- In this video, I talk about my 2005 Suzuki Boulevard M50 purchase and how I snagged this bike for such a low price. Foreign cruisers are less popular than American brands but this still felt like a good bike for the price. I post the test ride footage at the end of the video. The bike has a loud Vance & Hines exhaust with no baffles.

I picked up my first bike 6 months ago (Nov '22). 2013 Suzuki M50 with only 1,202 miles and paid $2,900. It has a Blue Collar Bobbers kit on it and aftermarket exhaust, but also it came with the original seats and exhaust which I later sold for $200, so in the end I only have $2,700 in the bike 👍🏼
Great first bike!
I l over the bobber look but after having my bags and shield. I decided to keep them
@@tiffanyrussell1803 I love the bobber look, but also realize it's not practical in some situations which is why I also bought a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 with a windshield and bags. Now I have a cool, around town bike and a more practical grandpa cruiser for longer trips.
That's a great purchase. BTW, just over 38k miles is nothing. Even if it sat for awhile, that's only an average of over 2,100 miles per year. 🏍️
I got my 2008 m50 a year ago. I havent put any money into until this spring. 600 bucks for a tune up and a new back tire
Would that make a good beginner bike?
Absolutely!
They r great beginners
It's very lightweight with a low center of gravity with very linear power delivery. It's a bulletproof motor and these bikes are cheap to repair. I've had 2 and they're awesome. Mine has Cobra pipes, K&N filter, and PC3 and those really wake it up. Likely 50rwhp with ~50ft-lbs and that's plenty for more uses and keeps up with other cruisers easily (even with a 215lb rider).
100% They are great for a first time rider. A lot of people end up keeping them for a good while even after learing. Great bike.
0-60mph?
5 seconds
5 sec
Yeah 5 give or take depending on the launch and rider.Mine is closer to 4.5 with the mods.
White walls 🤌
Yeah they dont really look great on the M series maybe the C.
These bikes are poorly built I had a 05 boulevard with 21,000 miles all sudden motor just blew on me no sign no lights on gauge just blew up at 60 mph upon looking inside the motor I find that Suzuki uses plastic parts inside the motor what the fuck now I see why it blew watch out folks my bike was maintained and this still happened just sayin its fucked up
Doesnt make em all bad yours was a lemon or somebody beat the crap outta the motor.I rip the crap outta mine and she purrs like a kitten.25k miles.
Change the drive shaft oil!!!
is that a joke
@@aricroy4258 Why would that be a joke??
