Recently when I play Call of Duty, there are times where the connection is interrupted and it kicks me out of the game. I know it's not the game disks but it's something else. Does anyone have an explanation? And it usually happens every multiplayer match.
i'm not even going to change my pre-like applied to this video, over e.t. in today's world, sure maybe it's abyssmal. (blechh yt) but at the time, the best games on the atari, were tanks or pitfall. although, the character may not truly resemble e.t, how do you say this was the coolest technology in the world at that time. every other content i've seen here, excels in comparison to anything else.

Just from my personal observations is the reason people keep buying CoD is the hopes of it getting better. The mindset of “oh this will be the one” “this will be where it start getting better” “this will be the game that goes back to its roots”. Like watching a bad season of a show you love. You keep watching hoping it’ll get better even though you know it won’t but you tune in with hope

There was a lot of hype and ambition leading into this, followed by a disasterous product unlike anything of its time. It's true that there are Sonic-games that are objectively worse, like Sonic Free Riders or Rise of Lyric, but there was no game in the series quite as disappointing... not even Forces let players down as much as '06. Just imagine the hype and initial release of No Man's Sky and you'll get what I mean. Although to give credit to NMS, Hello Games managed to turn that wreck around and fix it into what it should've been from the start, and then some! Hell, today I'd even unironically recommend you buy NMS, if you like the exploration/survival genre.
That's actually a myth. E.T. didn't do it by itself. Neither did the equally derided 2600 Pac-Man. The problem was too many bad games from third party publishers flooding the market. Once coders from Atari broke away to form Activision and Imagic, it broke Atari's monopoly on the console and led to others trying to cash in, often with some goddamn awful games that made E.T. look like Assassin's Creed. But the market wasn't just the 2600 either. Other platforms experienced similar quality issues around that time. And, again, it wasn't just quality issues. It was too many games from too many publishers chasing too few customers. That's why when Nintendo and SEGA entered the market, they made sure no third parties could publish games for their platforms and had some quality control in place.
When talking about Halo 5, you forgot to mention the false advertising campaign that was the original trailers, and the Hunt the Truth audio series. I actually used this as a prime talking point in my senior Capstone paper on Marketing in the Video Game industry, and got full marks on it.
Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. E.T: The Extra Terrestial 2. Aliens: Colonial Marines 3. Fallout 76 If were talking most hated video games, I would rank these how I hated the most, however, I agree with top 3 in that order because of how poor the games were made, especially E.T, why is that a game? I can understand this was made in the 80s, but it's too early for a game like that.

If there's one COD I will defend with a passion, it's Infinite Warfare. The hatred it got was extremely unfair. The campaign is one of the best in the series and very fun. Really wish Activision would have just delayed the game until next year. They could have released COD4 Remaster instead that year.
Glad Aliens made the list. I'm surprised you didn't mention the class action lawsuit from disgruntled fans against the project. I was so hyped that on release day, I had friends over, we watched Aliens on the projector, and then proceeded to play the game. Umm...at least we got to see the film. That part was fun.

It's sad to see that ''the entire Call of Duty franchise'' is on this list. ALOT of games in the Series are amazing! I even still play some of them on my PS2 and PS3.
ME:A was a great game, it had the best combat of the series, the characters were almost all great, bit of a generic story but I found it enjoyable. It was just impossible to follow up, in my opinion, the best trilogy in gaming history.
@@MrEcoho mass effect 1 is my least favourite of the entire series, even with the quality of life improvements with the remastered trilogy its still a slog of copy/paste side missions, empty maps with pointless collectibles, even the other characters werent great, Garrus was, but both Ashley and Kaiden were improved drastically in 2 and 3, Liara was boring, but again massively improved in 2 and 3 when she actually was given a personality, wrex and tali were decent. The main story is great though, whereas ME:A had the opposite issue for me, I feel the side characters were brilliant, the side missions were far more fascinating and the maps had a fair bit to explore, its the main story that was a bit meh haha
What about Grand Theft Auto the Definitive Trilogy, Saints Row (2022), and/or the 2017 version of Star Wars Battlefront II? I know all three were seriously hated upon release.
I have two things... 1. Fortnite is popular because it sold out. And I don't mean like Metallica, it sold out when Goku and Rick became skins and Travis Scott did a concert on it. 2. Sonic '06 suffered form poor execution. SEGA wanted the game out by that Christmas and didn't give developers enough time to refine the game graphically, and thematically. I may be in the minority here, but I would like a remastered and refined version of that game for the Switch.
Why isn't cyberpunk on here? It was a disaster on release that they got sued, lost the case, and gave refunds to anyone who wanted the refund for the game

