I felt like a turtle on my back. lol. I have learned to shift my weight a bit more during my subsequent 3 Slipknot shows. I'd go to a Slipknot concert 7 days a week and twice on Sundays if they would only let me.

I saw Slipknot during their debut year (1999) at Ozzfest, and I wasn't ready for them. I couldn't stand it! All I heard was all kinds of screaming and growling, and these weird creepy people with masks on. I didn't like it at all. Over time, my tastes have changed and developed, and I now have an appreciation for what they do. Their music has also matured and just keeps getting better. Now, I cannot wait to go see them in concert, and I'm sad that I missed them recently. It's on my bucket list to "jump the fuck up."

There wasn't enough room for everyone to get down and jump up, so he adapted that part to getting us all to hop on one foot! I'm so happy that they keep doing this shtick!!

i was there!!! Download is the biggest metal festival in the UK & that was the highlight of 3 days. I believe this was the year before their bassist passed away so the next time they came back it was like a massive memorial to him. The metal community is one of the most welcoming & friendly there is, if a guy goes down in the pit next to you, you pick him up, dust him off & throw him straight back in.

i was there!!! Download is the biggest metal festival in the UK & that was the highlight of 3 days. I believe this was the year before their bassist passed away so the next time they came back it was like a massive memorial to him. The metal community is one of the most welcoming & friendly there is, if a guy goes down in the pit next to you, you pick him up, dust him off & throw him straight back in.
