Peugeot has put a noticeable effort to introduce such a refined car in all aspects safety stability comfort driving experience and I hope it will be durable as old models sold in 80s

Curtain airbag should only deploy in side impact or rollover crash, it's safer as it can be deployed if the car was to turn over after a frontal crash, I work in safety design do know this. Unlikely for the driver to be knocked unconscious from that anyway! 👍🏼

Conor Cränks actually most curtains are designed to stay inflated after to protect from other impacts by the way other cars they deployed the side curtain in the frontal crash
+PrinceDarkness yes many cars are designed like that. For example the Audi models. but in Peugeots case the curtain airbags are designed to deploy if needed. They can deploy after a frontal collision has taken place if the car was to say roll over or be hit again to the side or quarter panel (pile up crash situation). They also deploy in the event of a more serious frontal impact. The airbag control unit is designed in this way. Also the leading "adaptive front airbags®" can deploy to different capacity's. Driver 40L and passenger 80L. This technology along with the impact absorption systems built into Peugeots '.08' models is what keeps the brand up top with safety technology and development.
