    Got it for a couple of month.
    So satisfied by this car . Fed up with old design
    Things who is not frequetly said:
    - Suspensions are very good,
    - Silence inside is impressing
    - Road holding is very good
    - Turning radius is impressive as well ( easy to park )

    Great review, thank you. I went into my local Peugeot dealership just to have a look at a 3008, expecting I would need a 1.6 turbo petrol. The salesman gave me the keys to a 1.2 auto Allure model and told me to take it out and see if I still thought I required a 1.6. I came back after 20 minutes and ordered a 1.2 auto. If anyone had told me a few days earlier that I would be replacing my BMW 520D with a Peugeot I would have burst out laughing. I have HUD on my BMW, which is brilliant, but the i-Cockpit is even better. The interior of the 3008 blows everything else out of the water.

    • @dufonrafal

      Yepn this 1.2is really great. But of course, the 1.6 is still better

      You should be a car reviewed ;) Pretty much sums up what so many people are saying about it! i-Cockpit is stunning. When will yours arrive? Will you be sad to say goodbye to the BMW? SW

    • @klackon1
      @klackon1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mine should arrive at the end of July. Will I miss my BMW? Yes, to a degree. It is black with a black leather interior and piano black finishers. Though it does look good when polished, there is, perhaps, too much black. I have heated seats and steering wheel and the previously mentioned head up display. It also also has the drop down rear seat option. I have a spare set of BMW alloys fitted with winter tyres. It is a brilliant car but I am looking forward to my 3008, as the interior is so stylish.

    • @newmotoring
      @newmotoring  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Black on black on black is a bit too much... Light interiors always look good on black cars. Heated steering wheels are dreamy in the winter, alloys with winter tyres is a smart move. You'll enjoy the 3008, though. Interior isn't BMW quality but it's a much more interesting place to spend your time.

    • @klackon1
      @klackon1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Well, I've owned my 3008 Allure for almost a month (it arrived early) and I am not missing my BMW at all. The 1.2 auto is even better than I expected and it is certainly not underpowered. I've had no problems overtaking on main roads or motorways and I've not even used the sport mode yet. I've completed 760 miles on all types of roads and it is up to the job. It drives very nicely on country roads at 60 mph (where safe to do so) as easily as my BMW did. I've had no problems joining traffic on busy motorways and it picks up nicely when having to sprint between lanes. It is a comfortable car with a great driving position. Averaging 44 mpg at the moment - but I have carried out more urban runs than I normally would in the time I have owned it.

    What?? The previous 3008 was a great car. It tows well and looks interesting. It is eye catching with its rear lights and big front grille. It wasn't simply a box because it doesn't look like one. It also had a good interior by the way. It was a good design and was well built.

    • @newmotoring
      @newmotoring  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair enough, they have made some brilliant looking cars in the past. I always really liked the RCZ! But the 3008 just feels like a step forwards, somehow - there are some really cool details on the outside and the interior is super-impressive. SW

      Oh, that sucks... I know 3008 production had to be halted because there was a supplier factory fire, and the 3008 was also more popular than they expected so I think 5008 production has just been delayed more and more. • @allanbriggs807
      @allanbriggs807 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 2.0L diesel is the best engine for the Peugeot. It has been proven over a long period of time. It has plenty of power and it just keeps going. I had a 2012 308 HDi (2.0L diesel) Brilliant. Just sold it to buy a 2022 3008GT - again a 2.0L diesel. They tell me that 2022 is the last of the 2.0L diesels in Australia. Not sure about O/S.
