I find it odd that you can't harvest a plant without an axe but yet you can craft planks from logs with your bare hands.

Yeah, ancient planks were made by finding straight logs and splitting with chisels and axes and cord for measurement into plank shapes.

I've been watching him for a few years, this is actually his weaker content because he's still explaining what he's doing in a new game and new series. When he gets deeper into series, he gets even more entertaining. He is soo good at cutting out the useless fluff and making decisions that keep the videos entertaining. He also has phenomenal movement, so you generally won't see him die but you'll see him escape something that probably more than 95% of players would die from.
He's also a genuine good person, which comes out in his videos despite his humor implying the inverse.

i haven't played GH for years! nice going Glock9.
also, (unless they patched it out) Bone Broth was one of the greatest meals in the game. it healed your sanity too. just harvest those villagers, take their MANY bones and voila! bone broth for DAYS

I know you said it's just going to be a starter base but that small amount of water next to the painted rocks will dry up during the dry season

I have a couple of tips if you like.
In backpack hold "Y" for autosort your backpack
If you harvest those tribemens, you get a ton of feathers and bones (don't eat the meat you getting insane doing that)
After every time you pick up the tribemens' bow, knife, or a spear, it gets better quality after each time.
Ants are good if you got a bleeding injury, a deep cut from a tiger or Cougar. Have to have a torch to grab the ants from the anthill. It's good to have some in storage, just in case.
When shooting with your bow do you hold down left shift? If not that will help you a lot to steady your aim!
This game is brutal but very fun, I'm excited to see more from you with this game, and I hope you found my tips helpful!

great game. such a tough survival, can be brutal and unforgiving.
BTW the flower you got from the tobacco plant can be dried then planted to grow your own tobacco. Same with that big flower you found at first. If you let that plant fully grow (develop past the flower) it will give you a barb that is a great source for proteins and some carbs - the fruit looks like a green corn on the cob.

Whenever i see this game come up in my geed i immediately hear Metall8ca covering the Misfits.
Caymans are basically small alligators. I knew a girl in college that had one as a pet, kept it in a big ass aquarium. We went to ger place to smoke up one day, asked if I could pet it. She said that was a bad idea, reached in and tapped its back and to tried to take her hand off. Crazy.
