thanks a lot really! i think i might have tonguing problems as well, as i think im using like my jaw to tongue instead of my actual tongue. if that makes sense lol. anyways ty for this, good luck on your playing!
youre doing great and youre still so young, you can go places if you keep enjoying the process! Don't punish yourself, mistakes are a sure part of the process. What makes the great players great is having made more mistakes than worse players.
You make me laugh because your "mistakes" are actually wonderful sounding. That's actually great improvisation that makes great trumpet players so unique. Turn a "mistake" into something beautiful like a great jazz player. Those aren't mistakes they are musical creations and I'd go with it. Ad lib and improv and keep going it's perfect as it is. You'll soon realize how special it is and part of your individual character. Don't let the score control you, you make it do what you want it to do. Feel it!
thank you!! the thing that gets me the most is the slur from D to F (last 2 notes of the run) because they're the same fingerings. i guess I could try and use an alternate fingering for the D, but that would trip me up a lil
do itt!!!!! ever since i started watching ian fraser do it, I've been wanted to try it too. after a month or so of watching jumpycan's series, I finally started lol. i've only done 2 days but its fun. definitely start!
yeah spot on except ive got 3. junior jazz is just grade 9s only and anyone can join, tbh stageband is an audition based one, and blues alley is another audition based one. junior is easiest, tbh is more advanced, and blues-alley is most advanced
6:03 this was pretty nice dang
thank you! i should prob just work on that slur part at the end at a slower tempo to try and get it right

You have a powerful sound and a nice attack! I struggle to have consistency. My tonguing is bad. Good to listen to you!
