This is what I love about the humble little Volca Drum, it can get well away from the dreaded techno box sounds and into some real spaces. Your the first person I've come across doing something interesting with it. Well done and thanks.
Thank you! ❤ There are others out there (and of course more videos on my channel), but I guess most purely use it as a, well, drum machine. I do love how versatile and weird it is.
Thank you! The volcas are definitely neat! Fairly affordable compared to a lot of professional gear, have overall good sounds and versatility, and can be combined together with other volcas and other gear when you expand.
Enjoyed every single second of this session!😮 Impressive for sure! What a deep and evolving jam buddy! Drum one is the best Volca if you ask me..I have two of them eheh! Immediately subscribed! 👍
Nice jam! It flows beautifully and you’re getting great sounds out of this minimal setup. I have both the zoom and the Volca. I’m pretty familiar with the pedal but still learning the Drum.
Thank you! ❤️ You don't need much gear to create some interesting sounds. I feel like I'm still learning both. The Drum is pretty daunting, but very fun to play with (especially the "randomize" function).
@@MilesJams 100% I made a full track once with only the Volca keys (drums, bass and leads) and made a full album with the korg NTS-1. By the way, are you located in Norway?
Thank you! ❤ I think this is where I tried out the presets from this video, you can check the comments/descriptions there: th-cam.com/video/SA8DZTdPx-A/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, glad you like it! ❤ I think I used the following effects chain: Particle Reverb, Random Filter, Seq Filter, Filter Delay, Monosynth. Play around with it, it's a lot of fun! Keep the volume low though, as it can easily peak.
Cool ambience love the endless possibilities with the Volca Drum 🥁 ❤
Love it! This is were in my oppinion the Volca "drum" makes the most sense. Awesome piece!
Thank you! ❤

Is this ambient music? Or is it too rhythmic, noisy, or energetic?
Let me know what you think, I'm genuinely curious.
It is what it is. Thank you for this!
I think it's hypnotic techno
Percussive industrial/dark ambient. Like the Quake OST for example. Loved your video by the way.
One man/ one volca/one FX pedal.. great moment ‼️‼️💥💥
Thank you! ❤
Cool stuff, I like the subtle airy background sounds. I really love these volcas, they sound great and I can afford them :)

I love such grooves. Weird as heck, subliminal.
Cool sounds. That's why I Love my Volca Drum... have fun making ambient sounds 😎
Thank you! ❤️ It is a very neat and weird little unit.

Thank you! ❤ The drum is pretty awesome, but quite daunting in its complexity for sound design (unless you're used to it).

@@smrchk2133 Ooh, nice! And yes I am!
Kult! Me too, living in Oslo :)
Very nice! : ) Can you share the presets for the second part of the video? Sounds really interesting!

It stays in your head. Would you share the effect chain from the MS? Or is it just the random filter?
Thank you, glad you like it! ❤