I'm never going to let go of the anger I had with Aliens Colonial Marines. There was so much promis with that game. If they could give it to another studio to fix a lot of the issues with the campaign story and remaining bugs, it could probably redeem itself. The multiplayer wasn't even that bad, not as good as AvP but I still had fun.
Maybe it's time people realize that TLOU2 has been mostly loved all around the world, but a really noisy and vocal minority coming mainly from the US kept crying and crying and crying until the general perception of the game was that a lot of people hated it. But that was just a bubble

Why does no one ever mention the worst problem with Mighty No 9? The way you kill the enemy by shooting THEN smashing into them takes the game from perfectly good Megaman clone to totally unplayable!
Great levels, good gameplay despite it's flaws, hell even Shadow and Silver's story were good (Sonic's story can be thrown in the trash though) Not saying 06 is good, far from it, just not as bad as people say it is.
I've played "Call of Duty" and watched my brother play "Fortnite", people play "Halo", and a live stream of people playing "Sonic the Hedgehog" and I don't hate these video games! In fact, I'm considering playing "Fortnite" with a group and I love Sonic! Tom made a good point about why "Call of Duty" is hated. All the other games on this list look like fun!

For the most part, I'm still a Call of Duty fan but not like I used to be. I actually don't hate Vanguard's multiplayer but it's not anything revolutionary and the campaign was trash, and filled with nonstop cutscenes (you can skip them but there were still too many).

I think ET gets too much hate. There are many games that were far worse than ET, even on the Atari 2600. It's just games like Custer's Revenge weren't as high-profile as ET. As they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
"There have been a plethora of bad Sonic games..." Yeah, no need to state the obvious. And BTW I LOVED Mario Party 9. The music, the character selection, the animation and the minigames were awesome. Sure the vehicle mechanic was new but it didn't really take much away from core gameplay.
EA/Dice recently released a video celebrating 20 years of Battlefields...with that kind of back catalogue to draw upon it does make you wonder about those in charge.
Right now my most hated game is Mario Strikers: Battle League, it lacks content, it's slow, it's repetitive and it has free updates that no one asked for!
You know, there is one thing that i may add about Fallout 76. With the game is about heavy grinding, a lot of the new players kinda missed out on a lot of weapons mainly the legacies. Legacy are basically weapons (or their legendary effects) that are no longer available due to Bethesda removing them for unknown reason. Now most of these weapons can deal a lot of damage since these weapons have legendary effects that is not possible to get even in Fallout 4 like Explosive Bullets rounds at an energy weapon. This may be the cause of some people dont wanna play Fo76 because many called it unfair. There is also the rumour of duplication of legacies due to glitches and hacked weapons on an online game. People may still get their hands on a legacy if they have something they can trade for it. But since legacies are super rare, the people who have them wants super rare items (like items that have a chance of 1% to 1 in 1000 chance to get) or weapons with very good effects (or god roll) that would take countless of roll to get. So yeah, i'll say this game is only worth it to play if they want that Fallout lore and not the grindiness.
They were not removed for unknown reasons they were removed because they are unintentional effects like you mentioned the explosive energy weapons being the main one. And the rumors of duping are not rumors but confirmed these weapons have been duped like crazy. So they are some of the most common weapons in the game and not rare at all. Just highly valued because of their power and status
Okay, people are gonna wanna shoot me for this, but I like Sonic 06. This isn’t a joke or sarcasm, I genuinely do like the game. It’s got a great antagonist, a cool story, amazing music. Yeah the animation was usually terrible and the gameplay too, but I like the game despite that.
No mention of sims 4, when compared to previous games with better content. No mention of Rollercoaster tycoon series after RC3?? The series took a huge nose dive!
Lol I went to my little brother house and he had like 30 copies of fallout 76 user guides for his eBay business and I told him to sale them for a quarter a piece and told him why and was like no wonder I haven't sold one single copy of it yet lol

