I have been shopping around and test driving the EQS and EQE, I have never seen one that opens and closes the doors and can't find any options for it either.
Wonder if Prince Charles would consider electrics - wonder about the quality of the Navigation on both, great pace on the Tesla given the difference in release...Then again I suppose they would go for a hybrid to the likes of a Ferrari 296...

I purchased new the 2016 Model X -- overall unsatisfactory, particularly recently service/maintenance. My most favorable replacement is this EQS 580! I'm ready for its reliability and class! But have to wait 8 months for it to be built, then delivered from Germany to Texas.

I like the look of the tesla. But the design is so common on the streets these days, that I've lost interest. I prefer the EQS, in every category. Cabin is in another league.

The EQS is a better cars in so many ways. It has higher range, more comfort and a better interior aswell as a better quality in all parts. The new model s is better but has still no chance to compete with the EQS. The Tesla is just like a sporty smartphone on wheels. But its build quality, comfort and still is just lame.

Secondly the charging times of the EQS are shorter especially to 100% soc. This comes from the EQS flat charging curve. In terms of safety the EQS also received a higher rating. And the EQS offers optional real autonomous driving for the Autobahn. Tesla isn't capable of this. And to answer your question. The EQS demand is as high as the s class one. This demand is higher than that of the model s and the Porsche Taycans.

If the car is of high quality or, as you claim, excellent, it can never be brought to its knees by a car that has less power - that is not technically possible if it is excellent. A car with 100HP less or 200HP less can never win - unless it's ultra-light compared to the Tesla Plaid. Unfortunately the car was even heavier, had less torque and also had 400HP less power .. that's a big mockery of the quality of the Tesla Plaid... plus it kneels for the second time it's unbelievable... It's not a car, it's scrap... trash Teslas have superior ROAD PRESENCE. 🤣😂😅

No comparison really. The Mercedes is a much nicer ride - the S really needs to change the look of the car after 7 years. It really looks old. I will say that the color combinations chosen for the EQE (white and macchiato/gray) with silver wheels are much nicer than the dark gray/black S. It’s a terrible combination that emphasizes the starkness of the interior. An S with beige/ walnut interior looks a lot better. Would I spend my money on one - nope. Would I spend my money on the EQE - maybe. The interior is nice, but a little gimmicky and I’m not a fan of the jelly bean exterior. I would definitely spend my money on an S580, though.😉

There is no comparison against any Mbusa cars they have made. I don't know anything about any Tesla cars at all. The window button on the Tesla is the same button on my C55 AMG 2005. Guess Tesla was out of option, rather than to copy. The EQS never seems to amaze me in every accept.

As far as I'm concerned, the German carmakers lost the battle on electric cars. Yes, on building quality, still the Germans are best. But as far as technology is concerned, the Germans loose big time. Look at brands as Hyundai and Kia who defeat the VAG concern big time on technology. Range, battery capacity and charging, Kia and Hyundai do best. In the luxury segment, Tesla is king. Apart from performance, 250 Kw and more charging. Where are the Germans?
