Tip. Leave 1” between your desks for pinch points. This is to prevent finger injury when desks are raising/lowering

I haven't had any experience with standing desks. I was considering getting one eventually. I was looking at the New Heights Elegante XT4. It looked quite impressive with the double lateral supports and double the lift columns. I also like that it is built in the USA.

The walnut desks look nice. I'm very happy with my current desk but the walnut desk shelf looks like it might have to replace my IKEA one in the near future.

It's almost impossible to find a pre-made monitor shelf/risener that's at 6-inch tall. All I can find are 4" max. I ended up building one myself using bits from Ikea and Amazon.
I use a fixed height standing desk as I find it way more stable than any adjustable ones. Only bummer is that I am limited in choice of chairs. I got a drafting chair and 33" standing seat height is the highest I can find.
