It took me nearly a week just playing a couple hours a night before I could even build a hut to save. This game is incredibly difficult. You make it look easy, especially on green hell difficulty.
You get used to it after a while and becomes second nature 😀 only problem is you let your guard down and then a snake comes along … 🪦
I love green hell and I'm very good at it. I have been playing Green Hell difficult level and still going strong with 310 days in game!

Should I play survival mode if I didnt like the forest and its “story”?
I dont wanna waste time doing quest when I bought a game to play a wilderness survival game

I've been playing this game on and off, and I had NO idea we could make a fire bow, learn something new everyday, I will have to remember that for when I play again,
Tbh the game is pretty in depth and there’s so many blueprints etc that can easily go unnoticed
for anyone new to this video, to get rid of a centipede just throw the items down. For me my keybind is "Q". the moment u see or hear them just throw it down. they like to hide in logs and long sticks
They are such a pain when trying to build
First 7 hours I died at the start about 5 times. Each time I had a bunch of wood (each type) food and as I built a campfire, something jumped at me. The first time it was a leopard, the second time it was a tribe and other times it was getting late and I wanted to build something to sleep on and as I distanced myself from the campfire to collect some leaves, the leopard jumped on me. I was almost at the point of throwing the table in front of me. Each time before getting to 10 pm!!! I learned that leopards can't get on the prebuilt hut that was abandoned. Yeah, that was the place of his final rest as I punched him into death from above. It is a really hard game, frustrating sometimes but I learned how to "survive" in that game. Well, it requires taste but once you got it, there is no turning back JASON BRODY!! Sorry for the little reference there... 😅
I’m on my 4th attempt and I’ve made it to day 8. The first 3 attempts I couldn’t find a bird carcass to make arrows so I got mauled by Jaguars each time LMAO
Long sticks rope and blades make spears that you can throw ! Headshots with spears are a insta kill
Tips you guys for your daily food intake
You need meat for your protein intake 3x
Brazilian nuts 3x
Banana 3x
And water
To keep a full bar .. and rest 5 to 6 hours
And blue mushroom for energy

Is there a reason why you’ve not used the abandoned fishing village to get established? It’s literally just down the river.
I have a few times in the past but just prefer other locations tbh, the space for building isn’t as much as other locations

I think there’s a few different locations it sets you
I made it 14 days on this difficulty (Green Hell permadeath) and was doing great until the game spawned a jaguar at my base right behind me. I killed it but I died from the scratches a few seconds later. So bummed! 🥲
Oh no! It really sucks when that happens 🙈 always try carry some ant heads to help heal your deep wounds from the jaguars
