2009-2012 750. V8 turbo is a no no unless you want a lot of maintenance/stuff breaking. Get the 2013+ 750 because it’s facelift model. A lot of the unreliability in the 2009-2012 was fixed in the 2013 and later models. AMAZING VIDEO, there’s a lot one should research when buying a benz/bmw, can never be too careful !

I had this same exact car. The factory wheels are a nightmare. I had slow leaks where the rim had a hairline crack in it. The rims are about $1000 each. SO when I seen you with different rims and tires I knew why. Its a sporty car with luxury. It is a stylish car that looks good driving any occasion.

I didn't want to do a 6 cylinder but I also didn't wanna deal with the potential engine issues of the N63 F01s. I also feel you on trying not to be to flashy. Unfortunately, the twin screw v8 in the F01 7 series has a terrible track record. This car will give needless problems within first 50k miles of ownership, and every 10k miles thereafter. Best F01 motor is the twin scroll 6 cylinder. Far less cost of ownership, motor can be tuned to 400 hp at the crank. I personally declined buying any of these, and chose to stick with my 2001 7 series. No regrets.
I thought the same thing. If I pick up an F01 it’ll definitely be a 740 xdrive or diesel xdrive. Any twin turbo V8 from BMW is unfortunately a ticking time bomb.
The n63/s63 has an active service call through BMW. So if you were to get any 50i or M you would be able to take it in to any BMW dealer for all the preventive maintenance, up to and including a new engine for as low as 5% the total cost... so with this information you can select a vehicle around the given criteria and purchase a relatively low risk or risk free 750i or any 50i series. Not the biggest flagship bmw has. Technically that would be the 750Li. Also... I don't think there were any 21" stock wheels for that car. The 760Li had 20s, 750 had an option for 19s, & /or chrome i think.
