The first rule applies only to wolf turns, not other roots. It is desribed in section 7.2.1d of the Code published on May, 12th 2021: "Only one turn (pirouette) in tuck stand on one leg (BB & FX) will receive DV, in chronological order".

Here's the thing: I wonder whether the option of rolls, flairs and circles will actually bring them back, because I imagine gymnasts have trained for years for a different style of gymnastics? I'm thinking that the Code is just being changed to gratify the viewing audience, not for legitimate athletic reasons. In fact, the emphasis on harder dismounts increases the risk of injuries, which is *against* the athletes' best interests. I'm beginning to feel guilty about following gymnastics, because I feel my interest is propping up an ultimately exploitative system, with no concern for the long term health effects of constantly pushing gymnasts to attempt more spectacular elements, which increases the risk of overuse injuries as devastating falls.

In my opinion, I just don't see a clear goal or direction in which this sport is moving. I've noticed a pattern in the last couple of quads: one Code will introduce a new rule, then it creates a "problem" and in the next Code they try to "fix it".
Just like I mentioned in the video:
      - new rule: eliminating the D+ dismount requirement.
      - problem created: gymnasts doing C-dismounts.
      - how to "fix it": give +0.2 bonus if you perform a D-dismount.
To me, it just feels like taking 2 steps forward and 1 step backward but you're still standing in the same spot...

I am so glad to see that gymnasts will be rewarded for more difficult dismounts. All those simpler dismounts were getting boring after a while, I can see why some gymnasts opt to do a C dismount under the current rules but it makes it boring for the spectator and the gymnastics fan who would love to see a more spectacular, difficult dismount.

    Essas mudanças são limitantes!
É diferente quando ,por motivo de SEGURANÇA, um movimento é banido. Agora vai ficar tudo padronizado e a criatividade será punida. Estão tentando favorecer alguém?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Just to clairify: the first rule refers to the root to the turn, so can do 2 turns in a row so long as the legs are in a different position. For example if somone does a Wolf turn then stands and does a turn with leg at hip level that's okay?

B+F, B+G... dismounts still have a 0.2 connection value? Because if they do, a round off triple full, for example, will give an extra 0.4 alone!

I think that the gymnast should wear a different kind of leotard now I know one of the countries had a leotard that had like I don't know like shorts or little bit of a length and somebody said that Simone biles was jealous when she saw the saw the other team war just with all the crazy things going on up there in this day and age I just really think they should change there I don't know two more appropriate leotard to just Hi how are you okay

@@rosefritchman7829 Predators are predators. It has NOTHING to do with what someone wears. He abused athletes in other college sports as well. He even abused girls with their parents in the room. Swimmers and divers wear tiny suits, track athletes wear small shorts and tops... what a woman wears doesn't invite abuse. That said, I'm happy to see they can wear leos or unitards or whatever makes them comfortable.

I think forward tumbling on beam is the most interesting new things. Walk over front, aerial walkover to front. I would love to see and actually handspring front,
