I think this may be because your hips are not quite squared. You want to make sure your shoulders and hips are nice and squared when you're doing splits. And it may help to start off at less than a full split to make sure you're squared, and then gradually progress to a split and hopefully you can be more squared, and this will help you bring your back leg up when its bent rather than falling over. Hope this helps!
I'm back on binging again, haha. Can I ask on how do I know if my oversplits are in the right position? When I oversplit my right leg, my left usually feels pain.

I've been doing rg for 12 years now and am still working on my flexiblity. It definitely takes a long time and consistent work to develop flexiblity