Fallout 76 is beyond amazing now. my only complaint is that the junk box from the Fallout 1st pass is a NEED.

Played it yesterday , even had fun . At release it was tedious but now its actually a all right shooter

I heard that part of the problems were literally typos in the code fucking up the AI and that fan mods fixed a fuckton of the issues.
There was an instance of "teather" in the code rather than "tether". Fixing that single error made the xenos' AI serviceable enough.

I've played "Call of Duty" and watched my brother play "Fortnite", people play "Halo", and a live stream of people playing "Sonic the Hedgehog" and I don't hate these video games! In fact, I'm considering playing "Fortnite" with a group and I love Sonic! Tom made a good point about why "Call of Duty" is hated. All the other games on this list look like fun!

Because it's not hated so much as it's just considered to be a poorly-made game. A game can be considered bad without receiving hatred for whatever reasons e.g. a failure to live up to high expectations, comparing it with it's predecessors, it's popular to hate on it etc.
Why buy any game for 60 bucks when you can buy 30 games for those 60 bucks in some places
For the most part, I'm still a Call of Duty fan but not like I used to be. I actually don't hate Vanguard's multiplayer but it's not anything revolutionary and the campaign was trash, and filled with nonstop cutscenes (you can skip them but there were still too many).

I think ET gets too much hate. There are many games that were far worse than ET, even on the Atari 2600. It's just games like Custer's Revenge weren't as high-profile as ET. As they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

And BTW I LOVED Mario Party 9. The music, the character selection, the animation and the minigames were awesome. Sure the vehicle mechanic was new but it didn't really take much away from core gameplay.
Nobody hates the ENTIRE Call of Duty franchise.

EA/Dice recently released a video celebrating 20 years of Battlefields...with that kind of back catalogue to draw upon it does make you wonder about those in charge.
Right now my most hated game is Mario Strikers: Battle League, it lacks content, it's slow, it's repetitive and it has free updates that no one asked for!
You know, there is one thing that i may add about Fallout 76. With the game is about heavy grinding, a lot of the new players kinda missed out on a lot of weapons mainly the legacies. Legacy are basically weapons (or their legendary effects) that are no longer available due to Bethesda removing them for unknown reason. Now most of these weapons can deal a lot of damage since these weapons have legendary effects that is not possible to get even in Fallout 4 like Explosive Bullets rounds at an energy weapon. This may be the cause of some people dont wanna play Fo76 because many called it unfair. There is also the rumour of duplication of legacies due to glitches and hacked weapons on an online game. People may still get their hands on a legacy if they have something they can trade for it. But since legacies are super rare, the people who have them wants super rare items (like items that have a chance of 1% to 1 in 1000 chance to get) or weapons with very good effects (or god roll) that would take countless of roll to get. So yeah, i'll say this game is only worth it to play if they want that Fallout lore and not the grindiness.
They were not removed for unknown reasons they were removed because they are unintentional effects like you mentioned the explosive energy weapons being the main one. And the rumors of duping are not rumors but confirmed these weapons have been duped like crazy. So they are some of the most common weapons in the game and not rare at all. Just highly valued because of their power and status

Okay, people are gonna wanna shoot me for this, but I like Sonic 06. This isn’t a joke or sarcasm, I genuinely do like the game. It’s got a great antagonist, a cool story, amazing music. Yeah the animation was usually terrible and the gameplay too, but I like the game despite that.
