The SUV 3008 has not only conquered the criticism, but also the many Italian customers who have chosen it so far. They were more than 40,000 items sold specimens on the peninsula since it entered the market conquering a dense crowd of admirers for its design highly SUV, but with the style distinctive of the latest generation Peugeot, for the quality and technology truly innovative that It elevates the security but also the pleasure of driving .
Technology that today is even more confirmed by the renewed range of engines, all able to comply with the Euro 6.2 regulations . Engine that leads to the debut also the new 6-speed manual transmission, even more precise and silent in the grafts.
The protagonist of the 3008 range, however, remains the 8-speed automatic transmission (EAT8) as standard or on request on different engines in the range, both petrol and Diesel. The new PureTech 180 petrol adopts it as standard and this combination allows to enhance the dynamic characteristics of this new entry into the range.
Since the "Car of the year" election in 2017, Peugeot 3008 has received 45 awards during these months.
From Alghero to Bosa and then even further down, to Piscinas: from the dunes of South America, where Sainz took her to victory in the Dakar 2018, to the dunes of Sardinia, with sand to act as a fil-rouge to the two adventures, a more extreme, the other little more than tourist.

And there is no need to put the wheels on the sand of the extraordinary dunes of Piscinas, even if it is precisely where the bottom becomes more difficult that you perceive it more, that you appreciate the Advanced Grip Control, a plus that creates the 3008 and those who drive an absolute feeling and a feeling of control and predictability that make each transfer a pleasant journey.
An advice to make an unforgettable adventure in Sardinia: in addition to driving a 3008, remember to coast counterclockwise, just so you will always have the best view of the sea.

Can anybody ensure me about the diesel motor of 3008 model please. Been year and half i am driving peugeot 3008 manual 1.5 lt gtline 130 hp 2019 model. Some people gave me some negative comments about French cars. Now i am very much worried

I always take my 3008 when off road on 40 degrees slopes and ask the person with the wrangler to descent it :-)
Now imagine all those little rocks hitting that pearl white colour :-(
This is off the road - not a real off-road driving. Even a half-decent saloon car will have no problem navigating these roads.

does anyonw here own this car? if so, can you drive on sand? like beach’s sand??? and not the flat part..
I have it, but I didn't use it in sand yet. I can tell you that I had to go out from my courtyard with 15 cm of snow and with the factory m+s tyres, I have not been able. Not even a meter. With grip control on snow mode, of course.
this is an awd not a 4wd :)) on sand you'll need someone to get you out. As you saw there is no off-road in the video; well...except the title which is misleading.

@@toshiRogue well it depemds on the tires and consistency of the sand. The fluffier it is the harder to travel will be. however, given the ratio between the weight, power and torque I`d say you better stay on hard ground

This car is not an SUV. Utility factor is almost absent. An SUV should be able to drag a small boat on a trailer along a beach and do some rock and hill climbing. To do all those things, the vehicle should have 4 wheel drive transmission with a locking gearbox. The only vehicle in this class that can be properly called an SUV is the Jeep Renegade. The Peugeot 3008 is just a Hatchback with higher ground clearance.
