FYI - Charleston Car Videos on TH-cam Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.
The only issue with this one is the twin turbo- they found out years later that it put stress on fuel pump and other vital components and one turbo was finally removed .
Good review but you need to drop the background music it interfered and was in conflict with what you were saying.

It's a base model with hella miles its worth 4k to 6k max and your buying a bunch of near future problems. And that's the truth
on an 09 yes. bmw knocked it out of park with the redesigned engine for 2014-2018 N63TU engine.....cheers!!!!
The King they definitely improved the v8 engine for those years but I wouldn’t say knocked it out of the park just yet. When the engine hits 10 years old that will be the test. Time will tell how the redesign holds up.
They had problems where they smoke and burn oil the valve seals was bad but Bmw fixed them but must people didn’t no and didn’t get them back to Bmw in time to fix them

So nice, I own one. But unfortunately this car was with that many miles is worth 5k to $8k max. Mine has 70,000 miles fully loaded to the max($109 Msrp). And I'll be lucky to get $11k. It's a shame. The car is a freaking gem

The F01 (2009-2015) was a HUGE improvement over the E65 (2002-2008), trading the "Bangle Butt" (Chris Bangle) styling for more traditional styling, and improved electronics that didn't have as many issues. :)
It wasn’t even Chris bangles fault he only approved the model to be released but he actually didn’t style it

Look over everything and make sure it’s not full of rust. I’ve noticed some vehicles that are priced really well and don’t really have a whole lot of issues but they’re northern cars in full of rust. Also take it for a test drive more than 15 minutes the vehicle needs to get warmed up and build up some compression and then see how well it’s doing after a good 2030 minute drive. And seriously test drive it some dealers won’t let you go on the interstate and drive it for more than 10 15 minutes to me that’s always a red flag

I own one and if you didn’t take it back to Bmw to get the care package fix’s on it don’t buy it you can call Bmw and give them the vin and they will let you no if it was fixed if not it’s going to smoke and burn oil Bmw had to fixed them because it was a lawsuit against Bmw for that problem dec of 2019 the lawsuit expired so now you have to pay out of pocket and that’s like 8000 if Bmw do it

So expensive to maintain, car seems to be in good condition, but with BMWs everything fall apart if you don't keep up with the maintenance
ummm...if you know how to service it then it aint bad at all. if you depend on stealerships for your maintenance then the Lord be with you
