I remember when i was 6 years old my father had this CD ( he like every genre of music from the beattles to slayer to bon jovi ) , i kept listening to this song and didnt understand anything cause i didnt speak english at this moment ( im from montreal quebec ) . i remember taking is headphone , put pantera on the cd player and keep listening to this amazing rift thanks to let me remember those moment

The craziest was a small but hyperactive pit for Napalm Death. Exodus had the coolest fun-loving pit, super-friendly. Yeah man, you know about these guys. Can you hear the Texas in the guitars? Also. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, coming to the realization that the system is set up against regular people, really makes you angry. Some of us migrated toward intense pissed off metal. Some gravitated towards pissed off rap/hip hop. Depends on your situation and your surroundings. We were pissed off. We knew we were getting shafted. We had these bands, (and in my particular case pantera and life of agony), because got the first time in our live we felt understood. Part of something. We belonged. No matter what society told us, we knew we were fighting for our futures and our lives. Seeing people discover it brings back so many memories of just sitting there, and thinking "holy shit. There's more of us out there.". It reminds me of my first listen. Thank you, man. I appreciate you.

I always start any Pantera session with A New Level. My "top 5" Pantera list is A New Level, I'm Broken, Domination, Revolution Is My Name, and Fucking Hostile.

Like 10 white people in a school of about 500 so everything was hip hop till quit school and came across Pantera on the Fuse channel when I was 16. Was just months after Dimebag was taken from us. I'm 31 now and most of their songs still give me chills.
