If it's advertised for console then make it fucking work on console. Idc about gen 8 but at the very fucking least gen 9 should work fine.

and to add to that the providence Stoughton line is THE busiest of all commuterail lines with worcester/Framingham line being the second.

That's because Train Simulator Classic is PC only. Hint: the problem is consoles. I guarantee TSW would be a much better and bigger game if it was PC only.

Yeah it allows me to spawn as a guard on the 390 where it didn’t previously, but unless I’m just stupid, it won’t let me actually complete the objective, like, I can open the doors and control things, but the objective won’t complete

@uhsheepman9958 for me it just ends as soon as I close the doors. Thats same with all the other routes that we have

The timetable has been fixed already. All platforms, specifically next gen and pc have the full tt now. There were also some issues with the ui showing the wrong number of services but they are all there

@potatoman451 yeah it’s still incredibly disappointing. Nowhere near as busy as it should be. Fawx timetable 50X better in terms of realism.

There's always a chance mods will break after an update. So you can't really get mad at dtg since mods aren't officially supported by them

IF you have the WCML South timetable mod, the creator updated his mod to work with the newest update.

@potatoman451 idk if its a cost thing though. I feel they would make enough from selling any route that uses it to make it worthwhile to be fair.

The issue is there is nobody to create US content. It's only dtg. There's no 3rd parties and then players will get bored and annoyed if dtg only released nec and njt for the next years

Not going to happen, they just implemented our only way to Hop, and it will stay that way. There has been literally no hints at all from DTG, and simply just wishful thinking from players.

Mergers wouldn't be technically possible. The only way is to rebuild the entire thing as one each time the next section comes out and the price would get exponentially larger each time

@@QAGamer yep but that could just be a bridge until they get mergers right and there have been things like “this will be something nice to talk about for the holidays” or “we’ve been waiting to tell you about this” just paraphrasing but i wouldn’t be super pessimistic maybe they care about fans after all 😂

@@potatoman451 I considered the challenges before suggesting this, but they could release the routes separately like now. If you have two or more compatible routes, they could automatically merge, keeping the pricing consistent. Then dtg would just need to rebuild the timetable and adjust some scenery at the transition points. As game developers, this is their job, and it’s not too much to ask, in my opinion. While there are challenges, it’s certainly possible.

@@JayKLA97 It's not as simple as automatically merging and everything works perfectly. Signals and simulation stop working and many other things. That's like rebuilding the route. it's not as easy as you make it sound

The problem is TSW does not give two s**** about America or American routes which is funny considering America does more railroad anything than any other place in the entire world😂

I've also seen a bunch of players unhappy with the uk content that's been announced. Here's the thing. Dtg are working with a budget. They have to release content with a certain time frame and work within their budget so they can't create one dlc with everything

@potatoman451 Oh please, they have a route at least, yea its not all the way to Clapham Junction or so..oh yea not to mention a hint of the update timetable for WCML south....All we have is locos and ohh glory for something that could've been released with the Metrolink route...so again US base always gets the bottom of this...and for your information, I don't expect everything...if I did, I would suggested or demanded the entire LIRR map for tsw5 but I know they cant

The reuse of the BR 111 is just absolutely ridiculous. It could easily just be a timetable layer. Even the modders in train sim community could do that 100% free or charge.

It's incredible! I'm using God Mode (for wider FOV + custom ini injection for each route). The presets for it were created by Jetwash on TSC. The download links are in the description! It was even smoother without the recording. For some reason when OBS encodes the video, it can seem a little jittery at times like the framerate isn't constant when in actuality, it is. Working on trying to fix this.

I'm gonna try and get around to that, but as of right now I can say it's one of the best. 100% recommend at full price and I can't say that about most routes lol.

It’s 100% worth the money! At first, I was skeptical spending $44 USD but probably my favorite purchase for TSW to date!
