also Azuma the fans on roof not working. I feel this is a sim train game. I know not game breaking but I grew up as a kid and remember the smell and fumes from the 158 dmu. I have sent emails and reported this but no luck. Matt said it was a bug on 158 dmu. Why not fixed then. Really upset me. I feel that dovetail not interested in putting the extra detail in there trains. It looks like JUST TRAINS are really doing a good blackpool dlc lots of extra details. 😊

    Honestly im sick and tired how they just blatantly ignores everyone after they pay for content. Better off just buying stuff on sale or not at all Unless something decent comes out TSW4 will be my last purchase for a while i started to end up just playing other games more and more rather than try to play tsw only for it to crash or the timetable randomly lock up 1hr into a service.

    I did not even bother buying TSW4. It's TS Classic and SimRail for me. DTG devs are just a bunch of amateurs. You can't take them serious.
    I am so happy with Asobo studio that DOES take care about MSFS and actually listen to the feedback and actually do anything to solve issues
