I visited Bedford Street antiques today and the people there were so great. I loved all the booths and bought several things. You might find you are missing a planter and the apple egg dish from your booth. I was shocked that the booth is small. It looks bigger on you tube. I also made a stop at the Mechanixburg Goodwill and at Black Rose of Chambersburg on Wednesday. You inspired me to try out my new skill of picking that I learned from you. I am not a reseller but I picked up some things for me and some things for gifts. Thank you for showing us how to find treasures.
If you find some thing at a Goodwill without a price I found that if I ask an employee near the back of the store near warehouse area they will take it to the back and price it for you but if you take it to the cashier, they won’t sell it. Works for me :-)
I went to my goodwill yesterday and I actually got 8 Waterford wine goblets for $2.99 each and 4 french wine goblets with a gold ball around the bottom also for $2.99 each! I was so excited!

The Somerset Goodwill started out as part bins, and they changed it over to what it is now. So happy to see you stopped there. I do go there myself a least every other week.

Jocelyn, my great uncle Sammy had a backwards arm! He'd had polio as a child and was then hit TWICE by lightning while farming his field. This was during WWI when his brothers all went to war but he was declined because of his backwards arm, so he stayed home to singlehandedly (literally!) run the farm as well as teach at the one-room schoolhouse. This was on Blue Mountain, where the pottery is made. Sorry so long; all of this came to mind when you showed the little girl figurine with the badly repaired arm. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 😄

Hiiii Jocylyn in case you have not heard that enough. What a doll Laurel is. What great prices at all three places. Our GWS have ridiculous prices..one seems to like the 24.99 price. I have so many of the Blenko water pitchers..have that one, but don’t have an older red one. The old ones were made with a touch of gold. I keep looking though. The kitty was cute and that Mexican piece would have been much more anywhere else. We don’t have bins here. Hope your pieces bring you lots of money.❤❤❤❤
That must have been a pleasant surprise and a relief that particular Goodwill was not an outlet store (in the usual sense, with the bins). Laurel is an angel and a scene stealer. 🤣
Did you know that Longenberger has resumed operations here in Ohio? They are still in Desden Ohio. SO, even though some of their items may not hold value at this time I am thinking that may change! BOLO for the newer items (which are wonderful) because it seems to be selling very well!
It looked like some sort of matching piece on the top shelf…right above that sugar. I just saw a glimpse of it though. Anyway…. Laurels little “hi”…so sweet
I do fairly well with Mats Jonasson (jon as son). It's from Sweden and done in a reverse relief mold leaving a concave depression in the crystal to be viewed from the smooth side. You are probably going to get more than 45 for the amethyst Blenko. They didn't make a lot of that color in that design. I'm betting it's more like 60.

Yes the Amethyst water bottle is a Blenko product I happen to own one in both Amethyst and Colbalt bought directly from Blenko in 2001.
