My favorite tournament is GOML, just a few weeks ago. There was something so satisfying about seeing Leffen, after not attending a national in months, come in and beat all 4 of the present Gods to win the whole thing

Average There were also some crazy upsets in the Smash 4 bracket. Like when M2K beat ZeRo 3-0 and Leo's insane run

EVO 2015. It was the first tournament that I really watched, instead if only watching vods. It was also the tournament that turned Hungrybox from one of my favorite players to my all time favorite.

My favorite tournament by far was Genesis 3. Before that tournaments, I only heard Legends of losers Mango. Just before the Nintendude vs Mango set, all we heard was Fox tech skill, even Mango had only played Falco for the first part of the tournament. Once I heard the Fox tech skill, I knew Mango was reborn. Seeing him 3-0 Nintendude after he beat M2K was quite satisfying. That and when Mango landed the final B-air on Hbox, the crowd got so hyped for the Mango Armada grand finals. The two grand finals set of that tournament is my favorite set in Smash history. I don't think any tournament could top the story line of Genesis 3.

    The. Big. House. 4.
so many storylines so many upsets so many crazies yea we missed out a little on hbox and AR (and pp) but the rise of Leffen, The Return of the King.... ish, The Legend of Lucky, and to top it off with a loser's run from the kid himself
    nothing beats that imo

I agree with this. I was at Big House 4 and it was the best tournament I have ever been to. The whole top 32 was hype to build up to what is my favorite top 8. It was incredible!

    Apex 2015.
The Salty Suite moments were some of the most memorable in Smash history. It was super hype, the players were fun to watch. I saw most if it live and PPMD was awesome!!! I might've felt differently if I saw some more of the other tourneys live, but I remember this one the most.

Favorite tourney ever: G3 hands down. Having the entirety of top 64 streamed, AND bo5, AND almost every MIOM top 100 player, AND the Mango vs. Armada storylines, AND the Mango losers bracket run, AND a glimpse of The Doctor, AND WE SOMEHOW ALSO GOT DRAFT CREWS DAY 1 ON TOP OF ALL THAT? I literally didn't leave the house for those 3 straight days, and I don't regret it in the slightest. I don't know how any future tournament will ever be able to top it, including any future Genesis (4, 5, etc.).

Big House 5. Completely home-grown, grassroots tournament series and deservedly BH5 was the biggest of them yet. Expertly run by some of the best TOs we have in the community. Some absolutely amazing sets -- include the infamous Abate vs SJ2 invisible ceiling glitch.
Plus, I got first place in the fantasy draft, so its got special place in my heart, and sticker on my controller.

I absolutely love Vro. He's got such a crispy Marth and seems like such a cool guy. I only got to meet him for half a second when I travelled down there from Canada, but his interactions with me and more so with everyone else, idk, he's a real cool down to earth and just fuckin' cool dude. Glad to see he's getting a shoutout/more attention lately, because he's great to watch, play, or be around. I hope he keeps getting better and travels to even more events and takes some more names at nationals.

TBH4 hands down for me. We had so many killer sets: Lucky v Westballz, Lucky v Hbox, Mango v Lucky, Mango v Armada, Mango v Leffen, Leffen v Armada, Leffen v M2K, and who could forget GFs. The tourny went so smoothly too, especially considering they did round robin pools

The Big House 4. It was in October 2014 and I had gotten into Melee right before that, so it was the first huge tournament that I watched. The matches were sick and I still watch them from time to time. My favorite set ever is Mango vs M2K in winner's finals. I play Sheik because of that set, M2K's edgeguards in that set were insanity.

Genesis 3. For me Genesis was the most hype tournament ever. For all games every step of the way was hype as hell. Crews, Doubles, and Especially singles for all three games was trucking with hype. It still gets me today that in Smash 4 Dabuz was able to sustain himself and come close to beating ZeRo. It was also hype seeing Armada V. Mang0 grand finals for the third time in a row :D overall Genesis 3 left me with a really good impression that tournaments will grow in difficulty, entrants, and hype as the year goes on and so far it's being delivered amazingly with CEO and EVO 2016

My favorite tournament/the one that had the most effect on me- New Fish, the first big tournament I ever went to. I didn't do too well, but I played a lot of games, learned a lot, met a lot of great people, including Flipp, MVD, JohnNumbers, Ally, and I had to play Colbol/Slox in doubles. Got my ass kicked pretty hard. But it was a lot of fun, JN and Flipp especially taught me a lot, especially thankful for Flipp's patience with a noobie snake player. Afterwards somehow ended up at a Denny's with Ally. Overall fun times.

    Pax Prime 2015
As a smash 4 and melee fan so much happened this tournament, with m2k being in a slight disadvantage against leffen from previous results it looked nearly impossible. But when he won game 1 in a crazy fox ditto, he really gained momentum quickly. Then he proceeded to 6-0 him in WF and GF with all three of his mains. Great top 8 to watch. For smash 4 it was (I believe) zeros second set taken by vinnie. Crazy

Big House 4 had an incredible storyline for top 8. I like judging most tournaments by top 8 and that was by far the best. Recently I'd say GOML 2016 was my second favorite just by the same concept. Top 8 was an intense set of matches and the storylines while not as grand as TBH4 still intriguing.

      I know, but let me explain;
For a 1-year span of enjoyment value, GOML makes sense because of Leffen returning and making a real statement after his visa issues.
But for all-time, the long rivalry between mango and armada, with the now-classic mango losers run etc, Genesis 3 is the pinnacle of that storyline.
      Better?

I think the first Genesis was an absolutely brilliant tournament. Mango vs Armada is of course the highlight, and I guess in it's time it is incredibly comparable to Ken vs Bombsoldier. Speaking of Bombsoldier, we saw Zhu famously upset M2K as well at this tournament. If not this, I honestly think TBH4, GOML2016, and Apex 2014 and 2015 were incredible.

My favourite tournament is Pound. Watching Hax$ finally play after so long was nice to watch.

EVO 2015, because literally every top 8 was amazing. (shout outs to Killer Instinct's top 8)
as far as Melee goes, I really loved Big House 5 and Genesis 3
