Thank's for the great review. I was looking to purchase a daily driver and some of my friends were trying to steer me towards the Mazdaspeed 3. Looks like the GTi is the way to go. It just comes across as better overall balanced car and it seems like your getting way more quality for your money.
Dudeee, you can't have a car like that in automatic, that car deserves to be driven in manual!
Boo Baa As much as I prefer manual, everyone has their own taste and if they want to spend their money on automatic transmission then damn it they should.
Boo Baa a manual is more fun on a track but for daily driving a manual is a pain in the ass i regret buying a manual for daily driving to be honest
@@JMNTN I drive a manual cooper. Stiffer clutch than the VWs. No ragrets! Always fun to drive a manual.

And, awesome vid of a great car. Do the heated seats, air-conditioned glove box and center info screen thing come on the models after 2010 or are they unique to the '12?
Im putting the front sway on soon because I've heard from the guys who race these things that the front helps keep camber in check on corner exit so helps carry speed and put power down better. I can feel how a front will make a big difference. Rear alone is still great though

it's a great car. a friend of mine bought one. only problem was had it had to put 1l of oil after the first 6000 mi. drove it it's great!

good point. I will still stand though that modern engines don't need break ins.
In my state you can drive with a temporary registration sticker on your rear window until your plates arrive in the mail. Pretty convenient.

What cam did you use? I can tell it's a DSLR, was it on manual focus or auto? Pretty quick focus.
Nice car dude! I got a base DSG 4door too but mines black. You just should me something new cause I did not know about the first aid kit HA!
I have this exact model (4 door base, United Gray, DSG)...LOVE IT. Only problem I've had is my iphone 4S doesn't want to connect using the VW media cable...not sure why. Otherwise, this is like Christmas morning every time I drive it!

bought my gti a couple months ago, 4 door, white, sunroof nav package. and i was in the same situation you were in. i will tell you that the gti sounds a little better and is more sporty, between the seats, exhaust note, and dual exhaust. i SERIOUSLY beileve you should buy a gti over a gli. hope i helped and whatever you get they are great cars.
VW makes world class cars! I've owned many vehicles, including Lexus, BMW, and Lincoln, and I have to say, VW makes fantastic cars! I had 2 GTI's, a Scirocco, and a CC, all built well and a blast to drive!
Very nice GTI, surprised it didn't come with the R rear LED tail lights thought they were standard from 2011.

Haha, we have cold weather 9 months of the year here in Oregon, so 81 F seems hot for us.
