Which dish from the new vegan menu are you eager to try? Or, if you could add any vegan dish to the menu, what would it be? Spill the beans... or, should we say, the chickpeas below! 👀👇💬
I applaud them for more vegan menu items added. I have nothing but respect for those non-meat eaters. My daughter-in-law was raised and is vegetarian due to her culture. We traveled in England and France and always found plenty of options there.
It's great to hear appreciation for more vegan options, Nancy! It's all about embracing culinary diversity, whether at sea or ashore! 🛳️🍽️ Your adventures in England and France sound delightful and inclusive. Cheers to more foodie explorations! 🥂😊
Diving into a sea of vegan dishes without a gluten-free pasta floatie sounds like half the fun! 🍝😂Here's to hoping for some gluten-free goodness in the next menu update, Hope! Until then, may your taste buds sail smoothly on these vegan voyages! 🌱
I’m so glad that Princess got on board with vegan food and especially a specific menu for each restaurant! Do you also have snacks like vegan pizza, ice cream? How about breakfast ? Pancakes, Just egg, and vegan sausage and bacon?. Everything looks great and I would love to try everything! Do all ships have this?
I think it’s great to have the vegan options. I’ve seen vegan , vegetarian options in the dining room. It’s great to offer a more defined options. I’m not vegetarian or vegan but will definitely try them. Great to see this.
It's awesome to hear that an open-minded food enthusiast like you is on board with exploring the vegan options, George! 🌱🍽️ Every dish is a new adventure waiting to be discovered, whether it's plant-based or not! Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm, and do let us know if you dabble in any vegan cuisine during your upcoming Caribbean Princess cruise in January! 🛳️🎉
Very excited about this!! Do you have to make you want the vegan option menu beforehand. I also heard that if you tell them in the Eatry they will have vegan options for you. I'm sailing on the Princess Sun in November and really looking forward to this. Thanks!
I’m sailing on Royal princess soon , hopefully I find some good vegan and gluten free options, I’d love to try all the dishes especially vegan pad Thai, hope they bring out a GF vegan lasagne
That all looks delicious! Unfortunately I’m on your ship right now and accessing vegan food has been super difficult. The staff confuse it with gluten free, they can’t find the menus, and it has significantly delayed all of our meals. My “sandwich” yesterday came as cooked lettuce and tomato with no bread.
The vegan options for Princess cruises looks great on their menu but disgusting on the plate ! Nothing looked as what was shown on this video. #SamiKohen; it was an unforgettable experience alright. One night (as offered on the menu) I was fed carrots for the main meal...CARROTS !!! Nothing else and the "chermoula" sauce that was not even blended so I given a plateful of carrots swimming in oil and garlic. I returned it begging for at least tofu added to the carrots. The "linguini with walnut sauce" was a red sauce with whole walnuts added on top as a garnish. Plant based lasagna was a plate full of sliced vegetables with no pasta. ( I was told later by the chef that there was vegan cheese on board but was uncertain why the lasagna was prepared that way) The buddha bowl was not a buddha bowl as it had no grains. I was presented a 1/2 slice of avocado and two pieces of sweet potato on a plate. I am serious as I have the photos as proof. The desserts were the only thing that looked appealing. I hope you have a better experience. I refused to eat from the "vegan" menu and was glad that the dining room has a great chef to specially prepare my meals or I would starve. I took lots of photos of what #Princess describes as scrumptious on their TH-cam video. #RubyPrincess #Princesscruises
😂 Your logic is un-beef-able; you've got the circle of life on a dinner plate all figured out! 🌱➡️🐄➡️🍽️ While we're venturing into the leafy kingdom this time around, we totally get the “beef” with vegan! Stay tuned, and who knows, the next video might just have the kind of moo-mentum you’re looking for! 😜

What an excellent dining addition! I will be trying several of the dishes. Now hopefully they have gluten free pasta to go with those vegan dishes.

@@sailors365 well there is plenty of gluten free alcohol to fill me up what food doesn’t! LOL.

Were these options available in buffet dining, or only casual/specialty dining? Any tips for a fellow vegan navigating this issue?

The dishes are a hard pass for me.
Sometimes the leafy greens just don't cut it, especially when you're craving something a bit more hearty, right? 😬🍔
I like beef. Cows eat grass. Cows are beef. I eat cows😂

Cows are Vegans, and that's close enough for me.
